Emily Glass will be dead in days unless she can overcome destiny.
An overlord of Hell has a price on Emily's head and every demon in the underworld wants to claim the prize. She might be the Great Banisher, but even she can't fight off an army of demons. The only way to survive might be to trust an enigmatic Seraphim, and to find the source of her powers.
Where does her demon banishing power come from? How can she rip the powers from vampires? There don't seem to be any other beings with powers like hers, but if they exist, they might help her survive the minions of Hell.
Emily has to solve a mystery even her dead mother couldn't unravel. Otherwise, she'll soon join her in the afterlife.
This book seems to be the end of the Emily Glass side story. Finally everything falls into place and the background is colored in very nicely. Emily learns of her family roots and it's quite a mind blowing experience for her. If you're a Corwin fan, read these books.
Installment 3 of an epic story. I love John Corwin's ability to tell a good story. This book had a lot of enjoyable twists and turns as well as multiple strong female characters.
This is by far the best book in the Emily glass series. The book is full of action, good dialogue, and it was really hard to put down. I am officially a Emily glass fan which is why I gave this book 5 stars.
