My niece recently knocked out her front tooth - baby tooth fortunately. She LOVED this book. It's a great story about who the tooth fairy is and how they use the teeth to build castles in fairyland. Best thing about this book is the fun pull out letters between the little girl who lost her tooth and the tooth fairy - similar to The Jolly Postman: Or Other People's Letters. I highly recommend this if you have anyone in your house due to lose teeth soon.
Dear Tooth fairy is a very fun interactive book that can really get people involved with the story. Every page you turn has a new little pouch to open and find a note from the tooth fairy. The images are also really cute and can sow the reader a home life they can relate to. Personally I always loved it because the main character is a brown haired girl and she has a blonde little brother which exactly what I grew up with. It also added an interesting twist where there are a lot of tooth fairies and only one gets assigned to you.
I absolutely loved this book!!! I thought this was such a good idea for a book. I loved the interactive letters that the kids can take out and out back in the envelope. I would recommend this book for upper elementary aged kids though because there are a little bit more words than beginner readers can handle and with all the small pieces, 4th-5th graders would handle them better. I will definitely be putting this in my classroom library.
This book has intrigued my first graders for years! I always pull it out when they begin to lose their teeth. Sadly one of them lost parts to my book last year and it doesn’t read the same without the pieces. They still love it even without the notes.
The main character Robby is worried about class picture day. Robby is worring about his teeth. He is the only student with in his class to still have his baby teeth. The only solution he could think of was to write the tooth fairy a note and ask her if she would take his baby teeth early. He wanted to fit in so bad. The other children in his class are not very nice to him, because he still had his baby teeth. As you read the story you will see how the main character Robby feels about all this. This is a great story that can relate to young children.
Adorable story! I only wish I'd had a copy of this when my children were younger. Answers a lot of questions parents naturally get about the tooth fairy. There are letters inside where the Tooth Fairy answers a young girl's questions about the TF. Definitely one I would buy!
This is a great little book. The pull out letters are great and this is in our regular rotation of books to read at night together. Perfect for a little girl getting ready to lose a tooth!
