COLEL(Book #5, The Immortal Matchmakers, Inc. Series).

WARNING:
This book contains foul language, gratuitous sex against a truck, outrageously rude immortal warriors in leather pants, snow, pigheaded gods, a sexually frustrated goddess, a very hot and hunky florist guy with a bad attitude and a big secret, Brutus bubble baths, a sneaky invisible unicorn, unrequited love, bees, bees, and more bees, and chocolates.

Colel, the Goddess of Bees, has been looking for Mr. Right for over seventy thousand years. So when she meets the hunky owner of a small-town flower shop and explodes with flutters and tingles, she’s almost certain that he’s the one.

Only two problems: her tiny black-and-yellow army suddenly won’t let her anywhere near him, and…is that a freaking epinephrine pen in the fridge? “Dear gods! He’s allergic to bees? Say it isn’t so.”

colel mimi jean pamfiloff

Colel is book five in the Immortal Matchmakers, Inc. series by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff.

Colel is a Goddess, one of those that were created to protect our earth. She is Mistress of the Bees. Her seventy thousand years existence is dedicated to keeping the bee population of the world safe and healthy. Only the bee population has been dying out and she can’t figure out why. That is why she is currently in this tiny Colorado town checking on the local hives. When she walks into the local flower shop, something happens that she has waited seventy thousand years to happen, she feels an instant pull towards the shop’s owner, Rys. Could it be that she had finally found “the one?” The one man who is her soul mate? But Fate seems to be laughing at her because not only does Rys look at her with complete disdain, he throws her out of his shop because, yes, he’s allergic to bees.

Rys has the weight of the world on his shoulders for reasons I don’t want to divulge because I don’t want to give anything away. But rest assured, he has lost his faith in love. Not to mention the fact that he would like to stay alive which wouldn’t happen if he got stung by one of Colel’s bees. He can’t understand this strange attraction he felt to her. How could he after what he’s been through? The best thing to do is stay away, right?

Colel is determined to find a way for she and Rys to get to know each other. How else will she find out if he really is her mate? One problem, though, is that her bees which accompany her everywhere, are determined to keep them apart. So Colel comes up with a crazy plan to make Rys invincible to her bees. But first, she has to make sure he is the one! Second, she has to admit to him, a human, what and who she really is. Then, thirdly, she has to sell him on her plan! Easy peasy, right?!

This has all the crazy we have been so accustomed to in this series. Colel and Rys were so much fun. But even more than that, I enjoyed the next part of Zac and Tula’s story. Mimi Jean is torturing us with little bits of their ongoing saga and it’s killing me. And of course, crazy Cimil and her evil invisible unicorn, Minky, make an appearance.

angry unicorn

So, buckle up and get ready to smile. Because this installment of the series will most certainly make you do just that. I’m not certain but I’m thinking that Brutus might be getting his story next.

I've loved this authors outrageous stories which tend to star her swaggering uber macho Immortal males so it made a change to have the Goddess Colel taking centre stage. I do have empathy for her as she's quite isolated in many ways and its really only her personal hive of Bees that ever really get close to her. Things are changing in the Immortal world and its even more important than ever to find your Mate so Colel is beside herself when she stumbles across a florist that could be hers ! Oh wait I really should point out that Rys is deathly allergic to Bees so how on earth will this ever work out ?
Hmm this is a difficult review for me because I was incredibly irritated by Colel so clearly that colours my judgment of this story. I can say that I warmed up towards her when I realised that she truly would do anything to make Rys happy and actually I thought the last third of the book was back on form. What I really enjoyed were the snippets spread throughout about Zac who is mourning Tula and no spoilers but I really want the author to hurry up and let her readers know more about what's happening there. However this book is about Colel and her possible romance with Rys. Ok to be blunt I think because the Immortal was Colel what I personally missed was an Alpha male taking charge. For this reader Rys just didn't match up to previous heroes although I did eventually accept that he could be perfect for Colel. A different book to what I expected but still with chaos and hilarity spread within the pages and of course a rather difficult unicorn appearing this could only come from Mimis imagination.
This voluntary take is of an advance copy and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair.

This review was originally posted on Addicted To Romance

Colel is part of the Immortal Matchmakers series by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff. I have such a soft spot for this author, I don't get a chance to read her as much as I would like, however, I adore her writing style and she really pulls the reader into her stories with no apologies and I love her zest that we see in her stories. Colel is such a unique PNR, and not the style that you normally see in a romance but such a refreshing one. There are technically two love stories that we see but one Colel's story is where we find the happy ending we are looking for. (Although I can't wait for the next book to see what happens)

Colel begins with our heroine, Colel, who is a bee mistress (or in other words the goddess of the bees) she has lived for centuries and sees to the well being of the bees in the world. Colel wants what many of her fellow friends have...true love and she wonders if she will ever find her one true mate.  She is called back into the mortal world when she discovers that there is trouble with the population of her bees and is on the hunt to discover what is happening with them. Colel is led to  a small town, where upon looking for honey for her bees, she is confronted with a beautiful sexy man who despises her but one who is also her true mate. She feels an instant connection with him but he hates her and when she learns that he is allergic to bees and that his brother died from a bee sting, she has no clue how to discover more about this mysterious man who seems to feel the same connection but isn't open to starting anything with her. But what begins as a search in trying to find a way to happy ever after is a road that leads to disastrous pathways and Colel will have to risk everything to save her mate...

Colel was such a charming and fun romance and I got so much satisfaction in reading this novel. It has been a while since I have been this author up and every time I pick her up I wonder why I don't read her more. Now I won't say that this is my favorite book from this author, but quite an entertaining forbidden romance that we see develop here. My reasons for not liking this one quite as much as some of her others is the pacing. I am not sure if it was just the mood or the actual book itself, but I felt like the pacing was a bit off in the later half of the story. It was quite disappointing to be honest in some moments but I also felt so engrossed in the story that it didn't keep me from enjoying the story itself.

We do a get a sideline love story that ends with a cliffhanger and I am assuming their story will continue in the next installment of the series. At first I was a bit confused by what was really going on, but I was able to catch on quickly though and became so intune with their story and despite how much I wanted to see them find their way to their HEA, I did like how Pamfiloff ends things with though.

The romance that develops between Colel and Rhys is quite intense in many ways and there is some angst in the fact that they are very opposite from each other. The most important is the fact that Colel is the keeper of bees, and the bees are pretty protective of her and don't trust her new interest in Rhys. So Colel has to get pretty creative, but Rhys is really consued by everything. He feels a bond between them but he also can't stand her love of bees which is the one thing he can't stand to be around. But then we get some added complications and the type of complications that I never expected. Now these surprised is one of the things that I love about this author. I NEVER know how she will write a story and circumstances and developments in plots never happen in the way the reader ever suspects.

I did have a blast with this book and seeing the unique way this story developed. I grew to love both Colel and Rhys and seeing them find their much needed happy ended was so satisfying especially after we see all that these two go through, but they do find their own path in such delicious and momentus ways. I adored this book and am itching to read the previous books.

Overall I found this story to be a laugh out loud romance, its a story to take pleasure in, to entertain and liven up your mind and give you all those delicious tingles we romance readers love feeling in our romances. ADORED EVERY MOMENT

Yes, this book comes with a warning when all it needed to say was “dreamed up and written by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff,” for readers to know they are about to enter a world of irreverent humor where nothing is sacred and there will be tons of fun and laughs along the way.

So, leave your inhibitions at the door, check your blush and get ready for COLEL, mistress of the bees and a 70,000 year-old goddess looking for love. Has she finally found the man of her dreams? How can she and her bees convince the man with the epi-pen they were meant to be? How can a 70,000 year-old woman be so clueless about the art of romance? And how can the Fates be so cruel as to allow her to fall for a guy allergic to bees? To be honest, he doesn’t seem so crazy about her, either. Ahhh, love sweet love ala Mimi Jean Pamfiloff…

And again, I laughed, my eyebrows shot up and I was hooked on this honey of a read! Get ready for the perfect mood-lightening escape that will leave you with a smile and sore cheeks from all of the laughter! Will Colel get her man? Will Rys be bitten by the lovebug? And is that a cameo appearance from Cimil???

I received a complimentary ARC edition from Mimi Jean Pamfiloff!

This was cute and silly. I found myself laughing quite a bit at Colel and the situations she kept getting herself into. I really liked her but she is VERY eccentric. A little bit of a warning, this has one of the craziest storylines I have read lately.

There are multiple side characters that all have a part and did raise the entertaining to a new level. I have not read the previous books in the series but I didn't feel lost where Colel was concerned. There was a second couple that seem to be in the "in progress" stage so I did feel lost with them. Only because I don't know their beginning beyond a brief description. They were still left in limbo by the end of this book.

You do get the HEA for Colel and Rys. I got the impression that all the side characters just continue in each book. That is one thing I really love in a series. I like to keep seeing beloved characters from other books in a series. I'm intrigued by all these side characters. They are all unique in their own way. This is great for when you need a stress free read that will make you laugh.

As soon as I opened the cover I began laughing and never quit. Colel is naive in the romance department, and when she meets the one…what to do… Especially seeing she is the Mistress of the Bees…and they aren’t liking him at all, and…he’s allergic. Delightfully sexy romp with evil gods and goddesses, vampires, mermaids, humans….and so much more.

This book should win some kind of prize in originality. Quite a fun plot I had to admit that although not my kind of humor and taste. This honey didn't suit my cup of tea

ARC REVIEW

Oh my flippin' Gods!! This book! Mimi has done it again taken us on a wild ride, between Colel and her crazy ninja assassin bees and Minky. Woooo this book is crazy good, emphasis on the crazy.

Colel has been the Mistress of the Bees since her creation 70-ish thousand years ago and after all that time she's lonely but looking for love when you wear a beehive for a hat isn't easy especially when your bees are very protective. Rys is the one human who has ever sparked a lustful emotion out of Colel but everytime she gets near him her bees freak out and considering the fact he's deathly allergic to bees has her all twisted inside. Meanwhile Zac is dealing with his own romance problems, Minky has gone off her rocker and Cimil well.... it's better if you just read it.

Overall these crazy gods and goddess make for some good laugh out loud fun reading. Mimi has a way with words especially when she's channeling Cimil. Told in third person mainly from over the shoulder of Colel and sometimes Rys and Zac. I love the direction Mimi is taking this, she keeps you guessing. This is a standalone Colel and Rys story begins and ends only Zac and Tula's ongoing tragedy is well.. ongoing, but there is a nice little tease as to what's going on next.

Wow, what a fun read. I love Mimi’s books but I’m ashamed to say this was my first look into this series and I can see I’ve been missing a ton of fun and I have quite a bit to catch up with. On saying that, this book was easily read as a stand alone and I didn’t find my self confused in any way when well known characters were mentioned or added to the plot.
This Immortals story was phenomenal and Colel, the Mistress of the Bee’s role in this tale was hilarious at times and the wild ride that progressed had me in stitches.
It was a very different story and Colel surprised me many a time with her Immortal antics and her beloved bees.
An easy read, and very addictive, I highly recommend it!

OMG I loved this one! Bees have a special place in my heart and have been facing a lot of struggles lately so I've been looking forward to Colel, Goddess of Bees story.

Colel is in the tiny town of Crested Butte Colorado, checking the local hives and trying to help her tiny subjects when she happens across handsome florist Rys. She is instantly attracted to him the only problem: Rys is severely, deathly allergic to her beloved bees AND seems to hate her with a passion! Not to bee deterred, Colel hatches a plan to have Rys made immortal so that she can pursue him without fear of him dying from the stings of her little minions who have decided they DON'T want to share her with him!

How do I describe this book, and series? Well it's a mash-up of paranormal, zombie apocalypse (without the zombies but with rabid immortals instead) and rom-com.
So a very run-of-the-mill book, not😉

The Immortal Matchmakers books can be read stand-alone, though there is also a story arch that runs throughout the series. Having read only two of the five books (this and book #4), I can tell you from personal experience that you quickly pick up the threads that run throughout them all, plus there is a glossary of characters at the back of the book to help you keep all those Gods, Goddesses and other Immortal Beings in order. Well possibly all of them except Cimil, no one's keeping her in order.

If you read this (and you really should) you will be getting a REALLY fun read that will have you giggling at it's silliness - including all the very many 'bee' puns. It's also very well written, incredibly snarky, has a really engaging story, some unexpected twists and turns and a lot of sexual frustration followed by some scorching hot sex. Outside. Against a truck at one point.

[He] was like an immortal manly soup that nourished her down to the tips of her golden hair.

As with a lot of paranormal books it's written in the third person, and it definitely needs to be because we get the view point of quite a few different characters, including some from previous books. Again you really don't need to have read those books, the author cleverly weaves information into this so that you can keep up with the story. It also means you don't need to re-read previous books to keep up with the plot. That said most of the book focuses on Colel, her massive attraction to Rys and all the obstacles that the Universe (who was either more sadistic than ever, or the damned woman had finally cracked) put in their way.

Now whilst MJP likes to give us a happy ending, she isn't averse to making her characters and readers suffer along the way to said HEA. In fact I get the feeling that she likes nothing better than torturing her readers by dangling love, peace, harmony and all that jazz just in front of your nose, then snatching it away again as she cackles hysterically about it. For instance Zac and Tula - talk about give with one hand and take away with the other!

I don't beelieve that there's much more to say. It's a fun book, more plot than character driven, fast paced, silly and a great read. This is a quote that nicely sums up what you'll be getting for your well spent coin.

The woman's mouth fell open to the fully slack position as she took in the enormous beehive atop Colel's head.
"Oh no. Don't do that. Chuck will think it's an invitation."
He loved the warmth of a good human mouth or , really, any human orifice.
Such a pervy little thing

Colel by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff is a fun, imaginative, sexy story that you'll devour. Colel is book 5 in Mimi's Immortal Matchmakers, Inc. Series. This was actually my first book in the series and I just love it. It's about Gods who are protecting us and the world and they are all so fun. I'll definitely have to check out the rest of the series.

Colel is the Goddess of Bees and she's on a mission when she comes to a town and is instantly pulled to a man who can't seem to stand to be in her presence. Rys is a remarkable man, even if he is moody and brooding all the time. I loved the chemistry these characters had, even if they fight it the whole book. Rys is allergic to Colel's bees so it makes it hard for them to have a relationship. So Colel conducts a plan to make Rys hers, but there is a lot of deceit and lying. She must decide if it's worth it or if she needs to be honest with the man who has her world flipped upside down. I enjoyed reading about the other Gods as well. There is so much drama and chaos happening, but that doesn't stop these characters from fighting for a true mate.

If you love a great story that captivates you, makes you laugh and leaves you dying to get your hands on the next book, then you should pick this up. Such a fun read.
I give Colel by Mimi Jean Pamfiloff 4 out of 5 STARS!

I always enjoy Mimi's books. Her witty writing and quirky characters are a treat to read. Colel left me desiring for more. I found her a bit silly and desperate. She shamelessly chased Rys and her shenanigans made be laugh. Rys was a jerk, though there is a reason for his behavior. The whole dysfunctional divine family was called for conference on the matter of Cimil. I must say I missed that bat-shit crazy Goddess and her dramatics. It wasn't as much fun without her antics.

I was more interested in Zack and Tula's on going romance. There is a major twist on it in the end, which again left the tragic love story on a cliffhanger. I really, really need to know how it ends with Zack and Tula. Mimi is torturing by giving little bits and pieces while the other deities are finding their mates and living happily ever after.

Talking about Fated Mates, the rules are changing again or rather the universe is fucking with everyone by giving multiple mate choices. Those who are still single are flipping to their opposite nature. There could be another apocalypse. Oh wow! Fun times. Can't wait to read Brutus' story and I hope it won't be the last. We need more madness in our lives because normal is so overrated.

When I started reading Colel I knew that a) it’s a Mimi Jean Pamfiloff book, with all the craziness that entails, and b) it’s part of the Immortal Matchmakers series, so it was going to be one heck of a zany time. What I can say *after* reading it is: hold on tight for a wild and comical journey unlike any other.

You know when an author puts a “warning” about the language and sexy content of the book at the beginning of it–and in the book’s synopsis–that you’d better take heed. Colel definitely lived up to that warning, but in the best of ways. If you’ve read any of the other Immortal Matchmakers novels, or anything else by MJP, then you know the level of humor and the Hot factor in her writing. Honestly, Colel kicked it up a notch if you can believe it. Read More

Sticky train wreck that will have you laughing out loud till the end

Colel is that clueless awkward girl in all of us crushing on her first hardcore love with no idea how to turn those feelings into approaching and winning the man she has set her sight on. She also happens to be a drop-dead gorgeous Goddess but to me is the most identifiable of the crazy bunch because her cringy moments rival many of our own.

Another bonus in this IMM book is that we get fun Easter Eggs from other series and loose ends from everywhere coming together, mingling, knotting up and generally blowing your mind with connections and events I never saw coming but had me in stitches the whole book.

Mimi Jean’s stories are always entertaining and Colel is no exception!
I admit that I had no idea how Mimi was going to pull this one all together. Rys can’t seem to stand bees and they’re the whole purpose of Colel’s existence. Never mind the fact that Rys seems to hate her! Oh yeah, and the bees don’t like anyone who would take Colel’s attention away from them.
It’s just all a disaster! But Colel soldiers on and with Mimi’s excellent writing, she might just get her happy ending.
By the way, there are definitely some twists you won’t see coming. If I could give this 10 stars, I would. As it is, I’ll give it 5 stars!

Unbeelievably awesome!!!

Zany, off the wall, and completely wonderful, this book will pull you in and delight you! Nothing is ever easy for an immortal who wants their mate, but this book brings sweet angst to another level. A Cimil worthy level.

Loved it! I'm so happy Bees got her own book cuz I didn't much care for her in the accidental series but this book gave me a better appreciation for her and her mannerisms. She's not trying to be rude, she just didn't get much practice socializing with her overprotective hive.
And Rys? I could not believe the actual back story that he came with! Never would've guessed in a million years! I love that even though I've read almost all of Mimi's books, she still keeps me guessing with these original plot lines.
Definitely recommend this book, this series, and all her other books. You won't be disappointed.

Unsatisfying. If this is the end of the series, I wish that Zac and Tula finally got together, Brutus had an HEA, and that Zac didnt get frigging raped by a unicorn. Wtf. At some point, the zaniness of these books takes away from actual plot development. It seems like more time was spent on recapping past books than on the plot moving forward. We hardly learn anything about Rys other than his committment to his family. I do like Mimi's writing, it just seemed like maybe she wasn't all that into this last story.

Really wish, if this is the last of the series, that we could get a little closure on at least Zac's story. The dude has already gone through a lot...

The insane and temperamental Immortal Gods are back and I so missed them. This story is about arguably the most quirky God, or Mistress as she prefers. Colel is the Mistress of Bees, and she's on a very timely mission: to discover why bees are disappearing from their habitats. This mission 's success could very well help to stop deadly climate change.

The warning that Pamfiloff writes in the beginning with us readers that she is the Queen of Humorous Paranormal Romance (that is a thing).

If that warning doesn't peak your bee interest, your hopeless. Sorry!

Colel goes to Colorado to do an inspection of bee nests, and there she runs into Rys, the hot florist/snow plower. She gets those flutters...the ones you and I get when we are attracted to someone. But to a Goddess praying she doesn't turn evil soon, it means she found her soulmate. Or did she?

The dialogue is witty and hilarious.

"Then why the strange behavior? You went from being as verbose as a cave-dwelling hermit to being a chatting sixteen -year-old girl who prides herself on non-stop complaining as a competitive sport."

“I will have whatever you’re having,” said Votan. “You look like a real man, so don’t disappoint me.”

“The one I left with Minky. You didn’t think I’d @#£ you over, did you, Tula? We’re friends, and friends don’t throw away each other’s bodies.”

Pamfiloff writes the bees as real people, and it only enhances the humor in the story.

“I’m sorry! How was I supposed to know I’d be crushed by an avalanche?” She narrowed her eyes at the formation of bees resembling a man with his arms crossed in disapproval. “Oh, stop. You know I hate it when you make people sculptures. It’s just weird.” They buzzed into a cloud and formed a hand with a middle finger sticking up.

While Colel is fighting the urge to just be herself and possibly scare Rys away, God of Temptation Zac is fighting despair over losing his beloved Tula. He blames his sister Goddess Cimil, so when the fates seem to change in his favor, he's forced to help Cimil out of her prison cell. But they don't call her Crazy Cimil for nothing! She has an amazing plan that unfortunately pulls Zac into a scary situation with an invisible vampire unicorn. Yep, I said invisible vampire unicorn.

These dysfunctional Gods and Goddesses are wild and unpredictable, but ultimately they are a family. They prove it the most in this entry in the series, where they are forced to jump from one situation to the next saving each other. And Cimil shows them that even in prison she is pulling the most strings to save the world and her family. Or maybe she's just anxious about not having garage sales or thrift stores during the End of the World. Who really knows? What we do know is the rules are changing and the Immortal beings better work harder to mate each other before Armageddon arrives.

What a fast paced, action packed entry in the series! I look forward to the next entry and pray that poor Brutus finds a mate.

True to this author’s previous works, Colel will have you laughing out loud during this entertaining paranormal romantic comedy. Members of the immortal community are threatened by a plague and it is imperative that they each find their mates to avoid “flipping”. Colel, the goddess/mistress of bees is on a mission to find out why the bees are dying off and finds herself in a small town in Colorado. Armed with a traveling hive of bees, she encounters the flower shop owner, Rys and thus begins a hilarious tale of a zany, horny goddess and a reluctant florist.

Colel is a fun character in that she is clueless when it comes to pursuing a man, quite quirky and a bit nutty perhaps, and seems to go about wooing her mate (who happens to be deathly allergic to bees) in the craziest inappropriate ways. Her antics and thought processes had me in stitches. However, at times I felt that it was over the top. Rys is rude to her at times (in his defense, she comes across as rather batty) is less developed as a character although we get to know more about him in the last third of the book. There are only a few chapters from his POV which is why I think his character wasn’t as developed, but I also feel keeping the book told primarily from Colel’s POV is fitting. I also liked the secondary characters such as Brutus, some of the other immortal beings, and Chuck - if you can count a bee as a character! The book moved at a good pace, but there were areas where Colel would go off a bit on tangents when talking about other immortal creatures and past events.

Colel is the first book in the Immortal Matchmaker series that I’ve read and while it is book #5 in the series, I had no trouble following along. There is an underlying story involving the goddess Cimil and the god Zac throughout the all the books, but again, I didn’t have any trouble following along. I thoroughly enjoyed Colel with its humorous plot line and zany characters and I plan to read the earlier books in this series. I received this book for free.

What’s the Buzzzz ?

Oh that’s just Chuck and his psycho friends demanding honey.

Colel isn’t your average goddess. As Mistress of Bees she speaks fluent bee, and is responsible for the health of bee hives world wide. She also comes with her own personal immortal army of psychotic bees that live in her hat. It doesn’t help that the little jerks are the jealous type and don't want anyone near their girl. No wonder why no one ever gets close enough to her to make a love connection. Unfortunately she doesn’t have time to think about that right now, with the bee population suffering, she has work to do so the helpless humans don’t starve to death.

Enter Rys Crested Butte, Colorado’s local florist with a big attitude, bigger secrets and not to mention a deadly bee allergy. With their instant chemistry Colel tries to both avoid and get close to Rys, while he goes into full jerk mode. Add Brutus suddenly acting like a forlorn puppy dog toward her and you know it’s another romp amongst the most insane group of gods and goddesses around.

Though book five in the Immortal Matchmakers series focuses mainly on Colel, we do see the appearances by the other gods and goddesses, the continuation of Zac/Tula’s story, with some extra spicy Minky thrown for fun. Colel’s story wraps up without a cliffhanger but the book has enough of a “oh no you didn’t” to make you eager for the next installment.

Mimi Jean writes characters that are once again so human that you can’t help but to see yourself within them. They are snarky, chaotic, unsure of themselves, flawed, and so inhumanly human that you can't help but laugh, cringe and relate to them as they try to figure life and love out. Just when you think you have everything figured out the script flips and the Universe has clearly gone and lost her mind keeping you guessing up until the very end.

OMG laugh out loud funniest book that this Mad Genius I call Mimi Jean Pamfiloff has done yet. She has weaved Colel's story so perfectly and the jaw dropping moments that she left where just that jaw dropping.

Colel is the Mistress of Bees and has been looking for her love for years. Ok maybe a few thousand years to be exact but whatever. After seeing how her siblings have come so far with their own HEA, she wanted one of her own and especially since the good guys are turning or "flipping" evil and the bad guys for "flipping" good now. See Maaskab as nannies, maids and Cooks in previous books or ask Cimil for recommendation when she gets out.....

Riis is a florist, sexy with dark seductive eyes and frowns and broods alot. At least around her and he's also deathly allergic to 🐝. That's right BEES and u can find his EpiPen in the fridge he need it. It's attraction that throws her and he can't really explain and doesn't want. But u know Fate (as in universe not the goddess) she makes the rules and we're up a creek with no paddle.

This is probably the funniest, OMG, u have to know more about what happens next book that Mimi has written. Oh one other thing MINKY IS BACK!!!! Happy Reading folks!!!!

**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**

It has been ages since we have had the pleasure of reading the wonderful wacky works of this series. The author has brought her brilliant wit and comedy to yet another book and it does not disappoint.

Colel, Mistress of Bee's is a Goddess with a 70,000 year old problem, she is still a virgin and has finally found someone who has taken her fancy, however he does not seem pleased to see her.

We may not get to see much of the craziness that is Cimil in this instalment, however Colel manages to bring her own amount of craziness with her bees and Minky finally makes an appearance, we also get to see appearances from some of the other deities and characters associated with the previous characters in the books.

You will seriously not find another series like this out there and you really should take the chance at trying this author if you have not tried this series or the Accidentally series of which this is a spin off series from.

I cannot wait to read Brutus's story and really do hope that his is not the last book in the series.

My Thoughts:

I have said this before and I will keep right on saying it.....I LOVE Mimi Jean's style of writing. She is consistently funny and inventive. I mean, what more could a reader want? Colel is technically book #5 in the Immortal Matchmakers series ( I highly recommend you read all of the them.) but it can be read as a standalone book. I don't want to give away any spoilers so I will just list the 5 things I loved MOST about this book.

1. Minky- An UnBeeLievably angry, lusty, invisible unicorn...

2. The warning at the beginning of the book had me cracking up before I even got to the first page of chapter 1.

3. Rhys- Super hunky alpha with a secret.

4. Colel- Mistress of the Bees ( who have quite the sense of humor I might add) and overall hot mess. She takes the definition of celibate to a whole new level. She may be my favorite Goddess in this series.

5. Vampires, Mermen, Gods, Goddesses, Warriors, bubble baths, and some steamy "adult" time. ( So maybe there are more than 5 things I liked)

I have yet to read anything by this author that is less than awesome. 5 stars all the way.
