Christmas Miracle on Easter, the third installment of R.M. Gauthier’s Christmas Miracle Series, continues the story of Jack and Charlotte and their adventures in Christmas Town. Our stalwart hero once again finds himself in a predicament that he’d never imagined, facing yet another holiday that he’d never considered important enough to acknowledge.
This light and humorous tale had me smiling from ear to ear throughout the entire read. These characters are sweet and funny, sometimes laugh-out-loud funny, but as always, there are those secrets, little Easter eggs if you will, that have a way of working their way out of hiding just when you least expect it.
This short story—no, the entire series—is one that you most definitely do not want to miss. I look forward to each and every foray into the fictional world of Christmas Town. I don’t know how many volumes the author has planned, but I, for one, do not want to see this series end.
I've read the first - Christmas Miracle in July - and jumped at the chance to read this one. I love Jack...er...adapting, albeit reluctantly, to Charlotte's love of the holidays. His take as the Easter bunny is hilarious. I'll freely admit that I'm not a fan of cliffhangers, often avoiding them like the plague. However, Ms. Gauthier's writing - and storytelling - is enough to keep me coming back. As an installment of a serial, this does have a cliffhanger. I enjoyed this a great deal. I look forward to seeing where this series/serial goes.
‘Christmas Miracle on Easter’ is the third story in R.M. Gauthier’s ‘Christmas Miracle’ series. I’ve read every one of them and can’t wait for the next installment. This one, like the others, puts “merry” at the forefront, thanks to Jack’s self-deprecating humor throughout. Like a bunny, he keeps digging himself deeper and deeper— into the holiday celebrations of Christmas Town. All because of his love for Charlotte. A-a-h, the things he does in the name of love “suit” him quite well.
If you’re in need of grinning from ear to ear, and could use more than a few chuckles, this story, along with those leading up to it—‘Christmas Miracle in July’ and ‘Christmas Miracle on Valentine’s Day-- are for you!
Jack the Rabbit. Charming continuation of the Christmas Miracle story. Unable to avoid the holidays that Charlotte loves, Jack has found himself suckered into playing the dreaded Easter Bunny in his new home base. Wondering how he let himself get so deeply involved, he tries desperately to stop the madness, but to no avail. Charlotte calls him adorable!! Adorable??? How low has he fallen while under her spell? But under her spell is the only place he ever wants to be. He would do anything to make her happy, including allowing all these screaming children to grab and terrorize him. Jack tried to remain unmoved but can’t help but enjoy the children’s wide-eyed excitement. They receive more news as they try to make plans for their future. Nice short and sweet romantic tale (tail).
Christmas Miracle on Easter, the third book in the series. I just love how R. M. Gauthier can write to make a person feel the same as the characters feels. This story was shorter then the others, but had the same happiness, excitement, and full of anxiety. I loved the way she ends her books where she surprises her readers. Highly recommend. Won this book in a giveaway. Thank you!!
The third instalment in R.M. Gauthier’s Christmas Miracle series, this story is a little shorter than the others but still full of the same tension, humour and characters.
Gauthier is a great writer and a master of finishing a story with a sledgehammer that leaves you wanting to read on and keen for the next story.
I really enjoyed this book, and I really hope there will be another. Christmas Miracle on Canada Day, perhaps?
The Christmas Miracle Series are a group of short stories concerning a man discovering love and his adaption to the changes that love brings to his life. The stories are interesting and quickly read, although I would have preferred a complete book. On Easter has a cliffhanger ending, but by this book's release, the reader knows there's more to the story yet to come.
Christmas Miracle In July #1 - An interesting little story set in Christmas Town. I didn't know what the story was about, but it drew me in and kept me interested until the end. I liked the characters and the reason for the story. This author hasn't disappointed me with any of her books.
Christmas Miracle On Valentine's Day #2 - This story continues where In July ended. The story continues with Jack's acceptance to the changes in his life. The characters grow and the plot is interesting and has a lot of humor in it.
Christmas Miracle On Easter #3 - Oh, no. It's not exactly a cliffhanger, but it is; there's more to the story. This story continues where On Valentine's Day ended. Jack is still growing and accepting all the changes still coming with open arms; even the yucky ones. More of the characters are involved with their lives adding to Jack's.
Christmas Miracle On Memorial Day #4 – A lovely “ending” to CMOEaster. A beautiful wedding and forgiveness and a sad surprise, but a heartwarming, well-written story told from Jack’s point of view. A nice book to read during a coffee break or a relaxing break.
An interesting short story about someone who has obviously not had a happy life trying to adapt to small town fun and games - the Easter bunny get-together and a party at his house. I haven't read the first 2 books in this series and I suspect that would have helped make more sense of what was going on in this one. This together with the rather sudden ending leads me to believe these books could more accurately be called a serial, and would perhaps have been better presented in one decent length book. Having got that out of the way, the writing is very good and the characters are well written and easy to relate to making a fairly light feel-good read. I received a complimentary copy of the book from the author but this honest review has been written from my own opinions.
"Christmas Miracle On Easter" is the third book in the Christmas Miracle Series. The overall theme is Jack's journey into learning to love, and dealing with the changes that this brings to his life. Part of my issue with this book is that it is very short. I felt that I had been dropped into a soap opera in the middle of the season, and I had a very hard time discerning who was related to whom. The characters were interesting, and the storyline held togther fairly well, but I felt that there was no clear beginning, and no clear ending. IMHO, each book in a series should be able to act as a standalone, and I do not feel that we are getting that here. Also, for a man in his 40's, I felt that Jack was very immature.
I didn't read the first books in this sweet series, but think they might be looking into. The author takes readers into a special little town that loves holidays and into the people who live there. The story has a bit of a twisted ending that will peak interest as readers follow along and enjoy a miracle or two.
This is a sweet short story. Charlotte talks Jack into being the Easter Bunny for the small town. Then they throw a party at their house. Charlotte's son, Christian and Holly seem to be a couple. But have not told anyone yet. Then they announce their engagement @ Jack's house. But something isn't setting well with Charlotte. Will it be a happy wedding? You will need to continue with these books to find out.
