A brilliant start and a little progressive writing craft make this an interesting thriller, but its page count exceeds the story.

I read this book about 12-15 years ago and loved it. The setting was at a Hawaiian resort with a terroristic group taking the vacationers as hostage. The descriptions were vivid with good character development.

My grandfather wrote this book in 1985. Re-read it on a recent trip to Hawaii. Good beach read.
