Another quick, steamy read from Alexa Riley! In this one though there was more of a story line to it than just hot sex! As always, I enjoyed the low angst that I have come to expect with this author’s books. These stories are best when I need a light quick read!

Bee the heroine was seriously naïve but within the framework of this novella it worked, a longer book and I may have ended up banging my head. The hero is dangerous, protective and possessive – just as you would expect from an Alexa Riley hero, but I don’t know I just didn’t feel this novella.
Brandon (Bee’s future brother-in-law) was a douche/dirtbag from the get go, and needed a sucker punch (I know violent, but I was in one of those moods as I read this). Melina, the heroine’s sister was also a seriously unlikeable character.
Bee’s dad was a smug ass, and the ease at which he was eager to sell his daughter – ick. Then there was the mother, her maternal feelings for Bee were non-existent – seriously these parents needed to be ejected into space.
I don’t know what it was, but this was one Alexa Riley book that did nothing for me. I found myself disconcerted and frowning heavily due to the secondary characters and how things played out. Overall, this book was missing the usual energy of Alexa Riley’s work.
Luckily, I have no buyer’s remorse thanks to acquiring this via KU.

It’s no secret that I am a massive Alexa Riley fan and this duet just create magic with their books and this one was a little different than their usual fair although you get all the insta love you can handle this story is also one I would label as a slow burn love too.
Bea has been overlooked by her family her whole life with all the attention focused on her older sister Melina and especially now as she is getting married the family life revolves around her completely, until their parents spend a night away and Melina wants to spend some time alone with Brandon her fiancé. That’s the night that she meets the dark and enigmatic Ragnar, she is pulled and drawn to him from the start and it’s not long before she can’t imagine her life without him in it. Is it possible that she would be worthy of this man’s attention?

It was ok I guess. I loved the heroine because she was pure and innocent but I definitely couldn't relate to her hatred for her sister. I adore my sisters and brother so that was very weird to me! lol

I always enjoy a quick read by Alexa Riley but this one missed a certain spark for me that usually work for her other OTT novellas.Ragnar and Bee were a cute HEA couple,i enjoyed their epiluges more than the story itself.

While I liked this book it just felt like something was missing.
The story itself was okay. Bee is the innocent sweet sister. Melina is the older “beautiful” bitch of a sister. She’s marrying her perfect match Brandon. These two truly deserve each other in every way.
Bee meets Ragnar and of course it’s love at first sight. Ragnar isn’t a good man but then he isn’t a bad one either. What he is is rich and he wants Bee and will do anything to get her.
As you can imagine Melina isn’t happy that someone as rich and handsome as Ragnar is interested in her sister.

Es una verdadera lastima que la historia entre las paginas de Kissing Her no este a la misma altura de la hermosa portada.
La trama ( si podemos llamarlo asi ) no es nada sorprendente, es demasiado precipitada e irreal, ademas de tener una pareja protagonista sosa y plana.
Quizas si las autoras hubiera profundizado un poco mas en la historia ( especialmente la parte de la familia de Bee ) y en la motivacion de los personajes podian haber creado una novela agradable, pero como no lo hicieron, solo encontre un relato corto e inverosimil que no recordare dentro de unos dias.
Muy muy flojo y prescindible.

Loved loved loved this one! It was just so incredibly sweet and amazing. I seriously can't get enough of the "Cinderella" trope. Though Alexa Riley's hero wasn't exactly a price he treated the heroine like royalty like always which was just super swoony amazing.
Don't let this sweet cover fool you - this was the usual hotness that you can expect from these authors!

Firstly, great MC names.
A well oiled AR trope with an innocent naive heroine with ugly duckling complex, a bad boy protective hero, a chance meeting, evil uncaring family, a rape attempt, a fight, a claiming and HEA.

I really enjoyed Ragnar and Bee’s story. Alexa Riley knows how to deliver a sweet and sexy insta love story! While Ragnar was not a very good man he was willing to change and be everything to his sweet Bee!

Another win from AR.... Ragnar is a criminal and has no regrets. Bee is the “ugly duckling” in her family and just wants a way out. When they meet one night by chance, Ragnar knows he has to find a way to make her his forever no matter what. Can Bee escape her family and all the hate? Can Ragnar create a safe place for Bee to always come home too?? Of course they can. It wouldn’t be an AR book otherwise!!!

I hated the other books from Alexa Riley that I read but this one... this one was cute idk
I hate insta love but this one felt warm, cosy and honestly made me smile at how sweet and cute it was. Bee is naive but in a way that makes her somewhat adorable and idk she deserves everything that happens in this book
I think I liked it because it had way more plot and a real storyline than all the other books i read from this author, so overall 4 stars for the cosy read ✨

Ragnar ha conseguido todo lo que tiene ilegalmente, pero en el momento en el que conoce a Bee sabe que ella es la única cosa legal que podrá hacer en su vida.
Ay me encantan son tan dulces. Además este libro se centra muy poco en el sexo y más en la historia aunque es súper cortita. Me dio mucha pena Bee su familia es un completo asco sobre todo su hermana y su madre... Que digo, en realidad son todos un asco el padre que solo la quería por el dinero que sacaría al venderla 🤦 madre mía lo que tenía que leer. En fin, menos mal que apareció Ragnar (que con ese nombre no pude dejar de imaginarme a ya sabéis quien 😍) y la salvó como el hombre monísimo que es ❤️

These two! OMG. I loved Ragnar, he was everything and more. His attraction to our heroine Bee was instant. But his protectiveness towards her simply was beautiful. He sees what others haven’t or have chosen to ignore.
Her freaking sister and her family, I hated them with a passion. The cruelty she’s been shown is nothing short of abuse.
When Bee first meets Ragnar I loved that she subconsciously recognised that he meant her no harm. She was shy and a little nervous but that was it.
The steam factor is a given with these two. It was sexy, sweaty and passionate.

I’ve been in a huuuuuge book slump and usually Alexa Riley’s books wouldn’t be in my propriety list to get out of one. But since I basically DNF 4 books this month for not holding my attention, I decided to google best romance novellas and that's how I got here.
As these types of novellas go, and from what little I have read from this author, this was quite good. It wasn’t a hump fest and it made sense especially for the heroine to behave as she did given her situation. I liked that Bee had grown up absolutely sheltered and had a ugly duckling cinderella complex. The hero was very... non-descript and his only trait was his devotion to Bee, the heroine.
I think what I liked the most was that it was a quick and cheesy read, with a good pacing, and an actual story. It's one of those guilty pleasures in which you are actually rooting for the characters.
Another plus is that I had expected Ragnar to be more of an extreme character, maybe even an asshole, while in reality he was very respectful of Bee and wanted to do right by her, which was nice.
I will not be rereading and it definitely will not be a top read, but I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that I got through it without cringing or hating the characters.

I received an Advance Reader Copy of the book. This is my honest and voluntary review.
From the tension in Bee's family, to the sweet meet cute between her and Ragnar, to the way he treated her with the utmost care from the very beginning, and to the way he defended her with a fierceness when it really counted - I just loved this book from beginning to end. Bee's family's background was a unique approach from the writing duo that I thoroughly enjoyed and I tend to really like books where the family serves as the big antagonist and we got that in spades here. I also really liked that Kissing Her is a little bit of a slow burn even though there is definite instalust involved. This is probably one of my favorite Alexa Riley books to date and I will definitely be reading it over and over again! 4 out of 5 wine glasses.

I love this kind of stories. Sweet and nice Bee has a shitty family, that makes her feel less and unworthy. But then Ragnar comes into her life and everything changes. He's possessive cavemen, who's ready to do anything to own Bee and to give her the world. Ragnar just is amazing.
The only disappointment was, Ragnar reactions, after the shit Bees sister did. Don't get me wrong, he reacted well, I just mean that the whole family got away too easily.
