Fate has forced me down a twisted path. When I think it can’t get any worse, it reminds me that it can, pushing me into a thick, thorny maze and leaves deep, irrevocable scars.

My will to fight has taken hit after hit, that burnt-out fire leaving only embers to scorch those closest to me. My fears and demons rage inside me, destroying everything … including the man who loves me more than anything.

A hidden surprise and new danger brings Aiden back into my life, and he’s just as cocky and gorgeous as when we first met. My body jolts back to life the second we lock eyes, but I’m not ready for those sparks to fly. Can we put aside our feelings and work together to find a killer before it’s too late?

Will Fate allow me enough time to heal and glue back the pieces of my life before it decides I need more excitement? No matter what it throws my way, I’ll survive. Right?

Let me start of by saying that you have to read Fate Hates first to be able to grasp the complete story. Otherwise you will be lost and believe me, that is not something you want to be ;-)

Like the last sentence in the Prologue read, " Today, I'm just trying to survive", well that's how I felt when reading the continuation of Aiden and Addison's story.

Be warned that there were some things that happened to Addison that were hard to read and I had to put the book down and regroup myself. Addison's determination and resilience had me rooting that she could avenge herself and get her HEA. Can Addison be the old her or is she completely broken? Can she love again? Can she survive herself?

I will say this, Aiden's love is stronger than it was before and his sexy alphaness had me swooning. Hi love for Addison was just beautiful!! Oh and cutie pie Lexi, aka Tator-Tot, she melted my heart <3 This is 5 Stars for me!!

Oh well...
After almost 90% of the book was dedicated to the process of healing and coping with the gruesome vile humiliation and devastation of a woman's body ( aka the main female character being kidnapped and tortured) and when she finally gets on the right track, mentally, physically and emotionally with the man she loves and who loves her back, it ends in such a cliffy that has knocked me of my feet..cause what in the actual fuck?!

It makes no sense...

Where did that come from and why?!

I guess we'll find out in book 3

even better that book 1

Book 2 is a good bit better than book 1. 4.75 stars ⭐️
The story is gritty, suspenseful and sexy. This one kept me on the edge most of the way through. The story is moving along a good pace for the series. My only issue is with a few details that didn’t really feel like they got enough attention, as well as some details being a little too predictable. I would have loved to see more of the forensic cases that Addison and Aiden are working on. Hopefully that will be in future books in the series.

"Maybe instead of hating you, fate is helping you heal."

Fate Heals picks up right were Fate Hates left us. It's a quick paced start into this book which makes your heart ache, breaks your soul and put tears into your eyes. What Addison has to endure during her capture is soul breaking and I admire her bravery working through her recovery. Furthermore I admire how Aiden handles her rejection. He's got the patience of a saint and proves his deep love to Addison over and over again.

"Time will heal my mind. Aiden will heal my heart."

""I need more than a minute," I murmur, pulling back, gazing into her eyes. "How about forever?" she whispers."

I love the way how Tina built in twists and turns of fate. Fate is truly unpredictable and has it's own ways to lead us where we need to be. That's where a little 5 year old angel was added to the scene. Lexi is too adorable to be true. It's simply not possible not to fall for her. The reason why she comes into Addison's life is again a heartbreaking one, but again fate has it's own plans. And I love the way both girls help each other heal.

Fate Heals is an adorable sequel to Fate Hates and I had so much fun reading it, even though it broke my heart over and over again.

"Addison, I want to be your partner, your lover, your everything as long as I'm yours. The first chapter of our love story was dictated by fate. Let's write the rest of it ourselves."

Fate Heals is the second book in the Twist of Fate series, so indeed I'll nag and say, that you MUST read Fate Hates first! Now I really LOVED book 1, as it exploded out of the gate, but this story was taken up to new levels of awesome. It starts right back up where Book 1 ended, and it was heartbreaking to say the least. Addison is broken into pieces, to the point of not wanting to see her love, Aiden. Which has her heart in pieces, not to mention Aiden isn't doing too well with it either. New surprises, and dangers, are the catalyst to bring them back together, but it's a slow process, as life's challenges haven't always been kind to Addison. That's all I'm giving in description. This story turned up the angst up to new levels of emotional, and I'm not ashamed to say that my eyes didn't merely leak, they full on flooded as I cried like a b*tch baby. By this point, the uber talented Tina Saxon has me fully immersed into her world, and Addison is like my friend in real life. So I cried with her, got mad on her behalf, and basically just cheered her on. And Aiden, he's a mouth watering hot man with a huge heart that made mine hurt when he hurt. New secondaries have been added, which added some very needed humorous moments to make me laugh through the tears. Plus, more diabolical twists & revelations came out of the woodwork that blindsided me, so yes, the loud f-bombs kept coming, ending was another cliffy that had me insane, which was crazy since I have all three books, but I was still off my rocker in between the few minutes it took to pull book 3 up. This insanely addictive Twist of Fate series has kept me on the edge of my seat for two days, (I have done nothing else but devour Addison & Aiden's story), so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Dear Tina Saxon,
You’re my new favorite author.

Seriously, can this series get any better?
description

My little summary (trying really hard not to spoil any shit):

Just when Addison thinks that it cannot get any worse. Hhaha! Fate just slap her and prove her wrong. She went through every shitty scenario that could ever cross my mind. With more suspense in her life, and more danger; Can Aiden be enough for her through her these unfortunate events? Will fate allow them to find their way back to each other?

Guys! It is so much more than just a love story! It’s about survival, friendship, family.
I really needed this book to help me through this part of life. It was like a message for me, that I can get through anything, just like Addison did 
Aiden and Addison never fail to put a smile on my face with their passion and love, and stubbornness.

“The depth of his words reach deep inside me, his love encompassing my fractured heart, sending pulses through it to wake it the hell up. Any doubts that I have about Aiden start to shred, piece by piece. This man in front of me, who is handing himself to me without any reservation, is the breath I need to help me heal. I can’t live without it. I can’t live without him.”

I absolutely loved the songs they sent to each other, I have a whole playlist on my phone right now, and it’s absolutely amazing. Because come on you guys, you know a book is amazing when it includes songs, right?

“Music has a way of touching places that are hidden inside of us. It evokes forgotten memories. It can turn the simplest action in our daily life into a major one. It rouses feelings. It can make you love. It can make you hate. The effect that music has on our mind is amazingly profound.”

I usually don’t like to read about kids in novels, I don’t know, it was kind of boring to me, but LULU!! She’s the cutest kid ever! I loved everything about, and how they all always want to get her what she wants, hahahah that was really funny.

And Aiden’s bestfriends, boy! Talk about extreme hotness.

description

“I throw my head back on the seat, looking up at the clear blue skies. I can’t think of one emotion that I haven’t had in the last couple hours. Lust. Fear. Pain. Guilt. Anger. Excitement. Love. Nervousness. To say she owns me is an understatement.”

And that's exactly how i was feeling reading this book, so much emotions, and i enjoyed every one of them xxo

Another amazing book by Tina Saxon!!! This book had so much happening that I couldn't put it down! I love how despite everything thing that Addison & Aiden have been through, they are still strong characters! I loved getting to see more of the secondary characters and how they all interact! I can't wait to see where their stories go as well! This book has it all (suspense, romance, with a few dark moments!) Tina wrote this book with another crazy ending that left me hanging and begging for answers! Bring on book 3!!!

I started reading this book as soon as I had finished the first book in this trilogy! The first book was left at quite the cliff-hanger, so I couldn't wait to continue the characters story! After reading this book, I can say that I loved it just as much as the first book! This book did have a different feel to it than what the first book did, and it was definitely a bit of a darker read! There was also a particular scene near the beginning that I did find difficult to read! The plot was also developed at the perfect pace and a lot happened in it! I also found myself unable to put it down until I had finished reading it! There were some action and suspense scenes too! These scenes added a lot to the plot and allowed for some twist and turns! There were quite a few twist and turns that I didn't see coming, so I was left surprised! The romance was still in this book too, but it was slightly strained! There also weren't as may hot scenes as what there were in the first book, but this was understandable! The characters were again amazing and made this book even better! Addison was again the main female character, and in this book my heart completely went out to her! She went through a traumatic and horrible situation and I could completely understand why she was left feeling disconnected and not herself! This caused her to push away the people that cared about her, especially her love interest! Addison pulled through though and she tried her best to look forward! I really admired this about her! Like the first book, I connected with Addison all the way through this book too! Aiden was again the main male character and love interest of Addison! I adored Aiden a lot in this book! He was so loving towards Addison and he never gave up on them as a couple, even though they did go through some issues! Aiden also went through a lot in this book and he had a bit of a road to recovery, but he refused to let it hold him back! Aiden was also again very protective of Addison and this was completely understandable after what she had been through! Addison really wanted him to not be as protective though lol! I loved that this book was written from both Addison and Aiden's point of views like the first book was! It helped me connect more with both characters, especially since they spent some time apart, and it allowed for a lot more things to happen in the plot! The majority of this book was written from Addison's point of view like the first book was, but I completely understood why it was! I also can't wait to read the next book in this trilogy! I'm really sad that it's the final book, but I can't wait to find out how Addison and Aiden's story is going to end! I'm going to hopefully take my time reading it so that it lasts longer lol! I'm really happy that it's already released because it means that I can make it my next read! I also love the cover for this book! Like the cover for the first book, it makes more sense after you read the book! I did think that the cover would be slightly darker image on it because of what happens in the plot though!

Another thrilling and intense read from Tina Saxon.
This story continues on from Fate Hates, Saxons book one in the Twist of Fate trilogy.
If your after flowers and chocolates, this book isn't for you...the only way I can describe it is...Beautifully Broken!!
From the moment you start reading Saxon takes you on a journey of heartache, suspense, romance and drama that will eat away at your soul and leave you in tears. This book enhances every emotion you ever felt from Fate Hates and doubles it.
Addison endures many things during her capture, but can she over come the scars she is left with emotionally....Will she allow Aiden close enough for her to see his love is real and runs deep....
Two people, pulled in so many directions, and again the twists and turns continue.
I found that the secondary characters held more influence in this book than its predecessor and gave you more of an insight into there relationships with both the main characters and others in the story.
I doubt anyone could  resist little Lexie...she is just gorgeous and will melt your heart, and as a secondary character she really stands out.
Saxon has drawn me in, and made me a little emotional again, a fantastic story and one you won't want to miss.

This is the 2nd book in this amazing trilogy, and I never thought I would say it, but if possible, this one is even better than the 1st. Addison and Aiden have been through so much, yet they are still strong, and I loved the banter with all of the characters. This story has suspense, drama, and plenty of romance, and I was captivated from the very beginning. Wow, what an ending!! I cannot wait to read the next book!

First, let me start by saying you MUST read Fate Hates before trying to read Fate Heals. If not, you will be seriously lost!

Can Addie survive being kidnapped and abused? Even if she does, will she ever be the same? Can Aiden and Addie work through the fate that brought them together?

I am giving Fate Heals 5 stars! I have loved Aiden and Addie since Fate Hates, and the addition to Lexi to this book was fantastic. I think despite a horrible tragedy, fate put her in the path of someone who needed her. Max is one of my favorite secondary characters, as well as now Ryker. If you are looking for a great romantic suspense and one that will keep your attention from page one, you need to read Fate Heals!

Wow! This book had me going through every emotion! I don't want to say too much and give anything away because I seriously think you should just go in blind to truly expereience it! But I will say that it was even better than the first book and I didn't think that would be possible! I love all the secondary characters and can't wait to see what happens next! I have questions that need answers! August can't get here fast enough! I need book 3!

Will Aiden and Addison ever catch a break? This was the question I kept finding myself asking as I read this advanced reader copy of Fate Heals. This book was filled with so much love and struggle and I found myself sad when it ended. I wanted more! So many questions left; what happens next? Will they ever find that happiness they each want? Will they become a family with Lexie by their side? She is such a cute young girl! It's funny because I can picture each of the characters in my mind and, man, oh man, Aiden is super hot!! This is second book in this series and I can definitely see where this series would make a great movie. It is filled with action, love, and of course hot scenes in the bedroom. I would definitely recommend this book. It deserves the five stars! I can't wait to read the next saga.

Just when I thought the first book couldn't be beat, the second book just threw me into a whirlwind! You will be saying "just one more chapter before bed", and guess what, the next thing you know, it's 2 in the morning and you still can't put it down. This book will have you laughing and crying and thinking what else can possibly happen to Addison and Aiden? Haven't they been through enough? If these two can make it through the first two books, they can make it through anything! I am dying for the 3rd book and NEED IT NOW! Oh, and can I get an Aiden in real life?! I mean really, can he be any hotter?

Addison finds herself kidnapped again. After learning more about the man who killed her mother and visiting Travis in jail Addison let her guard down. A new danger brings Aidan back into Addison’s life. There was a rescue, a healing process, and a little girl named Lexi.
In book 1 Addison thought fate hated her, however book 2 served as a reminder that some people have more to go through in life. Her life is defined by her ability to survive trauma.

Overall:
This book is an extension of book 1 with Addison captured. For a Forensics agent she spends more time in captivity than in a lab solving cases.
The push n’ pull is present almost the entire time. Addison has a new reason to tack onto why she shouldn’t be with Aidan. Aidan has to find a new way to convince Addison that they should be together. In between all the trauma, healing, and push n’ pull I found a few good scenes.
The writing style is the same with too many details crowding the storyline.

Addison’s character is in a different mindset than book 1. She’s at a place where she can heal her mind, body, and soul. Her kidnapping wasn’t like before.
The timeline is once again an issue. Sometimes time is referenced and other times it’s not. I need consistency with my timeline.
Eventhough I read book 1 I’m still having a hard time keeping track of all the characters. The minor characters overcrowd this story. The comradery with friends was too extensive. It seemed these introductions was a way for Tina to create more storyline for more books.
Addison’s job as a Forensic’s agent hasn’t really been discussed properly. Her job was mentioned briefly in book 1, but she didn’t have very many scenes. I thought she worked in the lab not in the field.
This book focused on Addison working through an emotional trauma. While some of the methods Tina wrote about were excellent ways to cope I’m not convinced that Addison managed her emotions well.
I loved the premise of this storyline not what happened to Addison, but what happened after. I just wish the execution was different. Once again Tina uses too many details which crowds the plot. I resorted to skimming just to knock out the unnecessary details.
The romance overshadowed the suspense. I had preconceived ideas about this story being a suspenseful romance, but I hadn’t expected the romance to dominate the story.
Driven by drama...drama...drama. If you like jealous characters, ex’s showing up unannounced, best friends hitting on friends, or celebrity friends then you are in for a wild ride. I’m done with the over-the-top unrealistic plotlines. I want a story where I can connect with the characters not these shallow characters.
Hold up wait a minute...let’s reread this sentence, “The past year and a half, I’ve been nothing but tested.” That cliffhanger ending about Jessie isn’t a possibility. A year ago they were walking on the beach together. I’m not buying into the drama. It’s a ploy. He chased her for a year never giving up even when he thought he should move on.

Before diving in to book two, I did read the reviews on Amazon and Goodreads, and was a little apprehensive about what to expect! As a lover of all genres and enjoying the darker more twisted storylines I wasn’t put off by what I read in the reviews, so got stuck in.
Book two in the series picks up where we left off, straight away you are thrown into the dark and disturbing world of a scorned man, because that is what Addison’s captive is, yup you notice I don’t say who it is, no spoilers here…I hope. I understand what other reviewers said about not needing all the details of the abuse Addison faced, but I think the author did a fantastic job portraying the depravity that she faced and the sick pleasure that her captor took from abusing her mentally and physically. Yes it was hard to read and on occasion I had to stop to remind myself that it wasn’t real, but it helped to explain the behaviour of Addison later in the book - her stubbornness and triggers and her need to protect herself and those who cannot protect themselves. Aiden, oh boy, my heart hurt so much for him in this book. He couldn’t do right for doing wrong. He suffered right alongside Addison, and then more because of her refusal to let him help her. I loved that no matter what they went through he was true to his heart. This book sees the introduction of a new character, and boy was she the icing on the cake. She, along with Tony and his kicka$s attitude are what started the proper healing process for Addison, and she also helped Aiden and Addison mend some bridges too.
Another book full of emotional highs and lows, and laughs to help you along the way! And as I have come to expect from this author, yet another cliff-hanger, argh, but hey, one-click and I am on to the final book in this addictive trilogy

This is probably on par with the first book in the series for me. I don’t hate it, it’s definitely not a bad book, I’m just not loving it. I want to like Aiden and Addison, but something just isn’t clicking for me. I feel like Aiden is so much more smitten with Addison, and instead of it coming across as charming and yearning, I am just finding it a bit too clingy. Add the fact that he always seems to think so sexually towards and about her, it’s just a bit excessive for me personally. And as for Addison, I don’t feel her love for Aiden at all. She can tell us she loves him, but I just don’t fee it. It always felt, at least to me, that she had one foot out of the door. Aiden and their relationship never really feels like priority for her. And at the start of this book, that’s completely understandable. She is dealing with some trauma and needs time to heal. But that doesn’t mean she had to push Aiden away or be cruel. I don’t really feel like we got a proper apology for that. And then through the rest of the book, they are trying to work things out but like I said, something for me just isn’t clicking. I’m so much more interested in Damon and Sydney and Max and their whole situation. The cliffhanger drama we were left with in book 1 was resolved here, and then the other drama that unfolds in this one was quite anticlimactic to be honest. And then of course, we’re left on a cliffhanger again here. But given that I have already read Wedded Chaos, I do already know some plot points and spoilers so I’m not too worried. I just hope we don’t see Addison once again retreat from Aiden and not believe him and push him away again. I want her to stand by her man and fight for their relationship. So we’ll see what happens in the next book.

The trilogy "Twist of fate" by Tina Saxon was a nice read. But it had too many hiccups for me to give it more than 3 stars.

The idea and the storyline were very interesting. But at times it looked too construed to be real fate. The characters also started out very interesting.

At times the books dragged, with not very interesting interludes. May it be suspense, humour or relationship problems. There were many boring parts. Which could have been easily avoided.
The characters also had their ups and downs. The more the story progressed, the main male character Aiden, was left behind and too pussy whipped for my liking, without standing his ground. The focus was too many times on the main female character, Addison. Although it was also told in the POV of Aiden. Which leads us to the heroine, Addison. For my liking, at times she was too immature and self-centred, especially in the second book. Although we are told otherwise numerous times. Not only the strokes of fate but also some relationship problems felt construed. I just find it useless to read about problems, only occurring because of the lack of communication between the two main characters in such a manner, as it is told in this book.
Additionally the emotional problems took up a lot of time in the beginning and while the protagonists suffered, but the solutions or compromises where given in a blink of an eye.

Last but not least, it is a very american book. Not in a bad way, but this explains a lot of the occurring problems and the behaviour, actions and reactions.

All in all a nice read. But there are a lot of better books out there, in this genre.

Okay

I didn’t enjoy this as much as it’s predecessor. I adored Aiden and Addison in Fate Hates, but it was tiresome to constantly trawl through Aiden’s bouts of jealousy and Addison’s acts of selfishness/immaturity. I think Aiden deserved better, even though Addison’s character had been through hell. I felt at times that they were polar opposites of the characters I had grown to love. Most of the suspense occurred in the first half of the book. Therefore, the second half dragged with a lot of filler. I realise the author was introducing threads for further books, focusing on the other characters, but I thought it was a distraction and left me a tad bored in places. I really think that their story would have been better as a duology. This does end on a cliffhanger and whilst the reviews for the next book indicate it is much of the same, I am invested enough in the characters to carry on.

This is the second book in this series and it starts right off from where book one ended. I love when a writer does that. This one starts with Addison missing and Aiden in the hospital once again. This one was just as good as the first one . It takes you on the journey that is Addison and Aiden. It takes you through them fighting to overcome and beat fate. I absolutely loved the added addition in this book of Lexi the little girl that Addison takes care of. That little girl not only heals her but brings such a great addition to this book. I cant stand Jessica in this book. She is one character that you just hate. But it is a needed character none the less. This is a well written second book to a great series. I loved being able to go further into this journey of Addison and Aiden.

The second book of the series steps up the action and intrigue and a little angel takes over wrapping everyone around her little fingers. As Addison heals so does she assist with the healing of another. Not such a hater of fate these days Addison is no longer someone I want to choke but someone I can embrace and watch grow. There is plenty of action and fun times by this group and a stronger storyline to keep you engaged. This author has great style and successfully breathes life into this trilogy with twists, a great strong plot and plenty of antics by friends and each other. Great book! Great series! I can't wait to see what happens next.

Ugh another cliffhanger, that said I absolutely loved the book. This book had my emotions all over the place. This book picks up where the first ended. It was heart wrenching to read what Addison endured and what Aiden went through. After that was resolved, it gutted me that she pushed Aiden away. God she is a stubborn one, I understood some of her reasoning but my heart hurt for Aiden as well.
Eventually we see things resolved and they find their way back to each other. After a few bumps things seem to be falling into place and then we get that cliffhanger. I’m dying to jump into the next book.
