Freja Larsen is at the top of her game: she’s an award-winning TV ad producer, she’s a senior creative in London’s hottest advertising agency, and she’s the life and soul of every party. She's far too busy with her fantastic career and fabulous friends to dwell on the fact that, eight years ago, she let the love of her life go to protect him from a devastating truth.
Nate Klein is now a millionaire businessman and TV star, not that Freja’s keeping track. He’s also Tribe’s newest and biggest client. And, Freja can’t help but notice, he’s still as heart-meltingly gorgeous as ever ...
But Nate believed the lie that tore Freja away from him all those years ago. As Freja is forced to confront the consequences of her silence, she can’t help but wonder what could have been if she’d only dared to fight for the man she loved. Is now, after all this time, the moment to find her voice?
The Agency series is based in London and set in the exciting world of advertising. Following the intertwined lives of a group of kickass career women, the series is a heartwarming mix of angsty romance and laugh-out-loud humour. Each book is numbered chronologically in the series, but every title is a complete story in its own right.
FRIENDLY NOTE: All of Elizabeth’s books feature realistic characters who do things real people do (like have sex) and say things real people say (like drop f-bombs).
This was a strange one. The writing style was fresh and engaging but the huge cast of characters was bewildering; I really struggled to remember who was who. This book is part of a series so I suppose that's what happens when you dip into a multi series book half way.
Once I'd got over that, the second part of this was all about frustration for me. You know when a character aggravatingly refuses to say the thing that will resolve the entire fucked up, dramarama situation because, uh, reasons? Yeah, that. Grrrrr.
I have read all of The Agency series now and am eagerly awaiting the next book, Forever You. Elizabeth Grey's novels are clever, funny and down to earth.
Featuring strong female characters and supportive men, this series is exactly what Women's Fiction should be. I'm not going to refer to it as Chicklit as that sounds demeaning to me and a bit last century.
Elizabeth is a talented author, with a good eye for detail and plot.
The relationships are believable, be that romantic or the bonds between friends.
I'm looking forward to reading more from this author and hope I don't have to wait long.
Its a nice cover isn't it? Bright, sunny, lighthearted.Well you must be thinking that it is a funny light hearted rom-com with a dashing hero and a sassy heroine. Let me tell you that its cover is the only lightherated sunny and bright thing abou this book. The rest is just-WoW. So if you have read the previous books by Elizabeth Grey then you certainly have come around Freja. Freja works as a director in the advertising agency. She has come a long way from the twenty something aspiring actress who fell in love with the handsome rich son of Lord klein,Nate.Nate and Freja knew they were "the one" for each other after just two weeks they spent when Nate visited L.A.But Nate's father was opposed to their match so he drugged Freja and made a random guy sleep with her(this gave me sudders). He photographed the harassed girl and blackmailed her into breaking up with Nate, thus leaving a heartbroken Freja. He later showed the pictures to Nate too for further precautions. I have to say that Freja is a survivour. She is like a pheonix rising from the ashes of her past. Losing the love of her life did not broke her. She made a successful career, made wonderful friends and never looked back. Untill Nate came back into her life so did his father, that is. And the story follows what happened afterwards. I am not gonna say much but Freja won my heart. The girl is clever, intuitive, strong and made a complete joke of Lord Klein. It turns out that Nate's father is an adulterer,a rapist and a harasser. This book conveys a very important message that people like Lord Klein exists. Also they are the ones who are the law maker of the country. They are everywhere in the society. But so does people like Freja who protests. The only regret I have is Lord Klein not being recognised for the complete joke of a human being that he is. Its a shame truly!well another novella is coming out in JULY. Hopefully I get to see more of Nate and Freja togather🤞If you like strong heroines, amazing girlfriends, once in a lifetime romance and sizzling hot chemistry, you should definately check out this one. It won't dissapoint and you may get a new book boyfriend who has GQ looks and beats his own dad to pulp😉

Second Chance by Elizabeth Grey This is the third book in The Agency Series 💙 In the last book It's Complicated, i absolutely loved Freja's character and wanted to read her story. This book met all my expectations and did not let me down. Omg! It is just WoW.. Freja is sassy, intuitive, ambitious and a survivor. She won my heart. She is a director in the advertising agency. Nate is handsome TV actor and creator of BuzzPay. He is the past she has kept hidden. What happens when they cross paths?? Read this story to find out. Friends like Violet, Ethan are someone who should be there in your life. The author has sent out a good message with this story about how women are treated and how depression is a topic which people don't talk about. I really liked this book, it kept me thinking what will happen next. I recommend this to be read, not just this but the entire series.
I was really excited to read about Freja’s story and I adored this book! It was great to continue to see Violet and Ethan in the book too.
Freja was a great character, I love her fierceness and how she is great at her job. She is strong and has been through a lot. Nate was well incredible and I loved how down to Earth he was. Eight years ago they were torn apart by lies, which Nate’s dad played a massive part in. Now they are thrown together for work and all the feelings are still there.
It was nice to see Violet being a great friend to Freja and that they have each other’s back. My heart broke for the trauma that Freja went through.

I enjoyed the characters and the peek into their lives. This was not a sappy love story, it moved effortlessly but with some thought provoking content.
This book was different from the other two first stories. Thank God I read book Freja first before I read this third series of the agency. This book was awesome and I felt sad for Freja and what happened to her. I hope these agency series can be put into movies.
I have not read a book where the characters are as real as in this book. Freja and her friends are hilarious, comical and real. They show the dating pitfalls we call relationships. They get drunk the night before, get up and go to work the next morning. Freja is the queen of ‘friends with benefits’ genre. No apologies.
Her front masked a past of humiliation and abuse from a man who wants to stop her from dating his son. It is a new low I have ever read.
Nate’ her lost love is a good man. A man not shy of showing his emotions. I love that. I also love how he knew something was awry in the story his father told him.
I enjoyed the ribaldry between Freja and her colleagues. The Danish and British slangs. What a jolly book to read in this perilous times. Lifted my spirit some. Cheers...
First I'll write about the things I liked about the book: +The London setting +Character Diversities +Different nationalities +Main character
I should also mention the things I didn't like: -There were a bunch of long dialogues that served no purpose -There wasn't any depth from the Male Lead -I was hoping to read from the male's lead pov in some parts of the story. -The decision to do nothing in certain topics
Overall it was fun and entertaining and free on Amazon!
I didn’t read the first 2 books but still really enjoyed this one. I enjoyed the whole book but the second half really had me wanting to stay up late to read it! It grabbed your attention and made you want to keep reading. I found the characters and storyline easy to follow even without the first 2 books.
Euw, I tried two times, but I just can't. The story is very detailed. I stopped reading at 20% and the MFC is yet to meet the billionaire. I mean they've been together for two weeks some 6 years ago, but now apparently he is to make a reappearance, but I have no patience to wait until all the work drama details are presented.
The book was fine, but I guess I’m not really into the advertising field because I couldn’t follow the story and the British slang kept throwing me off. I abandoned ship around chapter 3. I just couldn’t get into it.
She has hard evidence that a horrible person has hurt other women, but because her sex life may be used against her, she’s not gonna use it to help those women?
Hard pass on that. She’s not a heroine. She’s a joke.
Set in an advertising agency with a host of colorful characters, the story is both timely and compelling in this book. I just didn't like the characters. There wasn't a single character who didn't annoy me in some way, I'm afraid.
Clichê ruim, cenas hots horríveis. A duração é igual à do preparo de miojo, se é que vocês me entendem. E o final? Decepcionante, sem desfecho decente simplesmente pra ter um livro da versão do Nate. Péssimo.

I wanted to like this book but for some reason, the storyline and characters didn’t work for me. Not sure if I should’ve read the other books in the series first?
I enjoyed this story, there were a lot of characters and you got use to who they were and the comedy they bring! I enjoyed Freja and Nate’s story and all the was hoping for a re kindling!
