lol what a racket - the universe will make you rich if you want to be rich? Poor people are poor because they think like victims? If this mindset is what it takes to become a millionaire, I never want to be one.
This book is solidly ahead in the competition for "worst read of 2025". Thought I'd give it a shot after the unlikely recommendation of a friend, but boi was that misplaced trust.
Essentially, this book is a nefarious combo of several genres I personaly abhor: - get-rich-quick "guides" - grindset series - cheap ripoffs of Eastern spirituality
The cherry on top is that it manages to be particularly insignificant in each category. It disrespect interiority and spirituality and banalises it, in order to then claim it can make you rich (in 24 months' time, lol) through some voodoo, shady and, especially, extremely VAGUE steps. It even manages to give awful financial advice (which authors clearly disclaim, no wonder) along the way.
But what do I know? I'm a non-millionaire with a poor's mentality, after all!
This was a quick, condensed read explaining how society writes your brain a certain way, and to be rich (mentally, spiritually, physically, etc, not just financially), you have to rewire your mind.
For all the haters who don’t believe, here are my thoughts. I know nothing about scuba diving. If a scuba diver wrote a book explaining how scuba diving worked, and millions if people used this book to get certified and explore the shallow waters, and then I came along and said “this is stupid. What do you mean I have to slowly rise to the surface after an extended deep dive. There is air above the water. I’m just going to go breathe that.”, then I’d be in for a bad time.
If you put poison in your mind, your mind won’t grow.
Read accidentally instead of another book with the same name.
The books consists of different incredibly complicated wordings of the same statements written in a big font. I reread some paragraphs in places to be sure it was not just copy paste page after page - almost so.
It is very repetitive and even though the ideas are quite obviously correct, it reads like a very poor summary of different self help books created to make money.
I love the way MJ explains. He tell us the real shit not bull shit. He tells us his theory that he really uses it. I recommend that who are new too business to read this book to get an insight of how business works from a seasoned businessman perspective rather than theories and formulas.
I thought I was listening to a more well known book of the same name by a different author. This one has a new writer / amateur feel to it. I assume by it's popularity that the one I meant to read is better written.
