a very pretty and sweet introduction to reiki, in particular, self reiki. this book provides inspiration for meditation and introduces the basics of the many uses of self reiki. some details like the reiki principle "do not anger" i kinda disagree with, since it goes against the principle of affirmation that says that affirmations shouldn't be expressed in a negated sentence. also, i found the chapter on dry bathing not precise enough, as i needed to find other sources to understand what movements the author advises me to do. other than that, the book deliveres what it promises.
