I have been provided with a copy of A Hex Sister Cozy Mystery Box Set by the author for an impartial review. This box set has the following titles Witch Unleashed, Witchy Trouble, Witch Bait, Witchy Warning, Witch Hunt, and Witchy Past.

Witch Unleashed

This is the first book in the Hex Sister Cozy Mystery series and what a great way to start off a new series. I loved getting introduced to Venture Island and Tess Venture and the other amazing characters that go along with them. This book was just so easy to get lost in and can be read in one sitting. I can’t wait to read what happens next for this series and get to see more of Tess’s journey.

Witchy Trouble

This is the second book in the Hex Sister Cozy Mystery series and I wish these books were longer everything just happens so fast and I believe if the stories were longer it could develop at a slower pace and it would be better. In this book we are back with Tess Venture and we learn more about her and her family and we are introduced to some new characters along with a new town. I really enjoyed getting to reenter this world it was just a super quick read and I can’t to read the next book in the series.

Witch Bait

This is the third book in the Hex Sister Cozy Mystery series and this book was just so good. It was such a quick and easy read. I really enjoyed this story and getting to meet some new characters as well as getting to see some of the previous characters that I had met in earlier books. I really enjoyed getting to see what the current mystery is and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Witchy Warning

This is the fourth book in the Hex Sister Cozy Mystery series and in this book you get to see a different Hexford sister perspective in Georgia Fontaine. I really enjoyed getting to see Georgia’s point of view. It just gave more insight into her character and I also loved getting to meet some new characters that we haven't previously met. I just had a really fun time reading this book and getting to go along for the ride with Georgia. I can’t wait to see what next for this series and the Hexford sisters.

Witch Hunt

This is the fifth book in the Hex Sister Cozy Mystery series and it focuses on Margo and all the secrets she has been keeping. I just really enjoyed getting to reenter this world and continue this wonderful series. It is best to read the books in their reading order that way you won’t be confused. I have really enjoyed getting a look in to all the Hexford sisters and I was glad to see each of them have their own story. It just gives you a better glimpse into each of them and gives you a better understanding of their character. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Witchy Past

This is the sixth and final book in the Hex Sister Cozy Mystery series and we are back in Tess’s point of view. I was just sad to see this series come to an end. This was just such a quick and easy read that I finished it in one sitting. There was just so many twists and turns I just didn’t know what was going to happen next. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out what was going to happen next and I am extremely happy that everything has finally come full circle and the ultimate mystery has finally been solved. I just had a blast reading this book and the entire series. I hope the author will revisit this world and it’s great characters. I will really miss them and I am really excited to see what the author has in store for us next.

This whole box set was a delightful way to spend several hours. I really enjoy this author’s stories. When I need something uplifting and well written, any of Kate Allenton’s books are where I go.

Mystery witchy murder series

I had to see where this all ended. I was quite suprised. Some romance, pretty pg rated everything. Worth reading, I'm going to scope out Kate Allenton's other books

Loved each book in the box set - tried to guess who the killer was but got it wrong - didn't see the twist at the end.
