This book should have come with trigger warnings but didn't have any at all.
It twas full on twists and turns and lots of gore. It's not for the faint hearted and I found it difficult to read some parts of the book. I pretty much figured out who it was early on. Still a really good read.

Both of these romance/suspense/crime books were well written and really entertaining, with lots of twists and turns in the investigations and some action. Romance was lacking, so don't read it for that. Both books have been previously published under different titles.

You get two full-length thrillers in one exciting book! The first, SECRETS, is the story of Dr. CJ Patterson and her return to her hometown of Huntsville after the death of her sister. When the investigation shows that her beloved sister was murdered, CJ is determined to stay and find out who her killer was. Putting herself into the center of danger, CJ doggedly follows the clues. There is a lot of violence in this book and many unexpected twists. The second book, LIES, finds Sheriff’s Deputy Adeline Cooper returning to her hometown in Mississippi because she herself has received a threatening note from the person(s) who already took one woman. The books mesh together because Addy was the deputy who helped solve the murder of CJ’s sister. Now, in the second book, she is looking for the kidnapper (and possible murderer) at the same time that she is in the crosshairs of the villainous creep carrying out these crimes. Both women have past loves with whom they interact when they return home, so this interaction provides the romantic and sometimes sexually charged atmosphere. Anyone who has ever read Debra Webb’s books knows that the action is fast-paced and non-stop up to the very end. Those who enjoy thrillers and suspense with more than a touch of ooh-la-la romance will not want to miss out on this two-in-one deal!

SECRETS is about DR. CJ Patterson returning home to Huntsville after her sister is murdered. Of course, Braddock has to notify her and, refuse to leave her unprotected when she arrives because, the police believe that CJ may also be on the murderer's list! The heat between these two is off the charts but, the constant state of adrenaline overload and, one victim after another showing up will not allow you to put this book down! Thrilling, at times Horrifying, Devastating and, Non-stop==Don't make any plans until you've finished these two books!!!
LIES is About Detective Addie Cooper, a woman who has spent her adult life proving just how much of a hard nosed, fully competent cop she is, despite the fact that she's female.
Now, she has to go home to a place she hasn't been in years because, she was run out of town and, the love of her life deserted her when she needed him the most.
Wyatt is not the town Sheriff and needs Addie's help with the disappearance of 2 women who have received the same letters that she has received. This storyline has a deeply convoluted road that you must follow, in order to figure out exactly what's going on and, who's responsible!
Meanwhile, Wyatt is trying, desperately, to get Addie to understand that what he did years ago was to protect her. Addie doesn't agree!
This is another book that you should read in one sitting! Believe me, They are both worth the time!!!

This book was two books in one by Debra Webb and both book were excellent.
The first book Secrets was focused around Dr. CJ Patterson and her quest to solve the murder of her sister. This book I really enjoyed because it was full of suspense and had a really strong female lead. I loved CJ and how she would not let anything stop her from finding out who killed her sister even though she was faced with a some pretty tough things thrown at her. The romance in this book was also hot as well.
I did figure out some of the clues Webb left for the reader but I did love the end as well. secrets was a great read and I loved it from start to finish.
Lies, the second story in this book, was focused around Homicide Detective Adeline Cooper who the reader got to know in Secrets. In this book she was drawn back to her hometown when a killer has his sites set on her and has already kidnapped one woman and has promised one more before he comes for Addy. Addy is forced to go home and work with the man that she loved that betrayed her and return to the place where a number a people would like to see her dead.

So good! please read Webb's explanations about the the "bad side of town ". 2 thrilling books-book 1 is strong and gritty. Great character development and strong twisty plot! Book 2 is a spinoff using a secondary character from book 1 and a new location. Still strong but less grit, closer to other works from Webb. Great read, but not if you're sensitive to violence. It held my attention, and then some!

I like reading a book that has twists among characters and trying to figure out what will happen as the story develops makes it hard to stop reading. Debra Webb does this in her writing, anyone that enjoys trying to determine what will happen next will enjoy her books.

If you didn’t have a chance to read Everywhere She Turns and Anywhere She Runs when first published, now is your chance. Debra Webb never fails to captivate. Her characters and right on and the story drags you in so it’s hard to put the book down.

Two great thrilling suspense books in one from one of the best authors who writes so well ,once you start reading your pulled in from start to finish.Both have so much suspense it has thinking you may know what's going to happen then a twist , action and biting nails to see who done it and why.

This is actually called Secrets and Lies. It is 2 great full length thrillers in one book.
Secrets is about Dr. CJ Patterson going back to her roots to find the truth about who killed her sister. It keeps you guessing about who the real killer is among the suspects.
Lies is the second book that focuses on Detective Adeline Cooper, who we met in Secrets. She is drawn back to her hometown to help solve a mystery surrounding her family ties.
Both stories are great thrillers that keep you on the edge of your seat. You can't go wrong with any of Ms. Webb's books.

Debra Webb has a knack for leading you to think one way then all of a sudden another way. She weaves the suspense until you have to keep reading until you get to the end.
This is definitely a roller coaster ride from one character you are sure is the killer to another one whom you are sure has to be it.
Intense action that has you reading into the late hours.
CJ and Braddock are characters who you hope will have a happy ending.
