Wow! How do I sum up my life? .... Well, I'm a mother of Three little princes who light my life. A wife to a very patient husband who puts up with my hectic thinking. A tattoo loving, coffee drinking, wears her heart on her sleeve, incessant chatterer!
My love is writing and reading fiction. I have to sing! Like all the time... much to my families dismay.
As for being an Author, I seriously love and support body positivity, so I write flawed characters, plus size, curvy girls in chick lit, rom-com and contemporary romance! And soon Non-fiction! I spend way too much time on Facebook. I LOVE to chat with other readers and writers. So if you want to contact me send an email or catch me on Facebook!!
ONE DAZZLING TREAT!!! Man! Talk about one smoldering hot tale with a side of simmering delight! One entertaining storyline with a blazing plot that rocks this little jewel from start to finish. Sarah really brought out the heat in this tough as nails, on point realism that spins so intense, bursting with emotions bringing this gripping tale to life spectacularly. The tension is thick, the laughs plentiful, the chemistry palpable and the connection is skyrocketing. Twists and turns, ups and downs, along with a few glitches, bumps and bruises bring this baby together flawlessly. The characters are authentic, relatable and so realistic with depth and individualism that blend and flow smoothly. The scenes are so graphically descriptive it paints a wonderful backdrop that gives the illusion your right there in the middle of ground zero with them. Awesome job Sarah, thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.
This was a total delightfully written book with characters that you can relate to and the storyline was so much fun to read. Your lead male Jaxon is a little shy and he falls for the outspoken Callisto what takes place is a roller coaster of fun.

Jaxon Nelson just thought he was a little naive when it came to the ways of love until he met Callista one of his younger sisters best friends. Callista captivated him from the start and she wasn't too shy about it either. Callista saw that Cowboy Jaxon and new what insta - love was but overcoming trust issues might hurt their future. Great heartfelt read.
Jaxon and his family are due to open their newly revamped ranch, part of which will now be a retreat Center. His sister Haley brings a friend to help prepare for opening day, and both Jaxon and Callista have an immediate attraction. Jaxon hasn't been too successful with the ladies, as his last girlfriend left him for someone else, and he's a little shy. Callista is the opposite and complementary to him; she’s a woman who's not afraid to go after what she wants.
Will Jaxon get over his shyness and wariness with women? Will Callista fall for the cowboy?
Coming from a large family myself, I always enjoy stories that have a family twist to them. We have the Nelson brothers, four of them, plus one sister. There's a lot of gentle humor in this book—the kind that actually exists in large families—and in particular, I love the relationships and humor between the brothers. Girl power was not left behind, though, with Callista and Haley and their friend Jess. I love seeing these groups interact in both humorous and supportive ways, and I look forward to more books about this group of characters.
Oh, and I have to mention… the book appears well-edited. Worth mentioning, as it seems too rare these days!
I received a free copy of this book, but that did not affect my review.
This is one delicious story by the wonderful author, Sarah Gai, who I 'discovered' last year when I started reading about Sparkles and her gang of friends. If you haven't read any of them I great encourage you to try as they are great fun to read. Jaxon is Haley's brother and has had a reputation as a player with women in the past. But his heart was trodden on and crushed as he was dumped for another man so he's been keep keeping shy of women since and not dealing with deep emotions. Then he meets the feisty, Calista, who is all sassy and gorgeous and he can't believe his luck at the chance to get to know her. But she's wary of him as she doesn't like players. The lovely sweet thing that she learns about him is the 'secret' hobby that he shares with his Mum. Can one little white lie ruin their relationship forever?? I hope not as I loved this page turning book that is so well written [and edited]. This is the first of Haley's brothers we learn about and I look forward to reading them all. I loved this book and so I bought my own copy. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review. Most definitely recommended
Callista and Jaxon’s story is all too short. I wanted to read more about these loveable and quirky characters. Callista is a young, sexy child care worker who loves tattoos. She is a confident, competent woman who is not afraid to go after what she wants. In this case, what she wants is Jaxon. Jaxon is the hot bearded cowboy who sends her hormones in to overdrive and sets her heart aflutter. He is also her friend and employer’s brother. Both Jaxon and Callista feel the instant attraction, but she is the one who makes her intentions known first. Though he is shocked at first by her speed and her forthright attitude, he is definitely on board with her intimate plans. Soon both realize that feelings are involved too. Instant attraction has turned to love. When Jaxon tries to take their relationship to a new level he makes mistakes that could cost him the woman he loves. Read this highly entertaining book to see how Jaxon and Callista’s story develops.

Jaxson Nelson is a little on the shy and you could even call him naive and his confidence was severely dented when his previous girlfriend left him for another man Now with his family ranch about to open its retreat to the public it's all hands on deck and his sister Haley has even brought her friend Callista to help. When Jaxson and Callista meet the attraction is mutual and instant. With his shyness and her all in guns blazing attitude do they have any chance or will he run for the hills or is this strong take charge woman what he needs to make him finally fight for what he wants This is only a shortish story but is a great fun read never the less
Jaxon had been a park warden for over a decade but was starting a new venture with his brother Andrew, the Nelson Family Retreat. He also was going to work on the ranch. Callista was his sister’s friend who he met at the opening of the retreat. He was immediately enamoured with her. He had been set up.
This is a sweet contemporary romance filled with humour, family, friends and love. The characters are wonderful and set the tone for a great romance. This is about romance, love and forever. It’s a feel good book that touches your hear. It is a quick and easy read. So if you’re looking for romance, well give it a read.
This was a wonderful quick read. Jaxon is helping his family get their retreat up and running on their farm. All of the Nelson children are helping on the first weekend. In fact, Hailey is bringing two of her friends, Jess and Callista, along to help. Callista literally runs into Jaxon and it was love at first site.
This is written in my favorite dual POV format. I love that as I can connect with the characters so much better. This is a sweet, clean romance. The one bedroom scene was a fade out so there was nothing that should offend anyone.
If you are looking for a quick bookcation or a quick read during lunch, give this a try.
A sweet short country family story. Jaxon one 5, 4 boys and one girl. This is the first in the series of the brothers finding love. Jaxon 36 and single, not very good with the ladies never seems to know what to say. Callista 32 very upfront and outspoken, this often turns people off. She works with Jaxon sister in the childcare section of the store. Join them all at the ranch where they meet and start their journey.

Short Romantic Comedy. This is a cute, novella-length rom/com. There is lots of mild swearing and sex – none graphic. The tale is cute and it has no depth at all. There is little character development, no history of the ranch or the family at all. The reader is told a few things but nothing is developed enough to for opinions, let alone become emotionally invested. There is no meat on the bones about anything in the story. I received the ARC of this book for free from Booksprouts and this is my honest review.
Great characterizations. This is an off shoot series and continues on in the same vein as the original series "Sparkles Book Club". There is a real sense of community and strong family/friend bonds. The romance is sweet but the repartee between characters sure is sassy. Wonderful combination. Loved it! Next brother, please and thank you ...

Jaxon is ready to settle down but he hasn't met the one yet. Callista works for Haley who is Jaxon's sister. Haley asks Callista to help out at the opening of her brothers ranch retreat. Jaxon and Callista meet and the sparks fly. This story is romantic and funny. I enjoyed it.
I liked Jaxon & Callisto's story. Great characters. This was a fun book to read. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a copy of the book via booksprout.
