Heart of Glass
They call him Skittles because he inks his body with the colors he can't see. Enough colors to tell a story. Like a stained-glass window, the light only shines through when there is darkness. I'm a bit conflicted with this one - I love the whole idea of the series, the world building, the Fire Cats having to earn their cats back, the whole MINE mates thing. I love how patient and caring he was with her, loved that! What I didn't love so much was the lack of romance - where was the build to him winning and claiming her?
Where was Nyla, because honestly she could have been any female for all I got to learn about her. I didn't get why Skittles and Nyla, as main characters, are written in third person yet Felix (the arsehole) is a sub character yet takes centre stage quite often in first person. Huh? What was that all about?
I'll continue with the series and hope it gets back to the greatness of All Is Bright and Heart of Ice which were both 5 star reads.

3 underwhelmed stars.
First 3 books in this series got straight 5 stars and immediately went in my favorite shelf. This one... took a nose dive to 3 stars for a couple reasons.
1. This had the exact same plot as the first 2 books. Like... exactly the same.
2. A third of the book was dedicated to a different character that you assume will get his own book down the line. And his chapters were all in first person while the main couple was in third. Super confusing choice of writing style
3. The author wrote the characters, especially the heroine, to be very wishy washy with thoughts vs actions. You would read pages and pages and PAGES of inner monologue from the heroine telling herself one thing than deciding completely different the next moment.
I hope the next one is better because I wont continue with this series if they continue down the path of this book.

Gahhhh! Skittles gave me all the feels!
Skittles had me in a choke hold!
With lines like
“They say home is where the heart is, but that’s not right. Because my heart was locked away in a dirty basement for too long while I tried to find her. Naw, home is where you lay your head when you’re done fighting. It’s where you go when you need to feel safe. Home is your landing place. Your saving grace. Your stopping point. Where you can breathe again. Home is where you can feel the things you feel, and never be ashamed of them. Can you imagine something like that? Hm?
AND
“I loved you before I knew you. I loved what you could be and what your existence meant for me. Just knowing you were out there, somewhere, being strong until I could find you. You gave me purpose when I wanted to give up. You weren’t even here, but you made me stronger. You made me better. And I swore I would do the same for you one day…”
How could a girl not fall in love!!
I enjoyed this way more than I should have. Glad I did not give up on the series.

Two wronged make life right
In every one of your series I always have a favorite couple. I knew from your IG posts that Nyla & Skittles were going tI be that couple for me. Now don't get me wrong. I love All the characters and honestly when you get back to Felix & Skye I have a feeling they are going to steal the #1 spot on my faves list. Anyhoo, Nyla & Skittles. I totally dig the patience he knew it was going to take to bring Nyla back from the brink. He was all about his mate, just awesome. Nyla endured by fueling her hatred for Bastian, I'm glad she didn't let it consume her. She let Skittles love her & opened her mind to accepting the good she deserved. Letting go of what was for a brighter future with Skittles and the others.

Oh my gosh! So good!
This book was a little long in the waiting, but it’s worth every second of it!
Skittles & Nyla. She was left behind in the last book, unable to escape with the rest of the girls. Skittles already knew she was his mate and was prepared to sacrifice everything to get her out as well.
Be ready for a few tears. Skittles and Nyla have to finish breaking before they can be whole again.
There’s also a secondary thread running through that gives an even more emotional roller coaster ride.

Heart of Glass is the newest installment in P Jameson’s Firecat series. In it, Skittles and the rest of the Alley Cats return to Bastian’s mansion to rescue his mate Nyla. Skittles and Nyla must then learned how to love each other, something neither thought they were capable of.
Ms. Jameson once again weaves an intriguing story full of romance, danger, interesting revelations, redemption, and love. I look forward to reading the next book in this series very much.

Skittle is furious that the other alley cats brought all the dolls except his girl Nyla " seven". He's so mad that he tries everything. When he breaks into the computer program and open a file named marlee it says "i will be dead by morning" skittle has to get to her now just as his firecat comes to life. Nyla is on the brink of death after the other girls escaped she's has been tortured on the night she is to die she sees him skittle her savior . Can these dolls really be safe from Bastian Marx? Great read

Holy moly
That was fantastic!! This dam book had all of the feels plus two love stories in one book. Neither story took away from the other. I have despised Felix since the Ouachita Mountain Shifters series but now I adore him. He was willing to give the ultimate sacrifice for love. What a redemption story. I only hope it’s not over. What was there not to love about skittles and Nyla. Broken pieces make the most beautiful things when they are pieced together. P Jameson you amaze me. Until next time y’all happy reading.

Flaming hot
So nice to be back with the Firecats as they battle the consequences of past actions and help heal their mates. Seven gets rescued after being left behind in the last rescue but thats just the beginning. I loved Skittles and his sweetness and commitment. My only gripe is the entire book is 1st person but there is another PoV from the mains and it's not labeled so it was very confusing when it would switch over.

Amazing!!!
Your heart broke when 7 got left behind and fans waited for this book to find out how Skittles would rescue his mate and in turn himself....P Jameson did not disappoint! Their story was traumatic yet beautiful! Each small step a giant leap for love! And the insights of Felix as he changes...just mind blowing....another fantastic read from this author who always leaves you eagerly anticipating the next book

Magnificent!!!
Skittles and Nyla's story had me at the edge of my seat the entire time. The plot was amazing. But what was even more gut-wrenching was Felix. Who would have thought my heart would crumble for him! I have read this author's entire library of stories so I had met Felix from the other series. Tears fell in this story. Now, I cannot wait for Heart of Cinder! I hope the wait won't be too long and I hope that story will be just as long as this one.

Skittles's story will touch your heart
Love all of these stories and the ones leading up to this one. Well written and edited. This one pulls at your heartstrings throughout the book. The characters in this series keep evolving in every book and back characters start to become more noticeable ,while some main ones surprise you. Please don't make us wait too long for the next one !

If you have read the fire cats books this one connects some dots. If you haven't read any of the fire cat books then your missing out big time!!!!! I am completely in love with the Ally cats. If your looking for a story about redemption, true love, forgiveness and down right sexiness these books are a must read!!!

Wow just wow! Each new book about the Firecats is incredible reading.
He can't see colors and she is broken from being held captive to long. They fit together, their broken pieces melding. Exactly as every relationship should do in real life. Loved Skittles story, he deserves love.

My heart
I absolutely loved this book. I cried all the way through it. Skittles has been my man from the first time I read him. Nayla is a force to be reckoned with and I am so happy Skittles finally got his story. I can't wait for more from the #firecats. Felix will be one he'll of a beast I think. Just make sure you have some tissues handy when you crack open this book

Different Style Much Love
I think this is the first time that PJ has subtly blended two couple stories into one. I loved getting into Felix’s head a little. It gave him a whole new light for me. Skittles. Oh skittles and Nyla. They took my heart and ran away with it. This was perfection wrapped in a story and I CANNOT wait for Heart of Cinder!

Good book
I really enjoyed this book, but it's not my favorite in the series. I think that's partly because of Kyle's attitude toward being Skittle's mate and almost throwing away her chance at love and happiness. I completely loved his attitude and the way he wouldn't give up on her. And I can't wait for the next book, I know Felix and Skye's book will be a rollercoaster.

Love it!
I love it when an author is good enough to incorporate a variety of characters without pandering and mixed race couples without making a big deal out of it. It's a normal part of life, and a more accurate representation of humanity. Plus, Nyla is a strong, smart, righteous badass!

I'm contemplating putting this as a 2 star because of the cat. Didn't add to the story making the villian more evil after he kept girls? Like no need. He's already evil move on.
That being said I do enjoy my reads of these. The romance is quick, they're Fated mates etc etc. But I enjoy the read where it's a guaranteed HEA.

Incredible
This. Was. Everything. I have loved all of the firecats but this one here. This one here was epically more than even I expected! I have been so looking forward to seeing Skittles get his chance and she was incredible with the vivaciousness of this story!

No you without me
I was so excited that the 3rd Firecat book was released, I had to read it right away! And it was perfect. Nyla and Skittle are perfect for each other and the love story is a poetic dream. I can't wait for the next one to see where the story picks up.

OMG
I’ve been waiting for this one and it was better than I expected. So much excitement and during the climax I was screaming P don’t do this to me. All I have to say is OUTSTANDING!!!!

Really good
Really liked this story, in fact was hard to put down to go to sleep.
This has a great set of characters and storyline. And, a great ending and lead into the next book.
Really liked Skittles (despite the name) and Nyla.
Worth reading.

Ok huge cliffhanger but I expected it. #7 and Skittles... Yes please. A little different hearing Felix but it was needed for the story and the series. Soo much more to say but you need to read

It's been awhile since I read the Firecats series, but it's just as good as the others. I knew Felix didn't die and his car was going to come out once he accepted his mate. Nyla and Skittles are so perfect for each other and I'm glad they killed Bastian.
