Read this book from John D. Fie Jr. and put away your reservations about action and the often violent exchanges between characters of the west. This is my first work from the author, but he is apparently known for action-packed tales, so it won't be my last.

Being Book #4 in the Morgan Deerfield series, I wondered if it would be difficult to pick up the continuity of previous installments. The book does a fine job standing alone.

If you're in the mood for a classic-style, horse-rearing, black-hat-wearing-bad-guy, fast-moving story, this one won't let you down.

RUSTLING THE RUSTLERS AND HUSTLERS

Morgan A treated is recovering from gun shoot sound to his hip, the bullet fractured the bone. They thought they were going to lose Morgan, because he almost bled out..very dangerous and there's a high possibility of infection which caused a lot of unnecessary deaths.
Again we have rustling committed by night riders, the most dangerous types of raiders. Greed and power the acquisition of other people's ranches or farms and the head of this debauchery is the Mayor of the town. He's embezzling monies from the bank for his own use, calling in bank loans on the properties he wants. Even though the Federal government is trying to get a handle on all these offenses happening out West, it's have a difficult time, because of the scarcity of U. S. Marshals, Texas and Arizona Rangers. Parts of the U.S. was still territorys and outlaws made it their home base. Town marshals, and sheriffs jurisdiction ended. Even though you had reservations police, they didn't have the authority to arrest white man who knew this so they did whatever they wanted to do...Morgan was getting to close so they tried assassinating him by all means necessary. Miss. Betty sent for body guards for Morgan, that's how bad things had gotten. Lots of action, men who ride for the brand, these are principles, morals that helped U.S. become a sanctuary a safe haven for those who were trying to escape authoritarian rulers in the countries they were from. Hard riding men some afraid and some not..such is life

Great adventure story with unending emotional encounters. Fascinating adventures that immediately reaches out and grabs the reader's undivided attention from beginning to end. An ongoing combination of realistic western folklore that constantly touches the heartstrings of any reader, regardless of you reading preference!

Most definitely a five star masterpiece by one of the most prolific authors of American western folklore storytellers. There are unlimited accomplishments by the good guys and the Sheriff has reached the point of justice, instead of law enforcement! The Author does an outstanding job with his superb storytelling and his character selections are definitely befitting of their assigned roles.
I enjoyed the outstanding details of each exciting adventure as they came alive throughout this compelling story, and there was no doubt as to the Sheriff's intention throughout the entire book. Too, there were many heartwarming, and somewhat apprehensive, details of family-friendly entertainment from.beginning to end. If you love suspense love stories, and gunfights, then hope aboard and enjoy this outstanding masterpiece masterpiece.
Definitely recommend this compassionately outstanding and descriptive masterpiece of realistic old western American folklore storylines at their very best. There has to.be a sequel, as the ending certainly led me to believe there would be, without a doubt! Try it I am sure you will enjoy this sorcery much as I certainly did!
