Ben has been cursed by a scorned witch. Ben has been in his bear form for 6 long years hoping that finding his mate would instantly break the witches curse.
Rose is a romantic at heart and wants what her friend, Scarlet has. Rose has decided she needs to leave her beloved little town of Bremen to find though. Once Rose has found her new place she can't even go there because a bad snowstorm hits Bremen and a hypothermic bear starts talking to her.
This is a short story, but one that keeps on the edge if your seat. Thus is type of story that has me talking to the pages like a crazy person, yelling "No!" because the characters are making a bad choice or muttering " why didn't you say so" when the darn man is to over protective to communicate. These characters are great and the girls all have such different personalities. I really enjoy this series. I think Firn is going to be the more difficult one to pair needs someone extra special, I can't wait to read her story! I also kind of hope Chelsea gets a story, I guess we'll see. I would recommend this book to any adult PNR reader.

A shifter romance story with a real romancing story!! A shifter mating romance story usually quick and dirty and all about the mating. This one though, take a brief detour to the romancing scene. It's still a sexy story, but a slowburned one. It's still a quick mating one but with beauty-and-the-beast twist. And what I liked the most was it's still holding quite a few chapters on getting to know each others and flirts!! I feel so much warm feeling reading this. Lots of background story and explanation on Nicky's shifter universe.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
