Celebrated theologian, preacher and author C. I. Scofield explains the difference between the various Gospels in this excellent Bible study and devotional book.
In this superbly detailed examination of the New Testament, Scofield demonstrates how dispensationalism can aid Christians in receiving the true meaning of the scriptures. Making careful distinctions between the gospels and the nature of Christian belief, Scofield demonstrates how God divided the various gospels over time, and explains how to distinguish between these divisions.
Throughout this work we observe how the author supports his words with frequent quotations of the scripture. We learn how the believer must act when adhering to Christ's teachings, and of how the Christian may please God and receive his blessings. Holding to beliefs in God in spite of life's trials, adhering to the principles of moral virtue, and understanding the fundamental truths of the Bible are emphasized.
C. I. Scofield wrote many books advancing thought on Christian subjects, and was particularly important for informing Christian believers of dispensationalism. After an early life spent in Army service and as a lawyer, Scofield undertook his spiritual journey by spending decades preaching. He also wrote his famous reference Bible, and founded the Central American Mission.
Cyrus Ingerson Scofield was a lawyer who served as U.S. District Attorney for Kansas, and later became an evangelical Christian minister whose writings popularized premillenial dispensationalism among fundamentalists.
Like a beehive, the scriptures contain a beauty of organization not immediately apparent to the naked eye. The order and divisions of God's Word are essential to its purpose, and can be discerned through careful study and examination.
Rightly dividing the word of truth is the classic introduction to the study of the Bible's organization. Each of its chapters focuses on one of the major divisions of thru in the Bible.

Every Christian will grow in appreciation and understanding of God's Word by reading the Bible according to these outlines of truth.
A leitura é bem rápida. Recomendo.
I recommend this book to everyone who understands the meaning of "Rightly dividing the word of Truth". One should understand the difference between the Gospel of Grace and the Gospel of the Kingdom before trying to discern Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth.
Basic theology with an emphasis on the Dispensations. Good review for me and a reminder of how much that theology makes sense to me if not taken to narrow extremes. I would say it's a theology framework to fit things into, but loosely.
Some good thoughts, and useful for understanding Dispensationalism, but a lot of weak exegesis. Many verses Scofield appeals to could be understanding in other--and better--ways than what he insists upon.
This is a very good book to use as a teaching tools. I love it. I always make reference to the dispensations and covenants between God and us. I don't have an end or beginning, but always keeping it close to me in my Kindle App on my phone.
A brief but well organized book examining basic theologies and foundations of the Christian faith. It really encourages you to examine the word and is filled with scripture references. I recommend it if you have a little time!
the true book on dispensational theology from the classic dispensational study bible author not very modern verbiage but to be expected from early 1900's
