Keely Whittle is off limits.
Keely Whittle is off limits.
Keely Whittle is off limits.

I've known her for her whole life. She's my deceased best friend's little sister, now my best friend by default, and the closest thing I have left to anything resembling family.

Watching out for her should be easy. Second Nature. Something I've always done. Why, with Austin gone, does it suddenly feel so different?

I tell myself she's off limits on a daily basis- but there is one tiny problem.

Keely is all grown up, and she doesn't feel the same way.

She's smart, funny, smoking hot, and desperately trying to get into my pants-and my heart.

Moving in with her was a really bad idea.

*Good Luck Daddy is Book 1 in a hot new Rom-Com series about a group of friends, bonded over their love of dirty books with drool-worthy heroes, who eventually get their own hot, hilarious, happily-ever-afters.*

I am a full-time mom to two sassy, strong-willed, loveable little girls. What can I say? They take after their Mama. I’m on the wrong side of 30, and I have been married to my best friend for over ten years and I couldn’t imagine doing life with anyone else by my side. We are Southern California transplants, currently residing in a very rural part of the east coast. I have two crazy dogs that I adore, even though they drive me out of my ever-loving mind most days.

Writing and graphic design consume all of my spare time and I could not be happier. This journey I am on is a crazy one, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

I adore these two authors, they bring a tremendous amount of fun and laughter to a genre of erotica that is all too often judged harshly without understanding what it's about or judging a book based on the title.

I've read a number of their 'Daddy' books and have to say that I enjoyed them all, from Robot Daddy to Orge Daddy... there is a Daddy Dom out there to suit everyone's 'flavour' 🙌🏻💯

Evenmoreso now with this new series of books....Daddy of the Month club is a series that revolves around 12 women who after discovering their universal love of 'naughty books' decide to start their own book club.

The first in series is Good Luck Daddy, I was expecting laughter and chemistry, which it has by the bucketful... but also found myself knee deep in a story of loss and grief.... and I loved it!
Sweet and tender and steamy and loving this book was a proper page turner that I didn't and couldn't put down.

I'm looking forward to diving into the other stories that are due to come from this author duo!

YOU ARE NOT A LEPRECHAUN!

Each month, a new addition to the Daddy of the Month Club series will feature a different ‘daddy’ and one of the ladies that was introduced in the series prequel. A group of ladies has formed a ‘book club,’ and they meet Lisa’s house. They are over lame pick-up lines at the bars and discovering they each have a passion for reading daddy dom romance stories, they have formed a friendship—over drinks, good food, and naughty romances.

Keely Whittle’s world would be shattered again on October 9, 2018, when she is informed that her last living relative, her older brother, was killed in action. The other trio to their three musketeers is Jasper O’Malley who is also in the Army and deployed in Afghanistan. So for the last six months, Keely has barely been functioning, and what a shock when Jasper shows up at her door.

The plot will have so much angst, tension, and passion-held-in-check, between Keely and Jasper. She has always had a crush on him, and he has been the leading man in her fantasies—but she isn’t alone in her feelings or fantasies. There is a combination of relief and anger at his arrival. He wasn’t there for her when she had to bury Austin, and now that he is here, what does it mean? He took early retirement from the Army and is ready to camp out on her couch—and her life—but by his rules.

It has always been a standing joke about his Irish charm and luck, and when he wins her tickets to a concert with her favorite band, she is shocked. When he goes with her—their night will be loaded with angst and turn to passion—but what happens when he tells her it can’t happen again?

“Just call me Jasper ‘the Leprechaun’ O’Malley, your own personal good luck charm.”

“Okay, look.” I sighed. “You are Keely Whittle, Austin Whittle’s little sister. You are and always have been off limits. The answer is no, Keely. We can not sully our relationship like that. You are the only person I have left in this world that gives a lick about me. Sex and relationships of any kind would just muddy the water and make things messy.”

“Jasper didn’t get to say we were friends and act like the picture-perfect version of my fantasy boyfriend. He didn’t get to have his Lucky Charms and eat them too.”

The chemistry between Jasper and Keely just oozes off the pages, and while she pushes his buttons, he does his best to try and hold her off. He does hold her to the fire, and gives her an OTK spanking for driving after drinking, he takes her to the concert and gives in to their mutual attraction, and he tries to steer clear in honor of his best friend and her brother. If there were two people who need and want each other, it is Jasper and Keely—will a message give them what they both want and need?

I love the sassiness of the book club ladies and how they have Keely’s back and are ready to all go after Jasper for how he is treating her—even if it is respectful and not giving in to their passion. I look forward to the next book, Fool Me Daddy that will be Laura’s story due out on April 19th. “To old friends and new beginnings.”

I am not sure that I even know where to begin writing a review for this because it is truly an awesome experience.

I loved everything about it - the characters, the plot, the emotion, the writing, and the ability that the author had to tell me a story that had me wanting this book to go on and on!

Good Luck Daddy, is absolutely wonderful. It’s a tricky subject for what has been styled as a Rom Com series as it deals extensively with bereavement. Austin Whittle was Jasper’s best friend and Keeley’s big brother. After he is killed in combat, Jasper and Keeley find themselves the remaining two survivors of the little ersatz family that the three of them had maintained since the death of Keeley and Austin’s parents.

Keeley has always been like a little sister to Jasper. Except that now Keeley is all grown-up and Jasper’s feeling towards her have become rather more romantic – and, well, sexual. Which is all perfectly hunky dory because Keeley feels exactly the same way about Jasper.

So we have two attractive, sexually frustrated individuals in love with one another currently sleeping under the same roof. What possible obstacle could be getting in their way and stopping the inevitable Happy Ever After happening round about page 6?

Jasper’s bloody stupid Code of Honour, that’s what. The damn fool is too bloody busy mithering over the ethics of fucking his dead friend’s sister that he comes very close to mucking the whole thing up. Repeatedly.

I mean, it doesn’t stop him breaking this self-imposed ‘Bro Code’ and enjoying some delightfully Dommy sex ‘n’ spanks with Keeley. But then he gets all funny about it afterwards. It’s a wonder Keeley put up with his nonsense, really.

Despite the sadness that runs through the book, this is a very funny story. The chapter titles are hilarious, the "Pants-Off-Off" scenes are a delight to read and the verbal sparring between the two heroes is both witty and authentic-sounding.

There is also the wonderful Book Club that Keeley belongs to. Everybody needs a book club like this! Well, me at least. I need a book club like this. A place for women to get together, eat food and talk about smutty fiction. Sounds like exactly my cup of tea.

There is also a Prequel , Daddy of the Month Club. (Currently free on Amazon!) I would recommend that you read this before you read Good Luck Daddy rather than afterwards like I did.

There are twelve women in the book club so it’s a little hard to keep track of them all on this the first introduction but as each story in this series concentrates on a different member of the group, I expect to get to know them better soon enough.

 4 Lucky Stars!

This was the first book by either one of these authors that I have read.  I always love to try out new authors and these two definitely impressed me with Good Luck Daddy.

Keely lost her brother Aiden and while dealing with the grief of losing the last family member she had she got herself in quite the bind.  As if being unemployed and on the verge of being homeless isn't enough, Jasper her brother's best friends shows up and is staying on her couch.  Keely is angry at him, feeling like he wasn't there for her when she needed him most and she can't have him living with her she has had a crush on him since she was a kid.

This story is great!  The emotion runs wild in this book, there is chemistry and humor within a story of loss and grief. Jasper tries to do what he thinks is right and what his best friend would have wanted, plus he realizes Keely is the only family he has left and doesn't want to jeopardize that.  But with Keely trying to make a move on him and living together and neither one having a job, temptation starts to get the best of him.

Pick up this book asap to find out if Keely and Jasper get together or continue to dance around their feelings for each other.  What would Aiden want for them?  You will not be disappointed with this story!

This is a great Daddy story by two of my favorite Daddy authors, Allysa Hart and Rayanna Jamison. I love reading what they write, so I was super excited to read this, and it was so good.

Keely has lost her brother and now the rest of her life is falling apart. She's almost hit bottom, and then Jasper walks back into her life. He was her older brother's best friend, and was in the same military unit as he was. Keely currently hates him because he wasn't there for her when her brother died, and she needed him. When Jasper sees how bad things are, he's there to be her good luck charm.

I really felt bad for Keely. When you are in that place, it just takes a little tiny thing to go wrong and then it turns into a huge thing and it has rolled you right over. She's totally in that place, and I feel so bad. I do, however, love that she has her great friends in the book club there to help her, and there to threaten to kick Jasper's rear end as necessary.

I like Jasper, mostly, but I kind of wanted to kick his ass more than once. He totally deserved it.

Jasper is an old family friend. He’s known Whittle family since he was 9. He wasn’t able to come home for his best friend Austin’s funeral. But now that he is home, he plans to be there for Keely. He just has to remember that she is OFF LIMITS. Keely misses her brother Austin but having Jasper here is a blessing and a curse. She has had a crush on him for a long time. These two are too funny.

For one thing, the sexual tension you could probably cut with a knife. They had a “pants off off” thing going and were driving each other crazy. Keely really wanted Jasper to break and Jasper was trying his damnest to hold out. When they do finally hook up, he makes matters worse. What is it with men “thinking” they are doing a noble thing? Ok, yes, she was grieving and screwed up on getting the important things rolling but he was being a jerk. UGH! I wanted to do what the women wanted to do to him too. I cried when Keely laid into him. I also cheered her on. Good for her for laying it all out. Thank goodness things turned out.

Promises, Vows, Love and Loyalty

Not to mention reading some smoking hot books with friends. Keely has found friends that have the love of kinky, spanking books in common. They meet regularly to discuss books and compare notes on their existing and non-existing love lives. Keely's brother Austin died in service to his country, leaving Keely all alone. With no parents or family left, the only person who is anything close to family is Jasper, who has been a part of her life even be fore she was born. Jasper finally shows up after retiring from service and comes back to the only home he ever knew and the last of that family left, Keely. Things don't go too smoothly as both Keeley and Jasper are now mature adults with needs and who do love each other, just not that way, yet.Jasper has always been known as the good luck leprechan, and his luck just might help him and Keely find each other now that they only have each other, if only it wasn't for his strong Bro-Code to get past.

Keely is grieving her brother's death and not able to really function. She on the verge of losing her home soon after she is laid off when Jasper shows up. Sparks fly between them but Jasper doesn't want to take advantage or sully his friend's memory by being with Keely. But the pull to be with her and take care of her is strong. Keely is tired of the mixed signals Jasper gives off and is ready for him to move on when the reading of the will opens both of their eyes. Will Jasper stay?

This is a great story that will draw you in from the first page. The chemistry between them is scorching hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Keely Whittle lost her brother Austin about six months ago when she was notified that he was killed while on assignment in the Army. He was her last remaining family member and her grief continued as her life went in a spiraling downfall.

Jasper O'Mally, Austin's best friend didn't make it home from his deployment when Austin died but he is home now and moves in to help Keely. With his Irish ways he becomes her Good Luck Daddy as a relationship develops between them as they share their grief and learn to live with an on again and off again relationship because Jasper thinks Austin would not want his best friend to find happiness with his little sister.

Keely is supported by the Daddy of the Month Club and the humor is great as the dirty dozen offer help and opinions to support Keely.

Keely is the first in the Daddy of the Month Club to meet her man and fall in love, and she does so spectacularly. We meet up with Keely again when she's really out of luck and grieving her brother's death. Her brother's best friend comes to her, and wow, is Jasper hot, and dominant. Oh, and really, really reluctant to give into a relationship with Keely - certain that the "bro code" would never allow this. From her first trip over his knee, though, he realizes just how right they are together, but he carries on fighting. My only gripe with this book - I wanted more! I really can't wait for the next in the series either.

This is the story of Jasper and Keely. Jasper has just left the military and goes back to the only place he classes as home, his best friend Austin’s house. The only problem is that his best friend is now deceased and his sister Keely who still lives there is now his best friend by default should be off limits. Keely doesn’t get that memo and Jasper struggles to keep her off limits for any length of time. This is a really sweet age play story where Keely gets to be little girl that she really is and Jasper gets to be the strong alpha looking after her. It has a good storyline and has a comedy element to it. I really liked this book and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get there daddy fix.

I know that she is off limits, she is the sister of my best friend who is now dead. She is someone who had always been off limits to me, and now she is my best friend by default. She is the only family I have left. Watching out for her should not be a problem for me it should be something that I should be able to do in my sleep. It’s something that I have always done. Why now that my friend is no longer around does it feel different, why do I notice now that she is all grown up, and why can’t I remember why she is off limits to me. It doesn’t help that she is hot, smart, and that she wants me and my heart to. I know that I shouldnt move in with her, but I can’t seem to remember the reasons, why this would be a bad idea.

These authors should post a warning that you will not be able to do anything else once you start reading. Yes there is sizzle, yes there is romance, but most of all you will have laugh out loud moments (a lot of them) from the realistic, witty dialog. I found myself transported into the pages and living the experiences of the characters. I so want to be part of this book club and cannot wait for the rest of the series to be released. So treat yourself to a great read, put out the do not disturb sign, and enjoy! Oh, and if you are reading in public, apologize in advance for any outbursts of laughter - better yet don’t and recommend they pick it up for themselves.

This is a sweet, steamy, intriguing and sexy read. The characters are portayed in a way that makes them feel real with their feelings and their insecurities shining through. It is a humorous and easy story to like, I couldn't put it down.

Keely Whittle is smart, fun and gorgeous, but also grief stricken after her brother's death. When her brother's handsome best friend comes back from Afghanistan, she's been griefing six month already, lost her job and struggeling to pay her bills. She really needs someone to take care of her, but will she let anyone in?

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Jasper and Keely. They have known each other for years. He was her brother Austin's best friend, plus they were older than her by ten years. When their parents died, Austin and Jasper took care of her. But Austin dies while in the military and she's alone, Jasper is still in Afghanistan. He comes home for retirement and wants to stay with Keely. She's had a crush on him for ever and he's the same. Watch as they come to terms with Austin's death and their feelings for each other while learning to live again.

Great start to a Daddy series...

This has been such a really great read and such a great start to a series about a group of lonely women who have formed a book club to bring their love of hot sexy books to life.
Kheely’s life has taken a turn for the worst after finding out her brother was killed, she’s lost her job, her car got repossessed and her power is about to be put off.
Enter Jasper who was Kheely’s brother best friend and has had a thing for Kheely since like forever and I had to chuckle in a few parts as they try to ignore the attraction that is between them as the ghost of the brother settles over them..
I loved it and can’t wait to read more of this series..

I loved reading Keely and Jasper’s story. I’m not sure what I expected from this new series (that I have definitely been looking forward too), but it definitely fulfilled expectations. It was hilarious. (I mean a pants off off, really!?! 😆) It has all the angsty feels. Jasper may be a good luck charm, but he is waaaay sexier than any leprechaun I’ve ever seen. But for as much good luck as he may bring Keely, they both have their own hang ups. And of course, the sexy tension and action is HOT. I also love that we continue to get to know the book club ladies. I can’t wait for April! ❤️

This was a good start to the Daddy of the Month series. The book had me crying, laughing, snorting and sighing. Keely has reached the end of her rope - her brother/guardian died in combat, her car was reposessed and she lost her job. Jasper was her brother's best friend, has just retired from service and is the love of her life. He is convinced he would be breaking the bro code if he pursues the crazy attraction they have, but eventually caves in to his baser needs. They have a lot of baggage to work out between them, but they do get their HEA.

Keely Whittle is off limits

That’s the refrain that keeps Jasper from making a move on Keely, his faux sister. She’s actually his best friends little sister.

When Keely’s brother Austin dies in the military, Jasper is the only one she has left. She’s not in a good place, grieving and jobless.

Jasper appears and moves in, he’s a drifter but it’s different this time as he’s out of the military and the Whittles have always been home base.

A funny, sassy read, despite Austin’s death.
Recommend.

Temptation comes in many forms.
Food, drugs, hot people but when it's the one thing you've been denied for years and is dangled in front of your face on a daily bases with an open invitation to proceed along those warnings that off limits was for fools go off.
