Growing up in the cold, wet, north of England, Nina Croft spent a lot of time dreaming of faraway sunnier places and ponies. When she discovered both, along with a whole load of other things, could be found between the covers of a book, her life changed forever.

Later, she headed south, picked up the perfect husband along the way, and together they volunteered to work in Africa. There they discovered a love of exotic places and a dislike of 9-5 work. Afterward they spent a number of years travelling (whenever possible) intermingled with working (whenever necessary.) Eventually they stumbled upon a remote area in the mountains of southern Spain and the small almond farm they now call home.

Nina spends her days reading, writing and riding her mare, Gencianna, under the blue Spanish skies—sunshine and ponies. She reckons this is proof that dreams really can come true if you want them enough.

Nina's writing mixes romance with elements of the paranormal and science fiction

Three and a half
Regan is a two thousand year old Witch and a daughter of the Morrigan no less but finds herself unable to use her considerable powers when attacked by a Werewolf. Caleb is considered a Werewolf by his father's Pack but unlike the others he has never had to answer the call of the Moon . He hears someone obviously in distress but is horrified to discover a female who has been attacked by a Werewolf. Caleb wants to help her then send her on her way but Regan isn't the type to quietly accept her new reality.
I've always enjoyed this authors work but this time unfortunately I struggled because honestly I just didn't like Regan. I get that after so long alive she might not be the most sunny natured but she came across as hard to this reader. Caleb is a character full of surprises and I very much liked that there was a connection to characters from the previous book. In fact thinking about it those characters were what kept me reading as even though there is a well rounded story here it was a certain Vampire and his irreverent sense of humour that captured my attention the most. There's still one more sister to get her happy ending but for now in spite of my initial dislike of Regan I'm happy to say she looks like having a wonderful future with Caleb.
This voluntary take is of an advance copy and my thoughts and comments are honest and I believe fair

REVIEW: 3.75 stars--WITCH’S MOON is the third instalment in Nina Croft’s contemporary, adult DAUGHTER OF THE MORRIGAN erotic, paranormal romance series. This is two-thousand year old witch Regan, and werewolf Caleb Stone’s story line. WITCH’S MOON can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalments is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion.

Told from dual third person perspectives (Caleb and Regan) WITCH’S MOON follows in the aftermath of an attack against our story line heroine. Regan is a powerful witch, a daughter of the Morrigan, the goddess of war and pestilence, but a woman who now struggles with a dual personality as a result of a deliberate werewolf bite. Targeted by the alpha of the pack, for reasons only known to the man in charge, Regan will come face to face with her would-be rescuer, a man who fights his own destiny and DNA. Enter Caleb Stone, the son of the alpha, and the man with whom Regan will fall in love. What ensues is the building but acrimonious relationship and romance between Caleb and Regan, and the potential fall-out as Regan’s past demands a second chance.

Caleb Stone has denied his heritage for far too long. Abused and tortured by his father, Caleb walked away from the pack, never to look back but something about father’s forced transformation of the woman he would grow to love pushed our hero to reconsider all that he was.

The relationship between Regan and Caleb begins as a rescue but Caleb wants nothing to do with Regan’s need for independence, and her constant chatter and line of questions. Now a witch/werewolf hybrid, our heroine’s inner animal is constantly pulled towards Caleb’s beast. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

All of the previous story line couples including Regan’s sisters Catrin, Gina and Lola, play secondary and supporting characters. We are introduced to Caleb’s father Ethan Stone, as well Fire-demon Sardi, and several members of Ethan’s pack.

WITCH’S MOON is a story of family, betrayal, vengeance and love. The premise is intriguing and engaging; the characters are energetic and colorful. I struggled a little bit with the romance-I didn’t quite feel the connection between our leading couple.

Reviewed on my blog, Becky on Books, on 4/15/19.

I wasn't all that crazy about Regan in the first two books in the series--she seemed cold and closed off, unable or unwilling to connect with those around her--the type of person who knows what is best for everyone else and takes it upon herself to make that happen, regardless of what everyone else might think they want or need. Heavy-handed doesn't even begin to cover it... So when I realized that her book was going to be novel-length rather than a novella, I really hoped seeing things from her perspective would change things.

I am happy to report that it did!

Regan's 2000+ years old, and for the bulk of that lifetime she's been dealing with some heavy duty guilt for something that happened when she was 18. It's caused her to be closed off from just about everyone around her; for the most part her sisters are the exception, but there are plenty of things she keeps hidden from them, too. You could say she's a bit of a lone wolf--and then she encounters a pack of werewolves, and (slight spoiler, but it happens almost right away) the label becomes even more accurate. Soon she's embroiled in a mysterious plot to control the universe, and an even-more-lone-wolf werewolf (or is he?) might be the only one who can help her save life as we know it. If they don't kill each other first, that is...

Witch's Moon takes the threads that the first two books ( The Prophecy and The Darkness ) had begun to weave and pulls them together into a more cohesive cloth. Raven and Kael and Gina and Darius all have roles to play here, and seeing them working together with not only Reagan and Caleb but also Regan's other sisters, Catrin and Lola to try and save the world was a heck of a lot of fun--stressful at times (this book's picture could be next to the dictionary definition of "edge of your seat") but fun ;)

Though most of the loose ends of the series are wrapped up here, I can't help but notice that Catrin and Lola, two Daughters of the Morrigan are still single, so...hint, hint...

In order to fully "get" what is going on in the world Ms. Croft has built here, I think it's best to read Witch's Moon after reading the first two books in the series. They're novellas, so it's not a huge time commitment, but well worth the effort. This one could be read on its own if needed, but I recommend you treat yo'self and read all three :)

Regan believes that she is one of the strongest most powerful witches until one night she faces off against Ethan Stone. Regan is not only proud but thinks that she can beat him until he turns into a werewolf. As Ethan attacks Regan the magic she is using to fight him is diminishing because Ethan stopped her powers from killing him. Since Regan can’t fight back being incapacitated by Ethan, he bites her. As Caleb is loading his truck he hears a loud scream. Caleb knows he can’t ignore it and finds a beautiful woman bitten by a werewolf. As Caleb nurses Regan back from her brush with death; Regan learns that she has been turned into a werewolf. Caleb attempts to show Regan about being a werewolf even with her attempts to deny it and them both falling for each other. As Regan gets used to the fact of being both a witch and werewolf another evil threatens both Regan and Caleb. Can Regan and Caleb stop the darkness before it ends the world or will love get in the way?
This is book three of the Daughters of the Morrigan series and still manages to be quite an intriguing read! Yes the previous books in the series must be read to really understand the world and the characters so the book is not really a good standalone book. The story moves nicely bringing together witches and werewolves but is not short on action or romance. Sure parts of the book did drag and the crazy love hate relationship of the hero and heroine was at times tedious. In the other previous books Regan is not portrayed in the best light so it’s hard to like or relate to her. Regan seemed to nag a lot too and the believability to be in love just didn’t seem to fit her. Yes she desired Caleb physically and the lust was strong but the relationship seemed a bit superficial. On the other hand Caleb the rogue drifter werewolf hero seems gruff but is really a good guy to help everyone even when they don’t want his help. Still the book will make any paranormal fan happy!

Witch's Moon, book 3 of the Daughters of the Morrigan by Nina Croft is the best in the series yet. I say yet because there are two more of Morrigan’s daughters that I sincerely hope to receive their own story, too. The story-line gave all the missing pieces to Regan’s life which explained why she acted as she did in the first two books. She is a complicated witch and Caleb Stone is right there with her in the complex department. Since this book is much longer than the others they are more fully developed characters.

The plot one was so different from the first two, I was not expecting Caleb’s lineage to pan out as it did. Then it meshed perfectly to past main characters’ lives in the previous books. Another big plus for me is that the theme of the Council and the demons continues to be developed but without the huge cliffhanger that happens with some series. This story is nicely tied up by the conclusion, still leaving it open for more in the series. Well done and well-written. My hat is off to the author who surprised and entertained me with Witch’s Moon.

I can recommend Witch’s Moon to all paranormal fans everywhere. Also while there is references to some of the background of supporting characters who were main characters in the first two books, I think it reads well as a stand-alone. However, be warned that you will most likely be intrigued enough to want to read The Prophecy and The Darkness too.

An ARC of the book was given to me by the publisher/author which I voluntarily chose to read and reviewed. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The book blurb gives a very accurate description of the story. I can't summarize it any better so I won't try. I didn't much care for headstrong, 2000 year old witch Regan in the first two books of the series. I liked her much better here. In Witch's Moon she stays true to character but I got a much better understanding of her and a more rounded view. Caleb, a werewolf who has separated himself from his abusive father and his pack, is the reluctant hero of the story. When he rescues Regan after she's been bitten, his growing attraction to her and his innate sense of decency end up pulling him back into the world which has only been a source of pain to him. The writing is great and the characters are likable. The book has an interesting plot with some surprises. I really liked this story a lot. It's a great read.

I didn't get a chance to read the first book but the 2nd book I loved so much and the 3rd book was so good that I really was excited to see how it worked out between Regan and Caleb. They had a rough start to their relationship but in the end they found a way to make it work. Even if it did almost get them killed. Regan is this 2000 year old witch who has seen alot in life. Regan regrets some of her choices and lives with it. Caleb hated his lofe and when his father does the unthinkable he becomes more involved and so her that it's going to be all good. Through it all the found that love does conquer all and killed the bad guy. This series is so good, can't wait for the next book.  I give it 5 stars. I read the first two books in the series and enjoyed them. The 3rd book deals with Reagan and Caleb. Caleb finds Reagan after she is bitten by a werewolf. By the way Reagan is a 2000 year old witch who has seen a lot in her life and refuses to believe in love. Caleb has turned his back on his past and wants nothing to do with the paranormal world. This couple didn't find it easy to make a go of it. Trying to find the cure, or spell to reverse the bite, she ask for Caleb's help. It just may get them both killed. I like the suspense in this story. I liked that the couple had a lot of angst before they got their HEA.

A good romantic suspense story. Regan is a 2000-year-old witch who has seen everything there is to see until she is bitten by a werewolf. Caleb is the son of the werewolf who bit her and he tries to help her. This is the third story and, while a standalone, I would now like to read the others in the series to get the history on the other characters.

This story hooks you from the beginning. Caleb comes with a big shocker in this book. He is far more than he believes. I had a good chuckle with Morrigan's gift of a poodle! Not what one would expect. This is a very good story and I enjoyed it. I received an advanced copy and freely leave this honest review.

This is a wonderful read about Kael ad Raven. They have nothing in common but are attracted to each other. This is a quick read and has a great storyline. The characters are developed and real interesting and pull you into the story. Once you start you can’t stop! Can’t wait for the next book! This one was the longest in the series and for that I'm glad. There was a lot that would have been missed if it followed the length of the others. I enjoyed their story and how it gave more to the sister's stories who were told first. Am interested in reading Lola's story now, but I am wondering why Catrin didn't get a story.
Fun little Series.

Good read full magic, supernatural characters, and finding your love. There is enough suspense to keep you interested and a good plot. The story can be read as a stand-alone, it is much richer if you read the first two books in the series first so you have the entire backstory.

I loved everything about this story. The slow burning love story of Regan and Caleb. Lots of drama, which kept me reading. Great characters and well written.

Book 3 of the series brings us our first chance to really know Regan. She has seemed to be a witch with a capital B in the previous two books, but when she is ambushed and bitten by a werewolf she is not quite so haughty. She is rescued by Caleb, who has an unusual relationship with werewolves. It turns out that it was his father that bit and turned Regan and he is the only werewolf in his pack that was born and not "made".

Caleb turned his back on his father, his pack, and the whole supernatural world. He has chosen to live as a human and since the full moon does not force him to shift he rarely lets his wolf out. When he hears a woman scream and goes to investigate he realizes he has stuck his foot back in the door of crazy. He takes Regan home with him to heal her and is not sure why he and his wolf are so worried about her. He tries to warn her about her first shift but can tell she doesn't believe him. He is conflicted about getting any more involved in the dealings of witches and werewolves.

Regan is an old and powerful witch. She is sure there is a way to undo the werewolf change, she just has to find it. Meanwhile, she also has to figure out who is behind her forced transition and figure out how to keep her sisters safe. When Caleb shows up to help her with her first shift she is glad to have his help, and happier to wake up naked with him in the morning!

Witches, werewolves, demons, vampires, and shapeshifters come together in this tale of power struggles and revenge.

I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
