Oh! great, whose real name is Ito Ōgure (大暮維人 Ōgure Ito) is a Japanese manga artist most recognized for the manga series Tenjho Tenge and Air Gear. In 2006, he received the Kodansha Manga Award for shōnen for Air Gear. Apart from working with manga, he designed some of the alternate character outfits in the PlayStation 2 version of Namco's 3D fighting game Tekken 5, and a guest character in Soul Calibur IV named Ashlotte.
His pseudonym "Oh! great" is a play on words. His pen name, written in Japanese order, is "Ōgure Ito", which is pronounced similarly to and can be romanized the same as the Japanese rendering of the English words "Oh great," ōgurēto. Furthermore, "Oh" can mean "king" in Japanese, making it possible to read the name as "the great king".
Another phenomenal volume and Oh!Greats art just takes this entire series to a whole new level. Araragi is finally learning that there are consequences for people's decisions especially ones that put other people in danger. You can't punch your way outta this one and can't kill your way into someone's heart. Love is not that easy.
Oshino♥️🥺 Amazing volume!! Surprising ending is all I need!! Oh, and I need another volume but the publishing house in my language publishes Bakemonogatari really rarely :(
Cet arc commence vraiment à me plaire.
Coming to her home to understand events from the previous night Koyomi discovers the origin of Suruga's aberrant arm and as he is prone to do has brought her to Meme Oshino for his advise on the matter. There are only a few options available to help but the easy options are not acceptable and the final choice will not be easy. Koyomi is going to give it his own to save his perverted kohai from a rainy devil and possibly herself.
I can understand how this became one of the books banned from the Amazon store considering some of the depictions of young looking Shinobu could be construed as less than innocent but Oh! Great continues to impress me with his style of artwork as he captures the strange series this manga is based on. One such scene of Hitagi in a maid costume holding an omelet with the word Smelt is a perfect call back to recent events. :)
Thrilling and riveting, the Suruga Monkey story continues in compelling fashion. Can Araragi reach Kanbaru before something more unfortunate happens? I’m consistently surprised and in awe of how gripping the story is and how it drags you along for the adventure. No dull moments so far, no wasted efforts, everything is intentional and incredible. Fifth volume is a slam dunk!
