Terrible! Does not reflect the true nature of the time period in which it's written. I believe it may have been initially penned for an advanced degree/ dissertation of some subject matter - perhaps Sociology. It is very poorly written - poorly edited. Don't waste one's time, effort, or money.

Hillbilly Elegy is one of the worst books ever. Written by one who is against what women stand for. DO NOT read the book.

It was so boring and this scenario has happened to so many other people, I see nothing interesting about this book, I couldn't finish. I was so bored.
