Normalerweise lese ich die Bücher von Folsom innerhalb eines Tages, und bei diesem musste ich mich so zwinge, dass ich Seiten nicht überspringe... es war so langweilig 🙈

I’ve been hoping we’d get to see who the IT guru, Pearce, would end up with! Lucky for us, it’s anything but simple. While I ended up guessing the “twist” relatively early, it was still a good (and very dirty) ride.
Pearce is often relegated to the “guy in the chair” role in most of the Stealth Guardians action. We don’t know a whole lot about him, but that all changes in this book. It begins with one of Winter’s visions, one where Pearce is stabbed by a woman. What do they do? Of course they track down said woman using his super computer sleuthing skills. In typical “I’m going to end up with my mate” fashion, he hides most of what he knows and does from the others in the compound, which only ends up biting him.
Daphne is going through a lot - she’s on probation for a hacking offense, and now she’s got to deal with thugs to get her brother free. It’s at this point when Pearce meets her and they connect under completely false pretenses. With lots of trust issues around, this also leads to trouble. Don’t worry though, it is completely made up for some filthy good times. This book is definitely the dirtiest and I’m not mad about it. These books just keep getting better and better!

Winter has had a vision of Pearce being stabbed with his own Guardian dagger. So he heads on a hunt for the human that stabs him to change the future and finds another computer geek who needs help rescuing her brother. He also finds a soulmate.
Though amateur, the way it was presented made it an interesting scam. And Pearce and Enya sure think fast on their feet.
The final situation and conflict at the end was both hilarious and cool. I loved the interaction between the different characters. But I wish there’d been more scenes and info about the previous Guardian characters and what happened with Enya’s brother.
Fave scenes: getting the stroganoff from the store freezer and the fight at the cosplay convention.

Daphne will einfach nur ihre Vergangenheit hinter sich lassen. Doch ist nicht so einfach. Pearce ist unser Nerd, der uns in diesem Band zeigt, was er noch so drauf hat. Neben der spannenden Geschichte und den wunderbaren Charakteren bekommt man auch die kleine Liebesgeschichte zwischen den beiden gezeigt. In dieser Geschichte gab es auch, so viele humorvolle Szenen, die mich immer wieder zum Lachen gebracht haben. Liebesgeschichte war einfach süß. Die Geschichte hatte einige neue Aspekte von der Reihe gezeigt. Die Seiten sind nur so dahin geflogen und man fragt sich immer wieder, wann geht die Vorhersehung zur Realität oder konnte sie die Zukunft nicht verändern.

Loved it.

Can the visions be changed?
It's Pearce, the computer nerd's turn to try to find happiness. The biggest problem is that he may find happiness but the person he finds it with is foretold to be the one who kills him. Can he change Winter's vision?
I love the cosplay section in this book the best. Enya is up next!

What can one sat Tina has done it again. A fantastic book, well written and engaging. I like the way that Scanguards and Stealth Guardians have combined forces. I can recommend Tina’s books, and have to many people.

Don’t know why I held off reading this. It was so good I finished it in one day. glad Pearce was able to get out from behind his desk to meet his hacking match in Daphne. I also LOVE that scansguards is wrapped in this story
