Loved it!
Kim clings to her safe routines and Dani, after a breakup, became more frightened of loss than ever. The feelings for each other are so clear that it's hard to see they wouldn't act on their attraction sooner. There are many awkward moments between the main characters and both are carrying a lot of baggage. Baggage that stand in the way of their romance. Their path toward lasting love becomes even more complicated by self-doubts. There are many hurdles to overcome. This is a light-hearted and engaging lovestory. The pace is reasonable and the characters are relatable. Altogether a good read.

This third book didn’t disappoint. I really enjoyed this last story. Dani was a nice addition to the group of friends. Kim finally realized that sometimes the family you make is more important than the one your born to. I loved the whole series.

Dani moves to the island looking to fulfill some dreams when she meets her daughter’s teacher and instantly feels love’s first bloom.
Dani moves to Schiermonnikoog to fulfill new dreams with her daughter. She buys a house, starts the garden for her flower shop, and enrolls her daughter into school. On the first day of school she meets Kim, her daughter’s teacher. She is struck silent as she thought pre-school teachers only looked liked her in the movies.
Kim is equally as awestruck by Dani. Kim grew on the island and seeing someone as fresh and beautiful as Dani has Kim entranced. They both dance around the possibilities. Dani has secrets about her life she is not ready to share for the impact they may have on her daughter. Kim, on the other hand, has her own fears to faces.
Fear to take the next step on both their parts may kill the bloom before it even has a chance to grow.
I never know where Emily Engberts is going to take me. I think this is the fifth book I have read of her’s and they are all different. A Blooming Spring of Love (B07Q5GNNG7, 2019) is the third book in the “Seasons of Love” series and it is completely different than the others.
This is a slow-burn romance which concentrates on how Dani and Kim feel about themselves. The ability to love oneself before you can love another is the theme. This is not to say there is not some flirting and passionate conversation, there is plenty of that. This is an emotionally intense book for the characters. They cry a lot. (laugh)
It is funny because Kim is in the first book and I had no clue from what she presents on the outside that she felt the way she did. So it was surprising to get this glimpse into her psyche, but is that not the way it works?
I love the character of Dani. I want a Dani. (laugh) She is fresh and passionate. I also love her secrets. (You will too). I think you will root for Kim and Dani (oh look I wrote a pun - just realized (laugh).) Spring time is a time for new beginnings, growth, and yes, love. Enjoy A Blooming Spring of Love just in time for the flowers to bloom. ✶✶✶✶

This is the 5th book I've read written by Emmy Engberts; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Teacher and a parent what could go wrong!
Two ladies each with their own demons to slay and a young kindergartener who is very smart. Also in the mix are two sets of parents ,one set is supportive and the other set has to stop judging. Enjoy!
