Welp Zahir painted himself as this whole man wanting whole love in book two but we learned in this final installment that he isn’t as whole as he portrayed. We learned why he was so apprehensive when it came to Solar and I’m glad he was finally able to make peace with his past so that he and Solar could finally move forward.
This was a good series overall but I feel like it could have been a two part series or even one 100 page novella. Breaking the story up into 3 books felt unnecessary and then the abrupt ending had me wanting more!
Ugh, does do as he says because I need more. I know and hope there's a fourth installment/part 🤔. You can't end my hopes on that. I want more of Nahzir and Solar!!! I'm loving your short reads, but ugh I need and demand more, 😏🤗. Again I recommend this couple. I want to find out the to be continued part. Job well done! Does Nahzir do as he says? 1 week?
Grey is an excellent storyteller, she really knows how to craft short stories. Gradually Yours series is pretty good but it’s unfinished (ugh!). I need an update on Solar and Nazhir!
I'm definitely left craving more from Nahzir and Solar's story. It's like, I'm hooked and I just can't shake the feeling that there's more to their tale. The ending left things hanging – sure, we could guess it's a happy-ever-after vibe, but it's not set in stone, right? I was really feeling it when Solar pressed Nahzir about his past pains; it was such an insightful moment into his character and his dynamics with her. Grey Huffington's work is quickly making its way up my favorites list – haven't come across a miss from them yet.
This book wasn’t as good as the other two. Honestly, this book makes Solar look exactly the way Nahzir said she would. She wasn’t ready and needed to heal. All that rah rah Nahzir was saying in the last two books and he shows up to the hotel and catches her lip locked with her high school crush on the elevator. Instead of him leaving and standing on the business he had been standing on and showing her why she wasn’t ready, he washes her mouth with soap and tells her he’ll be back in a week. Yea…he was all over the place and she was immature.
Extremely likable male/female protagonists. Predictable plot, but enjoyable nonetheless. I wish the author's would stop "stepping on their books" for more profit. It becomes old after awhile and you become jaded and reticent to purchase future works. But maybe that's just me.
Solar finds herself in the most oddest of situations when it comes to Nahzir. Once she realizes why he's the way he is, it forces him to acknowledge it. Two broken people will not work as one whole. They will both need to heal in order to work together. There has to be another book with their story. If not, I definitely need one!
While I'm enjoying the journey that these two are on, I didn't like the way the book ended. I feel like there's more to their story... at least I hope it is. Hopefully we get more one day.
This was not sufficient 😞 Solar found herself dealing with Nahzir's past insecurities he didn't realize he was carrying. The story was going so well, but ended abruptly and was definitely unfinished.
Now why did this book turn Nahzir into pure comedian without even trying?
I was crying laughing because sir… who told you that discipline plus chaos was attractive like this? The cemetery scene took me out completely the way he knows he’s already down bad but still talking reckless had me shaking my head and smiling. Then this fool made her walk up all those stairs drunk in heels. Men like this need a warning label. She walked up those stairs tho 😏
The soap to the lips and two week punishment sent me because Nahzir really said structure will save us both. He’s not a square by any means but he is very much about control, boundaries and consequences!! Got this man out here fighting in a parking lot smh. Solar mmhmm she can handle him. That’s the key. When you choose a man like that, you better be built for it and she absolutely is. All she heard was "My Woman"
What I loved most is how happy Solar is when she's with him. She knows she’s chosen and protected, even when he’s being ridiculous. Watching her get her man and keep her joy made this such a satisfying close. Redemption not distraction.
This series really did what it needed to do. It gave tension, laughter, growth and love without dragging it out. Yasssss… it definitely left me wanting more too.

Hunter had the woman that most men can only dream about. She kept the house in order, sexed him on command, ran with the best in the body shape department, yet like most men, Hunter still wanted his peter to be a part of the community. Solar finally got sick and tired trying to be perfect for a cat who couldn't reciprocate loyalty. Just for once, she wanted to say 🖕🏿it and let her hair down. Although Nahzir was attracted to the broken type, he was very much struggling with his own brokenness. His last relationship left his mind in turmoil, making it hard for him to move on until he faced the guilt that was eating him alive. Another series I enjoyed. I kinda felt cheated in the end, I just wanted a little more, an epilogue or something. Nevertheless it was an enjoyable read. 4.5*
I know this can’t really be the end?!? Solar made Nahzir lose his cool. His feelings were all over the place and he didn’t know how to deal with them. He tried shutting down but that didn’t work. He tried silence, but that didn’t work. He tried running away but that didn’t work. He had no choice but to go to the place that held his true pain on lock down. He was forced to acknowledge, address and let go of his hurt and guilt. Because of his growing feelings for Solar he had to let them off the leash and break free - to heal, to grow and to make space for love. He didn’t leave her so I guess that’s our happy for now. I wanted more though but it’s just not Ms Greys style. Good read
No ma'am. No ma'am. No ma'am. Please tell me GH did not just do us like this?! First of all, I'm a big fan of GH shorties; especially when I'm in the mood for a sexy quick read, but why Book 3 gotta end like this though?!😩 And where all these men coming from?! That elevator scene made me wanna fight somebody! And speaking of which, how in THEE hell did Hunter feel comfortable cheating on Solar with men practically salivating over her. I appreciate Nahzir telling Solar she was coming home with him, but how you gonna let us not read about the make up sex!🤣🤣
Solar is a broken soul who is trying to piece her life back after having her heart broken by the man that she loves. Throughout this short series, we see her falling for Nahzir who has his own internal issues when it comes to love and being broken. This was a very sweet and sensual story with a well thought out plot. Nothing is left to be desired, this story is straight to the point. I loved it
Ok. So. The story the context was A1. The length was teasing to put it mildly. Call it a baby novelette. I mean, it's term paper, 35% of your total grade short. Where. Is. The. Rest. This would be better if it was a serial and I knew that I was only going to get a few chapters at a time.
This was good, but let's face it; ALL your books are good! I'm sooooo mad it's over. (As usual) lol i need more. I need to know what happens next?? Whyyyyy? Why do u always leave us wanting more? Guess i can't be too mad. You, wouldn't be a good writer, if u didn't leave the readers wanting motes, right? 😉
Okay, loved it, that he recognized what that was between Ray and Solar, but needed to be a little more filled in and in tune with his feelings. Yeah, I know I'm a woman who's in tune with my feelings, but I needed a little more feelings and emotion from Mr. Nahzir. Love the chase though. ReneeG
Ok so this entire series is good! I am loving Nah!! I am however ticked by how short these books are! I mean three different books could’ve been one and longer and charged one price! For a full novel! I would love for this author to have longer books...just when you are getting good book it’s over. I mean is there another book coming out? So many unanswered questions 🙄
Wait Grey, where is book 4? I don’t want to make my own ending, I need the rest. Idk who had me more stressed out, Solar or Nahzir, but I definitely feel like this is a connection they better not pass up on. Will they end up together? I don’t even know, bc my friend Grey has upset me once again lolllll.
After settling his heart and beginning his healing, Nahzir is ready for Solar! He catches her in a compromising situation with a no name, chastizes her and lets her know he'll be back to claim his woman in a week! Whew this man is swoon worthy and definitely need more! Great read Grey!!!!
Lol this man is playful !!! I wish there was a part 4 because I want to see how they ended up together but it’s fine. That ex reallyyyy tried it but in the end, he was never gonna win. It was always Nahzir ! And not Solar writing her own poem 😁😁 my girl !! Really quick and nice series.
I have enjoyed this series. I usually skip over these short stories. But, this one is really good. Every time I see a new post for one I get excited. I hope this is not the end for Solar and Nazhir.
Whew! That dang ‘ol Nahzir! I mean what more can I say? Each novella gets better and better. Grey Huffington is a phenomenal writer, storyteller, magical with the pen (or keyboard)...she never disappoints. Keep them coming, Sis!
I’m loving Nazhir. That punishment and putting his foot down was everything. The beat down for Hunter was just what he needed. I’m glad Solar found him they are just what each other needed. Great short!
Wow. I’m trying to figure out what will happen next. What an abrupt ending but I need more!!! I hope you decided to do a full novel on Solar and Nahzir because it’s sooo necessary. They are so much fun to read about.
Grey continues to wow us with Solar and Nahzir. They are simply amazing together and I could read about them for hours. Nahzir is a real man and Solar was definitely not giving up on him. Loved this short series, but would love to read more about this couple.
