Everything in her life is as normal as can be expected when you grow up in a town that has no idea it’s forgotten its own history and brushes off paranormal phenomena on account of how often it happens. Until she gives in to her curiosity about the new boy in town Grey Addison.

A married mother of 4 (and one cat, who sort of thinks he's human, anyway), I'm fascinated by paranormal phenomena & ancient cultures, and have received several awards and nominations for my amateur writing (from 2007 to 2012, at which time I chose to opt out of nomination eligibility, because I'd signed with a publisher).
I'm extremely approachable, but painfully shy (note the mention of social anxiety above). This shyness is crippling, and often strips my of my ability to simply reach out to others. I am aware that to those who don't know this, my silence can often come across as snobbery. I promise you, that is not what it is. I'm extremely informal (as you've probably guessed), and laid back, I'm just basket case who trips trying to get out of her own way.
As a hobby, I write adult-rated fanfiction under the pseudonym Freya Ishtar (somehow this https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... is on good reads without my authorization or knowledge).

Wonderful
I have known Gerilyn a long time, and I knew she was a great mom and friend, but I had no idea she possessed such talent as a writer.
From the first word, the story pulls you in, and I found myself forcing myself to read slower so it wouldn't end. My one solace is that this is only book 1. I wait impatiently for the next installment.

Wow!!
This book was amazing!! I was hooked from the beginning.
Gerilyn is such a talented author and you actually feel as if you are experiencing everything alongside Candence and Grey.
I even got chills when reading certain scenes.
I definitely recommend it
