Book 7 in the Heroes of Henderson series by USA Today bestselling author Liz Kelly Jinx Davenport is certain “adulting” will be easier than her first twenty-one years on the planet and, dear Lord please, far more satisfying. She may have a mild obsession with the town of Henderson, but it’s led to an opportunity with the potential to change everything for Jinx. On the way to the interview—make that her dream job interview—satisfaction reveals itself in the form of one golden-haired Southern boy, wearing an eager grin and a backward ball cap. So far Henderson is shaping up to be exactly as advertised. Jaxon Wright is certain no grown-ass man should be subjected to moving back in with his folks. But after his NASCAR dream dies a quick and merciless death, he’s back sharing living quarters with the bossiest of his four older brothers. Still, even hungover and dejected, his head isn’t stuck so far up his ass that he doesn’t realize the cute-as-shit, wannabe librarian has a secret. A big one. And Jaxon is exactly the guy to seduce it out of her. Yes, ma’am. Mr. Wright Now, at your service. All the books in the Heroes of Henderson Series are complete romances. They do not need to be read in order, but it might be more fun that way as characters continue to show up in Henderson in big ways and small. USA Today bestselling author of the Heroes of Henderson Series.

Liz's Heroes of Henderson series grew out of the New Year's Eve Anthology, Countdown To A Kiss, where the Devine Sisters of Henderson, N.C. had a bet every year at their parents' New Year's Eve ball. The sister who didn't have a date to kiss at midnight had to kiss their nerdy neighbor, Lewis Kampmueller.

Duncan James, the hero of Liz's novella in Countdown To A Kiss (which has also been published separately as Playin' Cop) is not only best friends with Lewis, but with both Brooks Bennett and Vance Evans, his fraternity brothers from NC State. Brooks and Vance are the Henderson cops who kick off the series with Good Cop and Bad Cop.

Recurring characters is the theme of the Henderson series. Each book is a complete romance in and of itself, but you won't lose touch with the couples you fall in love with. They keep playing big parts and small in following books as Brooks and Vance lead Team Henderson in finding ways to revive their small town.

"DuVal Cousin" books are an additional part of the Heroes of Henderson series, and usually are tucked in between books with numbers like 2.5 and 3.5. They can be full length novels or short novellas, and they are based on Lolly DuVal's (from Good Cop) Henderson cousins. Where the Heroes books are hero-centric, the DuVal Cousin books are heroine based.

Henderson is an actual town in North Carolina where some of Liz's favorite people were raised. Liz's version of Henderson is completely fictional since she hasn't had the pleasure of going back in nearly thirty years. But oh the fun she had while visiting there in her youth. Her memories are the perfect landscape for her contemporary romances.

Liz enjoys putting friends and readers in cameo appearances in her books. Originally from Baltimore, she spent every summer near Annapolis, Maryland in a community where dancing and romancing are literally part of its theme song. (The place where Jesse James gets banished from in Bad Cop. There is going to be a series about that place someday.)

A graduate of Wake Forest University, where she met her handsome golf-addicted husband, (who is now sporting dark glasses everywhere he goes) Liz is a mother of two grown sons (also sporting dark glasses) and a miniature Labradoodle named Isabelle. They live in the Fountain of Youth, a.k.a. Naples, FL where dancing and romancing continues on ad infinitum.

The Heroes of Henderson Series in order:
Playin' Cop (or Countdown To A Kiss if you want the whole story.)
Good Cop
Bad Cop
Taming Molly
Top Dog
Tempting Vivi
Kissing Cooper ~ A Christmas Quickie
Under Dog (Coming soon.)

I give Mr. Wright Now by Liz Kelly Five Stars. This is book number seven of the Heroes of Henderson Series and can be read as a stand alone although I would suggest reading the whole series. This book has many characters in it from the previous books so if you plan to read the series don't read this one first. This book had me on the edge of my seat wondering how it was going to play out in the end. This book is very well written and an easy read.

Jinx Davenport a beauty with brains spent the first twenty-one years of her life with a nose in books studying so she is hopeful that next twenty-one years will be more fulfilling and fun. The first thing on her list to accomplish as an Adult is to land her dream job in Henderson, a town she has been obsessing over for a while. But the universe has a funny way of working and on her way to the interview she stops to help a stranded motorist and she comes face to face with a golden-haired Southern boy, wearing an eager grin and a backward ball cap that lights her insides on fire.

Jaxon Wright dream was to work on the NASCAR circuit and when that dream dies a quick death he finds himself back home in Henderson living with his parents figuring out what to do with his life. When he finds himself on his way to help a stranded motorist and runs into the cute-as-shit, wannabe librarian, he soon figures our that she has a secret and not just a small one.

Will Jaxon be able to get Jinx to tell the big secret or will she kept it to herself? You have to read it to find out what happens!!

Mr. Wright Now is the next book in the Henderson Series and tells the story of Jaxon Wright and Jinx Davenport. Little does Jinx know that when she comes to town to apply for a job at the library her life will forever be changed.

Every time I pick up a Liz Kelly book I am blown away by her story telling talent. Her ability to tell a new and fresh story each and every time, along with adding such fun and humor to the story that makes the reader laugh so very hard out loud as well as the fact that she knows these characters so well and knows what makes them tick. A visit back to Henderson is like going home to see family. Her characters are so likeable, the stories blend so well together in this series although you can read them as standalones. You can’t help but fall in love with each and every character she brings to the story. Ms. Kelly’s love for her Henderson series and the people she has woven in each book shines through very clearly; and the stories in this series gets better and better with each new book. The plots are new, fresh, fun, and hilarious with loving and very close knit families. If you have missed this series do yourself a favor and start today. This is a book that I will read again and again!

Mr. Wright Now is a great read to continue "life" in Henderson or as a beginning to "life" in Henderson and the series. Either way you will not be disappointed. The character development is exceptional, you are a member of the family before you leave the book. The awesome wit of the author is ever present while this story offers surprises I do not think anyone expected. Many of our favorites visit in and out of this romance. Oh, and Hale may or may not have a secret...
I now have a crush on Jax. Of course, I am in love with the hero in whichever book I am reading in the Heroes of Henderson series by Liz Kelly.

One of the most entertaining series ever! I fell in love with the first book. Although I thoroughly enjoyed each book, none compared to Bad Cop, my favorite since falling for Vance, until this book. What an emotionally charged book! I did some serious crying and laughing and feel-good smiling. Liz Kelly hit it out of the park with this one. One of the best parts about this series is that you get monthly bonus material while you wait for the next book through her newsletters. I enjoy her books like I do Janet Evanovich. Brilliant! Book gifted to me.

I received an ARC copy for an honest review.
Jaxon Wright has finally come home to Henderson. Jinx Davenport drove in from Richmond VA. for an interview at the library.  How they meet was the beginning of a twist I would never have imagined. The Even's family is really thrown for a loop. So So GOOD!  I did not want this book to end. Life in Henderson is so exciting.

Jax & Jinx met by chance, love by choice

Finding out your mother was married before and had a son she left behind who is also your brother. Everything is not what it seems on either side. Do you get to stay and become part of the new family of go back to the old one. Only to be lonely no matter where you go

Can’t get enough

Liz Kelly brings you back to Henderson with twists and turns that will keep you turning the page. The characters shine with every twist and provide so many different laughs while still addressing you with an earnest look at the issues of abandonment and loneliness. So worth reading again!

I love any taste of this small town that I can get. This time we're meeting another Wright brother who's come home, Jax. Add to that wonderful mischief one brainy librarian by the name of Jinx Davenport and a HUGE twist you would not have guessed and this trip back to Henderson is going to have you on the edge of your seats devouring every word!!!

Braun meets brains when Jaxon Wright and Jinx Davenport meet in Henderson and all hell breaks loose for the Evans family. I loved the characters, the emotional depth of the story and the ripple effect that affects all of the characters we have come to know and love in this captivating series. I especially enjoyed the slow burn chemistry between Jinx and Jaxon and the brotherly bickering between Xavier and Jaxon that is hilariously entertaining. One thing I know for certain is that I never want this series to end! And, as always, I loved the wonderful narration performance of Charles Lawrence who personifies Henderson in every way.

Henderson native & NASCAR wannabe makes his return to town, partly because of his job situation, partly because of his mom’s health. But whatever the reason it was perfect timing for Jinx Davenport’s arrival in the “ideal hometown”.
Jinx’s parentage comes as a obvious surprise to the Evans’ inner circle & me! Didn’t see that one coming. I loved reading how Jinx turned Mr. Wright Now into Mr. Perfect for her & how she rocks Vance’s world.
