My favorite dark read EVER!!
Oh. My. God. That was amazing. I know I shouldn’t have enjoyed that dark of a read as much as I did but I don’t care!!! It was hot and SOOO dark and morbid and I f***ing loved it!!! No shame here!
With that being said, this book was full of dark themes including rape, kidnapping, public humiliation, whips, and lots of blood. So if you only like to read sweet romances that make you compare your husbands to the hunk you read about in your books, just skip over this book. This is not a sweet romance where the men whisper sweet nothings in the woman’s ear while promising her the world. And that ending... oh man! It was fantastic!
Even though Ember was being held against her will, I couldn’t help but find the entire scenario to be hot as f***. I found myself begging Ember to just submit to the 3 men, but I loved reading about her defiance and her punishments. I really hope the authors continue this series because I cannot wait to see where this goes.
I’m pretty sure this is the only review I’ve ever posted where I’ve dropped the f-bomb because I cannot contain my emotions after reading Ember! 😂😂
I highly suggest this read to anyone who enjoys reading dark themes books with elements of BDSM, fantasy, post-apocalyptic, lots of HOT SEX, and RH.

Triggering and dark.
So i read saphyre and just like that book ember is a dark twisted read. It’s not for everyone but I enjoyed the darker side of this book. Would i ever wish embers date on anyone fuck no but it was still good to read. There was some world building that i wish more of but damn was this hot.
Please understand that this is a good book and it’s completely fictional. The darkness with in the pages is grueling but enjoyable. If you don’t enjoy the darker side of fiction please move along.

This book gave me the feels. Like I swear normally I wouldn't like this type of story line but I couldn't stop reading. Never a dull moment that's for sure. If there's a second out there to be written... You bet damn sure I'm gonna read it. Both authors have a done such a great job with this book. I would recommend reading this.

Holy effin blackout Batman!!! This book tho! 1st let me say- READ THE WARNING. If you can’t handle, or don’t enjoy PITCH BLACK (dark doesn’t capture it), then don’t proceed. BUT, let me also say, if you don’t read this book- you’re missing out on one of the best books you’ll EVER read! I can’t believe how AMAZING it is! I’m speechless, which is good because I refuse to spoil this for you, and you don’t want me to. I never saw that coming, and it couldn’t have been any better. YOU HAVE TO READ TIL THE END. No matter what you think- KEEP GOING. CHECK MATE BISHES. Loxley and Scarlett, yall killed it. Buried it. Dug it up and killed it again. Thanks boo’s <3

The Snow Savage team have created another star!! This book is dark, sexy and intriguing. The storyline and plot draw you in instantly. The characters have depth. Some you even come to love to hate. Everyone who loves dark RH must read this. Hopefully, there will be more from the Snow/Savage team. They are unbelievably awesome and can't wait to read more.

Women...
Never underestimate a pissed off woman especially when you think you have her under control! Ember is no push over and her limits are pretty much deadly, the King and his Warriors find out the hard way. This is a good story with great characters that make you want scream and hope they get theirs... it’s a good recommend !

Wow just WOW!!
I just can’t believe it. I’m in shock. That was amazing! Ember is such a strong a$$ woman who remained strong till the very end. Then that ending! Yes!! Oh my gosh!! But I need to know what happens to her sisters!

Totally worth the wait
This book is a great read, yes there is some darkness , yes the authors make that clear in the blurb ...this little gem was worth the wait ! I will highly recommend this book !

Great read
I had the great fortune of reading this gem before it was so rudely banned from Amazon. I must say it was a great read and I am not sure why it was banned. Depraved in the most delightful way! Will support this series 100%

For the first time I will emphasise ** PLEASE ** check the CONTENT WARNINGS at the beginning there are explicit and horror scenes.
Look after yourself and if doubt then skip this book.
This is an Adult read. It is DARK, violent, features public humiliation, biting, blood, degradation, imprisonment, kidnapping, rape, forced proximity, whipping. Dragons, Nightstalkers
The Kings of Emperia have a Harvesting to choose the mother to birth their sole Heir, King Cassius picks Ember. Ember is Aurelian, a much coveted and hunted race of human who holds a secret.
Cassius and his men, Angelo and Ryder are Manticore and they need her to submit.
You admire Ember, her strength, moxie and feel for her through out and the ending? Wow! Caught me out! And Boy did I laugh out loud. Simply superb.
This book is not for everyone, not a light, fun read. It is heavy, emotional, tumultuous, dark, violent and will have you wincing in places; it has a select audience.
The spice is off the chart, plot strong and the characters so well written that you have a love hate relationship even with the Manticore.
To say I loved this book, considering the content, sounds depraved but I did, however did I have to take a break and read a palate cleanser halfway through? Yes!
Extremely well written with an exquisite ending. Will read more in the series if given the chance but at present am unable to ascertain if any have been written.

Warnings Abound, Erotica, NOT Romance
Where to start?
Firstly, Lifestylers - you will understand this book to a T, Doms and Subs alike will understand all the thought processes.
Vanillas, you probably won’t get it, some of you will and more power to you, you have a little dark corner in there somewhere.
The MFC is a submissive, we war with our brains, quite often we are rebels, fighters, at all times we are strong.
Yes, there are ‘rough’ scenes, yes there is a heavy whipping scene, but if you got that far, keep going.
May I just say, the ‘rough’parts are no worse than Ramsey and Theon on Game of Thrones, the whipping is no worse than Jamie’s in Highlander, and so much milder than The passion of Christ by Mel Gibson, they are all shown on TV!
The MFC is strong, she has life beliefs and standards she lives by to the nth degree. Her flip of the tables at the end, the start of her revenge made me roar with laughter, she now holds the power and I can’t wait to see where she takes it next.

I can honestly say there wasn't any redeeming characteristics for the male characters in this book for me. I would have been happy if all three "masters" were bleeding out at Ember's feet where they belonged imo. Now Ember is the interesting character for me. She fought against them and her own biology with admirable determination. The scenes were quite severe in some instances so I would keep that in mind before picking this one up. It had a engrossing storyline which kept my attention but also left me wanting to know more about this world and the other two female characters. I sympathized with Ember when she finally seemed to have reached her limit but she still had an ace up her sleeve which gave me quite a laugh at the end . This isn't a romance but a dark riveting read that I could not look away from.

Warning: this book is DARK. I mean, steal your soul and make you question your morals, My mother would kill me if she knew I was reading this, Grandma would have a heart attack, DARK. Regardless, it is so dark and so on FIRE!! If you can handle the dark and depraved, this book is so for you! Mop and bucket morning ahead ladies and gents, you’re gonna need to clean up after this one. Five star all the way!

This is a very dark story with scenes that may be triggering. That being said, I enjoyed the story building and look forward to the next story in this series.
