Ten years ago, Commander Lucas Brighton left behind everything safe and familiar in hopes of outrunning his family’s legacy. For a while it worked. For a while, he was more than just the son of a killer or the heir to a pharmaceutical empire. Now, instead of his coveted command post on Alpha X4, he spends his days in an underground lab failing to turn a bunch of magical flowers into an effective treatment for infertility. When the king of the entire planet asks you to aid in the advancement of human medicine, you do it. For Jael Moonmist, that means leaving Xenthian for the first time in her long life and traveling across the galaxies to a strange, unknown world. Arriving at the front door of the hilltop mansion, she holds few expectations. Least of which is meeting her soulmate, then having him pass out before she can even introduce herself. Their relationship gets off to a rocky start, but when a mishap in the lab leaves Jael suffering from a mysterious illness, Luke will do whatever it takes to save her. Even if that means abandoning everything and embarking on a frantic trek across the universe. With the clock ticking, can he reach the antidote on Xenthian in time, or will he be forced to watch as his new mate is consumed by the fever?

Love this series, Lucas and Jael are a great addition

Commander Lucas Brighton, heir to Hart Pharmaceutical, has been charged with finding a cure for the human female infertility problem using flower samples from Xenon. So far the research has not been going well.

Jael Moonmist has been asked by Vasili Blackthorn to travel to Earth and aid in the research for a cure for female infertility. She is honored to be trusted with such a mission. Her overprotective older brothers and sister are against it. Her oldest brother Xi, agrees to accompany her.
When Jael and Lucas meet, he faints. Jael is thrilled to have found her mate. When Lucas comes to, he has some adjustments to make. Finding that the beautiful women who was at his door is his mate is the easiest. What comes with it is going to take some time.
Their research compromised, and the betrayal almost cost Jael her life. Her older sister Syria and older brother Osian come to Earth no help support Jael and Lucas in their research and as a newly bonded couple.
Lucas's sister Cami and her mate Tariq, find a job helping Isla and her mates with the orphan children of Tarin.
Fast paced, sweet and steamy. Loved Jael's brothers and sister, hope they will get story as well as Jax and Maya's brother Talon. Love this series can't wait for the next book.

I've been a fan of the 3013 series since the very first book and books later, yeah number 16 adds to whole amazing factor.

His world needs new blood, well new babies mamas' its time embark on a new world for Jael. Lucas thought he could outrun destiny but found out you can't outrun fate.

This story has a couple of different layers, that get you invested. the characters they fun and enjoy their antics make you laugh. Oh yeah totally loved Xi. (hope to see him soon)

and they have a mystery afoot that adds a bit of the danger element that we love. some smexy heat to round the story out and you have a winner. enjoy

Normally I’m bitching about these books being so rushed that they are a waste of such a great world, characters and storylines… but I’m changing it up this time.

It still wasn’t long, but I can’t remember another one of this series that dragged. And it seemed to drag badly and still barely go anywhere - much later on. Plus, I can’t think of any other characters that I’ve felt less of an attachment to. Cami & Tariq are great, and I’ve looked forward to Lucas’s story, but I struggled to get invested in him, and really could do without the Moonmists, and their entire storyline.

So still a great world, but this book was pretty much a miss sadly.

New Installment...

Yay! A new installment in the 3013 Series. I really enjoyed this one. Luke was a great hero and could be absolutely hilarious at times. Jael a very sweet heroine and funny too and experiencing things through her eyes was really neat. The two of them as a couple worked very well. Their siblings also added depth and fleshed out the story nicely. I really do love these books and can't wait for more!

Fun

This one was a little silly compared to the last book where it was serious and boring this one held some fun and fitness and I loved it for that. It's nice to see old characters and new and some we don't know. It was nice to see there was some light day the end of the tunnel for the women who can't have kids. Loved the play of Characters. It has been to long waiting. For this book to come to us can't wait for the next instalment

Since the very beginning I’ve loved the 3013 series. As soon as a new one is released, it’s on my kindle and shhh I’m reading goes into effect. Luke and Jael’s story is a great addition to this series. Fever, like it’s predecessors, is a unique read full of interesting characters and individual challenges. Loved it.

Finally! Another 3013 book!

I’ve been waiting on another book in the 3013 series. I like the idea of combining sci-fi and magic into one world. Luke’s transformation is quite significant and possibly should have required a bit more of an adjustment from him. Jaelle was a refreshing, innocent voice in a story dealing with betrayal and murder.

I love Sci Fi romances and adore the 3013 series. I just saw that a few new ones were added. I read #16
Fever. What a way to end the series! I wish it could go on in another direction away from the basic premise. Oh well, If you love Sci Fi and have even read a couple of the 3013 series, this one is NOT TO BE MISSED!

Fever & infertility

A lovely story but I did not understand why there were no more employees to work with Luke on such a critical fertility issue. Jael is a sweet breath of fresh air but I am unsure about her brother.

I have been reading this series since the very beginning. I love how the characters are so diverse from each other. Sometimes when a series is long running the stories start seeming like they are the same with different names. Not this one. I really hope that we see more books (preferably closer together so each story is fresh in our minds!).
