"How could this be so erotic? I didn't know, but I didn't want it to stop."

"I was bare underneath, my ruined panties still on the floor."David Raven met Angel when they were just teens. Both living in dysfunctional homes they found solace in each other. But they are soon separated by circumstances out of their control. Although years have passed and both have been through hell and back, they never forgot about each other. When fate brings them back together again, the stakes are high for them to overcome the evil deeds of their enemies.
"God his filthy mouth was going to ruin me."Told in multiple POV, The Butcher delivers smoking hot passion and a complex plot. The characters are explored thoroughly, emotionally and physically, through every turn of the page. The intensity of the circumstances and the deep emotional ties between the characters continued to draw me in with each passing moment. The pace of the read is fast and as to be expected, Ms. Aaron's storytelling is rich with description and witty text. I adored both of the main characters and the secondary characters only enhanced the plot that much more. Fans of the Dark Protector World will be thrilled to be back with some of their favorite characters from the series.
"Once you've tasted a perfectly ripe peach, nothing else can even come close."Overall, when Celia Aaron is writing, I am always ready to read. The Butcher is an absolute must-devour for those of us who love suspense and dark characters.

“I felt pierced, something inside me beginning to bleed. And she was the arrow, her gaze the razor tip that cut through every bit of muscle and bone and hit straight through the heart of me.”
“You’re cute.” I patted him on the arm – the ridiculously muscled arm. “But you don’t need to worry about me. I can take care of myself.”
“He returned to my clit, bring my wetness with him. “Once you’ve tasted a perfectly ripe peach, nothing else can even come close.”

«Faccio solo quello che mi sembra giusto, Angel. E tutto, con te, mi pare che lo sia.»
«È un errore.» Il suo petto si alzava e si abbassava, mentre con lo sguardo mi divorava ad ogni mio passo.
«Tu sei l’unica cosa nella mia vita che non è stata un errore.»
