Hiro Fujiwara (藤原ヒロ in Japanese) is a Japanese manga artist.
The manga artist was once active under her previous pen name, Izumi Hiro (和泉 ヒロ) at the end of the 1990's but has abandoned the name after she won the Best Rookie award in the LMS for Kaeri Michi, Yuki no Netsu.
Her first series, which is also her latest ongoing work, Kaichō wa Maid-sama! (会長はメイド様!, translation Maid Sama!) is currently serializing in Hakusensha's monthly shōjo manga magazine, LaLa. This series is licensed by Tokyopop for North America, and an anime adaptation was broadcast during Spring 2010.
I would never tire of Usui Takumi. I just hope he appears on the next chapter. For now it's more of Misa-chan. :) Doing her best learning how to be a proper lady fit for a Britain Noble. :P I really love this manga.
The book I am reviewing is volume no. 14 of the popular shojo manga series "Maid-sama!" The genres are romance and comedy. I thought this was a well written and illustrated book.
***Spoiler Alert*** The setting takes place at Seika High, which was formerly an all-boys school but became a co-ed school. Misaki Ayuzawa is the student council president and works hard to make the school a better environment for the small amount of girls. In this volume, Misaki gets the courage to finally allow the other students know that her and Usui are now dating, despite wanting to maintain her reputation as strict with the boys. Later on Misaki also gets some shocking news-- Usui will be transferring to Miyabigaoka High, a school for rich and important people. A major theme in this book is love.
The title of this series relates to the story because Misaki works part-time at a maid cafe which only one person knows about. The author builds tension and suspense by adding conflict between characters throughout the story as well. One example of this would be the interactions students from Seika and Miyabigaoka have with each other.
***Spoiler Alert*** I was surprised when everybody found out Misaki and Usui were dating. I liked how the author portrayed everyone's emotions about the situation. The characters were so impacted by this that they decided to see if anyone else could capture Takumi Usui's attention.
I would rate this book 5 stars because I like the plot and the art. I would recommend this book to people who enjoy reading manga, specifically romance and comedy. I hope that others enjoy this book as well.
The class trip continues. The boys and girls start getting along better than they ever have. It seems the trip had brought them together, and they are treating each other like friends for the first time. The president from Miyabigaoka shows up for some reason, and right after Usui drops the bomb that he’ll be transferring for his third year.
The lights go out, which gives Misaka and Usui time alone (with Usui’s shirt off). They talk about him transferring, and Misaka tells him she’s upset he decided without talking to her about it. She wants him to know he doesn’t need to go through life alone anymore. Then, suddenly, Maria shows up and interrupts them and takes Misaki back to her room.
The next day, Misaki gets separated from her group because she is helping an elderly lady with her bags. She comes across Usui as she’s helping, so the two of them end up exploring together. The elderly lady gives them some words of wisdom about not wasting the time they have together, which impacts Misaki to where she decides to hold hands with Usui in public, and soon her classmates are wondering if they are going out.
Sakura sneaks off with Kuga, and even Shizuko seems to be finding love with Suzuki (though she doesn’t recognize him without his glasses). When they get back to Seika, the rumors are flying about Misaki and Usui, but most of the school just doesn’t want to believe it. So Sakura organizes a Valentine's event where Usui turns down everyone's chocolates, except for Misaki’s, and calls her his girlfriend. So now it’s official. The day Usui transfers out, Misaki has everyone gather to say goodbye. Everyone is so sad to see him go. He says he doesn’t have a farewell speech, but instead he announces, “Ayuzawa is mine!” and kisses her in front of the whole school, shocking everyone.
At the beginning of the new trimester, a lot of people are upset because they're not in the class they wanted to be in. Also, Usui is there, to everyone’s surprise ( his school hasn’t started yet). Also, Suzuna is there. She definitely brings a fun element, and I can’t help but wonder if she and Hinata will end up a couple.
When Usui arrives at his new school, a bunch of elite students welcome him as if they were going to be a group of friends. At one point, Misaki calls him to yell at him for leaving a drawing of himself at her desk, and one of the new friends gets on the phone. She proceeds to tell Misaki she is Usui’s fiancée, so she will have to say goodbye to Usui soon. But Misaki isn’t going down without a fight and tells her that Usui is hers, and she won’t be handing him over.

This chapter finally brings the revelation to Seika High that Usui and Misaki are in a relationship, but pretty much immediately follows that with Usui leaving to transfer to the elite school.
Seems to be just a lot of set up for something bigger in this volume, especially with that last bit.
I'm expecting big things for the next volume.
Chapter notes below for reference: (spoiler heavy)
Another school trip, Shizuko had fallen in love with hideki for the first time, hideki is hot guy wearing glasses n love them. Sakura n that superstar guy love each other even though the both of them I hate character the most. Usui is going transfer school to miyabioka school when he's in third year class so he told misaki about it n also usui dropped by at misaki's class to draw at misaki table of him plus misaki scream at him on the phone when usui in his new school n meet his new classmate.Misaki sister, now in seika high n meet shintani, I bet misaki sister had crushed on shintani n give him cherry pie.

Well, it's very unexpected that Usui decide to transfer to Miyabigaoka.. but maybe his decision is related to his brother's condition.
Then, it can't be helped that not anyone could accept that Misaki and Usui are couple... But well, when they show of their love to each other, anyone can definitely knows that they are indeed a couple.
Imho, it's interesting to see Miyabigaoka high school from Usui's perspective. Maybe we can get more stories from there.
Oh, I just remembered that Misaki's younger sister, Shuzune(?) is enter Seika. I do wonder if at the end of the day Shintani will be with her.

C'est long...
What I've always found refreshing about this series is that there isn't unnecessary self doubt in the main relationship, but instead, they figure out how to address the issues while staying confident in their relationship.
