Too much! This is too much for my heart to handle. There was no mercy. The author threw one scene after another without the last one having settled in.
So far this volume is my favourite one of the series and one of my favourites of all the manga I've read.
Series Review: Maid-sama! Is a funny and entertaining manga that I thoroughly enjoyed. The characters were great and carried the manga through when the plot got a bit dull. The plot itself was entertaining. I definitely recommend giving this manga a try.
Misaki goes to England with Igarashi’s help. They first try to get into the castle by helicopter, but that doesn’t work. She dresses like a maid and tries to get into his room, but it’s locked. This is on the day that Usui is supposed to be presented to everyone as the other son. Gerald has gone to great lengths to get the people and the press behind Usui. His plan is that once he is presented, then his grandfather won’t be able to say no. But Misaki is throwing a hitch into the plans.
Gerald is onto Misaki and is following her around the castle, intent on catching her so she can’t intervene. They corner her, and she ends up jumping off a balcony onto the lawn and hurts herself in the process. Igarashi is carrying her in his arms when Usui sees this from the same balcony. He was supposed to be dressed to impress, but is practically half naked at this point, and jumps from the balcony when he sees Misaki being held by Igarashi. He takes Misaki in his arms and kisses her in front of everyone. This is how he presents himself for the first time, and then suddenly his grandfather appears. Gerald’s plans are ruined. Usui’s grandfather is furious and bans him from the castle. So now he and Misaki get to go back home together.
Maki, Igarashi’s butler, doesn’t like that he is interested in Misaki, so he gives Usui the play-by-play on Igarashi’s attempts to get closer to her while Usui was gone, with pictures, no less. Igarashi walks in on this and lets Maki know he is not pleased and will deal with him later. Then he and Usui have words. Usui basically tells Igarashi that he never had a chance with her, which irritates the hell out of him.
Later, Usui and Misaki finally get to be alone, and they are getting pretty intimate. It’s pretty hot, Usui keeps making Misa say his name (Takumi), and he’s on top of her on the bed, when the doorbell to their hotel room rings. It’s Igarashi and Maki, and they are intent on keeping them up all night playing board games.
At the airport, Misaki is thanking Igarashi for all his help when he suddenly pulls her into a kiss, right in front of Usui. Obviously, this is payback for Usui’s earlier comments. We see Usui is PISSED, but we don’t get to see what he actually does to Igarashi. The volume ends with Misaki being welcomed back home by all her family and friends, and it looks like Usui is back at their school.

Okay, so great volume as ever. I really like Gerald and I'm this || close to punching Igarashi. Although, begrudgingly, I have to admit that his character has become far more complex than initially anticipated. But the author is great at story telling and creating well-rounded, distinct, and greatly complex characters. Kudos to her!!
I think Usui's time in England was very bittersweet and Misaki's trip was to die for. Their reunion made me nearly pull out my hair, ngl. And them transitioning to first names is just... moe moe moe. And the fact that it was a dead-on replication of Erika and Subaru's impression of them nearly sent me into orbit. XD Also, Misaki jumping off the roof for Usui?? Ah!! Soulmates!!
But I imagined things turning out a bit differently in London, they just... Returned? No payoff?? There's definitely more coming and I wonder how it will be wrapped up in the final volume. There so many things I want out of it, too! I want Misaki's family to reunite for good, Suzuna x Hinata to become official, Usui's relations to not end completely, and to see my sweet idiot trio happy in the end. Wouldn't it be so funny if they end up working at Maid Latte, too??
And lastly, the bonus story at the end was hysterical, but what else did we expect?

There will be shintani n misaki moment so cute n love it. Tora n misaki moment is more interesting n funny at the same time ♥️especially the dance n the kiss part - when usui got jealous n Tora saw usui face for the first time - u know it when u read. Usui is too slowed trying to find the right clothes to wear when his gf is about to run from all the guards especially Gerard bodyguard n misaki well...she jump from the roof to the ground n it was good timing for Tora to get in time to save her from the fall. Love that part.♥️Tora n misaki moment♥️

I think this volume is the most dramatic story of this franchise. I mean, going to UK to save your boyfriend without any much thinking? Smh Misaki. It's irresponsible imho.
Then, the whole story in the UK is also very bizzarre. Luckily there is a scene when Misaki and Usui being together.
About Igarashi fell for Misaki, I kinda has expected that..even though not until to this extent to help Misaki...
I don't know about the last volume would be..but I think there are still a lot of unsolved problems here.

so much drama, but again, I'd like a little less family drama and a little more romantic drama. I have to admit: that helicopter scene got me, it was ridiculous and it actually made me laugh out loud, it gets points for that
