Bruce is a 40-something rockstar legend with a huge following and a favorite with the ladies...a rockstar who looks like a cowboy.
Auditions are being held for back-up singers for his upcoming tour and so enter Katrina, a single mom with a 7 year old son who she can barely afford to feed. Add into the equation he is sick...really the kind of illness that is every parent's nightmare...so landing this gig would be the answer to her prayers.
What follows is a romantic and loving story of what happens when "Mr.Bigshot who has more money than he needs but is so lonely and tired of being alone" meets the beautiful and tempting singer who can belt out his songs better than he can...and decides that he HAS to have her....essentially sweeping her off of her feet. This book was at times funny, at times sexy, at times just down-to-earth what happens when life makes you ashamed of yourself and circumstances make you desperate but too proud to accept help....and really so engaging that I read it in one sitting in a couple of hours.

Cover Me by Joanna Blake is bk 3 in the Rock Gods series. This is the story of Bruce & Kat. Bruce is an older Rocker who lived like there was no tomorrow until he was scared straight. Now he works out and lives alone while living in Las Vegas doing his singing career there. He’s about to start a new tour and is auditioning back-up singers when into his life walks in this ray of sunshine named Kat. She's a single mother to a sick child yet she has this amazing voice- BAM- Bruce is gonzo for her. Their love story is intriguing, intense, sassy, passionate and very satisfying. The plot is full of great characters, awesome romance and great storytelling. I enjoyed getting to know Bruce and Kat and to read how they met and the fireworks of their love story.

This is my first book from the Rock Gods series and will definitely be reading book 1 and 2 from this series.
Kat is a struggling single mom and Bruce is a very successful rock star. Bruce is having auditions for a back up singer and Kat was the chosen candidate. Although she auditioned for back up singer se was mostly doing solos and duets. They have such great chemistry between the two of them.
I just loved this book and highly recommend it to anyone who loves a great rockstar read.
Thank you Joanna Blake for yet another wonderful read.

Already being a huge fan of Joanna Blake, I expected nothing but pure enjoyment from here the next installment of her ROCK S TAR GODS series, and I was not disappointed by COVER ME. If you are familiar with Ms. Blake's other books, you can definitely expect this stor y, as with all of her others, to leave feeling the post-novel-high from a great HEA, but getting to it is the fun part.
Bruce is a musician in his 40's who's been in the "game" for a long time. He knows the players and how to play but is feeling burnt out by the whole "scene." The one thing that he hasn't lost is his love for music.
Katrina is a single mom struggling to support her son & mother, but barely making ends meet. She is auditioning to become one of the back-up singers for Bruce's upcoming shows in Vegas.
The 2 couldn't be more polar opposite if they tried... Bruce is a rock star with a huge home, brand-new EVERYTHING, & his choice of groupies to warm his bed. Katrina is an untrained, singing hopeful, trying to keep a home & food on the table for her sick little boy, while sleeping in her ancient car to ensure her employment.
But Bruce is drawn to Katrina's rawness, grounded attitude, & his desire to protect her. Katrina is pulled to Bruce by his charm, surprising warmth, & depth she doubts he lets everyone see.

Received an ARC of the book for an honest review. I really enjoyed this book. Don't want to give everything away but the story between Kat and Bruce is beautifully written. Kat has been dealing with a parents worst nightmare and Bruce comes through for her. He feels she is different and wants her in his redundant life. Joanna Blake does not disappoint. It's a nice story with a HEA.

OMG...……………………...another fantastic book from Joanna Blake.
I was pulled into the story from the first word written and stayed there until I had read the last word, all the time my little mini movie was playing in my head.
The emotions within the story can be felt, some will pull on your heart strings. All have a hand in making the story the awesome read that it is and are as equally important as each other. I actually felt each and every emotion at the same time as the characters, but I think I might of got slightly more frustrated with them.
The story is packed full of surprises, some you will see coming and others you won't, some are large some are some. A couple of times while reading the book, I tried to guess at what was going to happen next but I gave it up, as I didn't get any of them right, I am really bad at that.
I highly recommend this book and Joanna Blake as an author, if you haven't read any of her books, why not? All I have to say to you is that you are missing a really fantatasic experience, she is an author who right in different genre's so there is something for everyone. I personally have not read anything by her that I have not enjoyed.
I look forward to what is coming next.

What's a hot, aging (though not old by any means) rock star to do when his destiny walks in to open auditions for his Vegas show? First, not scare her away then make her his, obviously. Bruce doesn't know quite how to handle his feelings towards Kat, besides the obvious lust he has for her. Kat, at least outwardly, is having none of it however. She has more things that need her attention at home, namely a young son who is not well, and she needs to keep her job. There will be no sleeping with her boss. But the temptation is real, and when Bruce pulls out all the stops to help her her feelings get all muddled. However, a certain note slid under the door with a red thong inside create doubts and she runs. This is the second time she has run from him, but will Bruce give up? Or does he chase her down and convince her that she is his HEA? I read this book in one sitting and loved it. It is a stand-alone in the Rock Gods series, and the other rockers do make cameos, however you do not need to have read the first two to enjoy this story. I definitely recommend checking it out for yourself!

This is my 1st read and review for this author and this is a fantastic rockstar romance. Bruce is a 42 year old rockstar he doesn’t drink anymore especially after nearly dying in a car accident he’s also socially awkward plus he’s had enough of the groupies he wants a normal life but he still writes and plays his music. Katrina ( Kat ) lived with her mother and her 7 year old son Tommy who is ill, right now she is on her way to a audition to be a backup singer for a famous rockstar she badly needs the money for her sons hospital bills etc but she is running late. When Kat arrived she was nearly denied a chance to sing but they gave her a chance and when Bruce saw her he thought that he was looking at an angel she was beautiful exquisite but surely she couldn’t sing. Kat got the phone call that she was hoping to get so to celebrate she took her mum and her son out for ice cream. Bruce couldn’t get Katrina out of his mind all weekend and when he turned up at the recording studio he found Katrina sleeping in her car. That’s all I’m going to give you guys but wow this is such an amazing story a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

This is a rockstar romance, which, I don’t usually read. But, I’m a one clicker when it comes to Joanna Blake, she is an awesome author! This is the story of Bruce & Kat. He’s an older rockstar with the looks of a cowboy, so, yup, sign me up! He lived the rocker lifestyle until some things happened that scared him straight (nope, won’t tell you what scared him, read the book). He now spends his days working out & being lonely. Bruce landed a Vegas residency gig & this is where Kat comes in. Kat is a single mom who moved back to California with her son & they are living with her mom. She’s a singer whose got a huge passion for music. Bruce sees her, hears her sing, & is a goner! Unfortunately, Kat thinks he just wants fun & doesn’t want a serious relationship. She has a lot going on in her life & is afraid to trust him. I recommend this book. Bruce & Kat are great characters and I really liked her mom who helped a lot in the background! I voluntarily read this book.

I have not read any of the books in the series, this story can be read stand-alone. I never felt lost, sure the other characters show up, but that just makes me want to go and read their own stories.
Bruce is a Rock God for sure, he’s pretty much experienced it all, but at night it leaves him feeling lonely. He’s about to start a new tour and auditions back-up singers when in walks a ray of sunshine name Kat.
Kat has had a tough time with a very sick child. And also, she’s jaded with rock stars being after one thing from her. But Bruce just might the one to change her mind but she doesn’t trust him.
Many understandings happen that separate them, can they make things right between them?
Joanna Blake really pulled at my heartstrings with this story, loved the fact she’s a momma fighting for her kid. Loved the fact that she just didn’t fall for him at first meeting, loved the fact that this author can write some hot sexy scenes!

Kat is a single mom struggling to support her family. Bruce is a musician tired of the groupies and is ready for one woman. When he hears Kat sing at auditions for his backup singers he knows that she has what it takes to go far in the music business. When he finds he sleeping in her car at first he thinks its because she doesn't have a home until she tells him that she lives over three hours away. He tries to convince her to get a room close by to ease up on her stress but with her sick son she can't. Bruce isn't used to anyone refusing him so he tries to find a way to get her to accept things from him. Kat is afraid of getting involved with Bruce and becoming yet another woman to him. Can Bruce show her that he is different than other men she has known?
This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This was a nice read and I can say honestly my favorite part of the whole book was the epilogues from all the guys’ POVs.
Bruce and Kat’s situation was just a little off for me especially since he kind of came off like a creepy stalker. Kat was just mess and she had so much going on with life; however, we don’t get to know much about her past. I understand this book is insta-lust, but some of the things Bruce did were a little inappropriate (for example: making her kiss him as part of the act) and he didn’t seem to care that he was ruining her reputation. I really just didn’t understand Kat’s reason for doing anything she did pertaining to her son’s heath and her career. Let’s face it although Kat has talent she received all the extras because Bruce was determined to sleep with her.
I loved Kat’s mom, Janice and Tommy :)

What to say about Bruce and Kat. The story was great well written held my attention from start to finish.

I just could not put the book down. Kat is a sultry singer looking to make her reputation in the music industry. Bruce is a Rock God who wants more than the Rock Star lifestyle. Kat’s only thought is to land a gig as Bruce’s back up singer so she has a study income to care for her ill son. Bruce sees Kat and then hears her voice and he falls just like a Greek sailor hearing the mythical Siren’s song. Kat feels the same pull towards Bruce, but life has made her careful with her heart. Kat lands the background singer gig and becomes Bruce’s obsession. Then things get bad, before they get better. Ms. Blake writes beautifully drawn characters that make you want to keep turning the pages to find out where the story goes. I became so invested in these characters, I was alternatingly screaming at the characters and cheering for them at the same time.

Best book ever!!

WOW!! I’m speechless!!! Another fantastic must read book by Joanna Blake. This book should be made into a movie!!
When I first started the book, I was immediately pulled in by the first couple of chapters. Couldn’t put it down. Had to find the right words to review for this book that how great it is.
Bruce and Kat’s story is one of love, but completely realistic!! Never mind the whole rock star or music industry which this take place. But with Joanna’s writing you see into each characters heart and soul!! It could be someone’s story for the people sitting next to you in the coffee shop.
Definitely a 10 star book!!! Pick it up today and I promise you won’t regret it. I know I’ll go back and read all 3 books in the series again. Cover me has made my top ten list of favorite books.

When I first started the book, I was immediately pulled in by the first couple of chapters. Couldn’t put it down. Had to find the right words to review for this book that how great it is.
Bruce and Kat’s story is one of love, but completely realistic!! Never mind the whole rock star or music industry which this take place. But with Joanna’s writing you see into each characters heart and soul!! It could be someone’s story for the people sitting next to you in the coffee shop.
Definitely a 10 star book!!! Pick it up today and I promise you won’t regret it. I know I’ll go back and read all 3 books in the series again. Cover me has made my top ten list of favorite books.

Cover Me is book three in the Rock Gods series by Joanna Blake. Bruce Harrison has already had his fun of partying and girls in his life. Having had an amazingly successful career hes just looking for something more. Of course hes nowhere near close to guessing that what he was looking for would show up to an audition for his show.
Katie really needs this job in the show, but what she's not expecting is fo start falling for the man she has always been a fan for. With Katie not falling for Bruce's charms and gifts, has to not only try and keep her heart of things but keep her son healthy.

Solid 4.25 stars!!!
I greatly enjoyed this book! Since I didn’t read the blurb about the book I didn’t know what to expect, but I am happy to report this was easy to follow along with and fall in love with the characters.
Bruce is a rock star and Kat is trying to be all she can be in the singing world. And don’t forget she is a single mom to a sweet little boy. (I love single parent stories!) Kat gets hired to be a backup singer for Bruce, but she ends up getting solos and duets. There chemistry is off the charts. Will these two become a couple???
This is book 3 in the series. While I did read this was like a standalone, and you don’t need to read them in order, I do wish I had read the first two books first. I’m not a huge fan of starting in the middle of a series. I feel like you miss out on meeting the characters first.

I have loved Joanna Blake's books forever, it seems and Cover Me was no exception. Kat has more responsibilities than most but wouldn't trade places with anyone if it meant losing her son. She is so strong and focused but Bruce is too much of a temptation. Being in Bruce's head, you want to bop him upside that noggin more than once. He can't see the forest for the trees and screws up several times. He wants Kat but doesn't look deeper into why she is so resistant. He is also completely oblivious to how his attention could destroy her career. The story kept me glued to the page and before I knew it, I reached the end. I adored these two and the energy between them, especially the last scene! 5 stars for Cover Me!

Katrina needs this job, she needs the money to take care of her sick kid. And what better job than as a back up singer for a huge rockstar! Only problem is she's caught his attention and not in a way she expected. Can she resist her boss/rockstar god and more importantly, does she want to.
This is a great read and I would definitely recommend it. Blake heats up the pages in this one. And gives you a little look into what our other Rockstar Gods are up to.

I really loved this story. Bruce and Kat have amazing chemistry. I was hooked just a few pages in and finished it in one evening. Bruce is a very hot and very talented rockstar bachelor and has lived the rockstar life for years with all of its perks. Now he wants something more. Kat is a gorgeous single mom and aspiring singer that is just trying to take care of her sick son and follow her dreams. Once Bruce meets her, he wants her and is willing to do whatever it takes to have her. Kat wants him too but she's afraid of getting her heart broken since she believes he just wants in her pants and nothing more. They both keep getting in their own way of happiness but they eventually get everything they wanted and more.

Always love a Joanna book. They are witty, fun, hot and full of love. A amazing combination and this is a book I will always remember. Who doesn’t love a brooding hot rock star and a single mom. Trust me, the two combined are full of fabulous moments, sweet ones too and don’t forget those ones that make you laugh when they get feisty with one another. Bruce knows what he wants and he is going for it. It’s a heck of a chase, but she is the perfect catch. Kat’s son is a awesome young boy, her mother is a rock star herself helping out them out. This group is going to make a fabulous family unit. Read it to see, you will love it:)

This is my first read in this series and just loved it.
Rockstar Bruce has it all, well at 42 he thinks he has. Money, fame, a good career but he needs something more fulfilling. Then he meets her...Kat but she seems different than other women, she doesn’t swoon or say yes when he thinks she will. Kat needs a break in her life. Looking after her sick son Tommy is hard and now she has to deal with Bruce. Yes their chemistry is off the charts but doesn’t want to be another notch on the bedpost. A brilliant read and loved how Bruce was a man on a mission a he truly does care for then love Kat. Loved it all.

I've been following Joanna Blake's work for a while now and I absolutely love everything she writes. We always get something different yet amazing from this author. I always look forward to her next book as soon as I finish reading and I try to wait patiently for until her next release. in this book, we meet Bruce who is lonely and who used to party a lot until he suffered an accident. When he meets Kat he tries to get close to her but she does not let him. I liked how Kat made him work for her I loved her character and how she was trying to provide the best for her sick son. Loved the epilogues.

Intense edgy chemistry that has you flip flopping all over the place as the nail-biting suspense pushes you to the edge waiting with a desperate need for the storyline to take the turn you've been driven to madness for and when it does OMG talk about the giddy feeling it gives was so worth the wait. Emotionally charged, page turning twists and thrilling sexy chemistry! A fantastic must read!

Joanna Blake is an automatic buy for me. Her books always have a little turmoil, hot sex and most importantly great romance. This book is no different. We have a rockstar from the 1980's with a history of wild hard partying and of course groupies. He is now 42 and wants something more. He meets Kat. He wants her in his life but Kat has her secrets. We now have the basis for a great Joanna Blake book!
As always she leaves you totally satisfied. We get several epilogues. We get a peak at Kendall and Jess's and Nick and Sabrina's continued HEA'S and of course Bruce and Kat's!
This book will not disappoint.

Bruce Harrison is a 40(ish) rockstar who has given up his rockstar ways and sworn off women and booze in the hopes of having a healthier lifestyle, the only problem is that is he tired of being alone. Katrina Henley is a single mother of a sick seven year old son, running from an ex-boyfriend to return home to live with her mother when she hears about an audition or background singers. When Bruce hears her sing, he immediately wants the beautiful woman, and her voice in his life. When they begin to work together, will Katrina be able to keep Bruce at a distance? I am a big fan of the author’s MC books, but this was my first experience with her rock star stories and I enjoyed myself very much! Joanna always creates hunky heroes with just the right mix of gruff and gentle personalities. Bruce and Kat are a lovely couple, full of instant attraction. Their story is a flirty romp with some serious life issues thrown in to balance the ride. Bruce was a bit heavy handed in some of his dealings with Kat, but it seemed a natural result of living the privileged life of a rock star. I enjoyed their story and look forward to reading the first two books in the series.
