I’ve reviewed the books individually but I’ll sum it up quickly as a series.

It’s brutal, gripping and addictive. I loved Trigger but struggled at times with Tess.

I’m not sure it worked as well as it should have done in the end. All things considered. But that could just be me because I am a picky bitch.

But it’s a read I won’t forget in a hurry. It’s also on KU and well worth checking out.

Trigger, the first book in the Devil’s Reach series, pulled me right in. I was hooked, unable to put it down, and devoured it in no time at all. It had me eager to dive right into book two, Demons. As with book one, Demons hooked me. Again, I was left eager for the next book. Unfortunately, book three failed to wow me in the way of the first two books. Unleashed concluded the story, but it didn’t grip me in the way I had hoped.

Although the ending of this series was not what I had expected, it was an enjoyable series. It hooked me and had me curious to see how everything came together. It certainly has me curious about the author’s other books.

I LOVED this series so MUCH !!
I bought the 3 in 1 books because I listened to the audio book of Trigger. Which I loved excellent narrators and there was a cliff hangers. So I bought all 3 cause I had feeling that J.L Drake was going to do another cliff hanger which she did. AND I loved every single page !!!!!!
I have read the series 6 times now TRUST ME its incredible :D

Devils Reach Series is full of colourful characters. Here a few I feel in love with and ships:
Club a.k.a dysfunctional family that you will fall in love with!

Trigger & Tessa - relationship that makes you shout at the book "admit you love each other" I love theme individually as well. Tess's strength and her attitude to fight back. Trigger's loyalty to his Club and he also has a bit of Strength physically and mentally.

Tess & Brick - Bro & Sis relationship that makes you laugh and cry.

Rail - What can I say about Rail... he will make you laugh your read off. Especially when him and Tessa get at each other

Morgan - I just want to huge just to wind him up.

Mudd - He appears a few times in the book. He the chill dude that you want in your life and he left one hell of impression on me.

Finn <3 the most adorable boy you will ever read about. Thinks the world of Tess & Trigger.

Gus Father Figure to them all !!

There are soo many strong & creative characters you will fall in love with. I just can't name all them in this review because I want you to read this trilogy and discover them yourself

🎧 Conner Goff & Lacie Glennox
Conner & Lacie did a GREAT job bring this world to life and the relationships with each character. They made me smile, laugh and CRY !! I was kept at the edge of my seat and I thought it wasn't possible but I love this world even more. Conner has a new fan his voice is "yum" and his voice is Trigger. That how I imagined his voice to be

I have both read this series and listened to it on Audible. It is amazing, dark, sexy, delicious and more words that are not appropriate to write. Was an incredible series that I can't get enough of!

I was recommend this series by no less the 25 people/groups. It has made so many people's must read, darkest, grittiest MC reads that I finally gave in and read them. I got to say I am disappointed. There was a little darkness and some graphic violence, but I expected, I don't know… more? I have reviewed each book individually in more detail, but for the sake of this boxed set I will over view the entire series.

The good: Trigger is a complex, well develop character that follows a certain creed and allows the reader to follow at a distance. He was the one redeeming character for me in this entire series (with the exception of a small part of book three). I liked the authors voice in this writing and will read more from her in the future. When there was violence it was unique and graphic not at all cookie cutter and boring. That was refreshing. I also enjoyed the bits of humor and sass throughout the books.

The Not So Good: There were many, many things that I didn't enjoy about this series but after reflection and some lists to clear my thoughts is comes down to one major thing… the author tried to include WAY TOO MUCH. There were five enemies, four snitches, four bad parents, four other women drama makers, the question of children three times, and so much more. In my opinion the entire second book and most of book three could have been cut and it would have made this story so much better. There was just so much going on, so many flips back and forth (from past to present to random events) that I gad no time to develop any connection to a character, a plot idea, or any emotions at all. I wanted too, I just couldn't get a grip on the story long enough to care; and that is my loss as so many people have enjoyed it. I really wanted to like this series I just didn't.

the trilogy is now complete and the 3 book series is really the way to read it. JL Drake has a way with her cliffhangers so you are going to need all three books handy for binging in the best possible way!

Tess and Trigger have an amazing story. Its dark. Its dirty. And its oddly beautiful and full of love. Drake writes characters like no other!

Captivating ....

This series is beyond Amazing,if you love T.M Frazier then these are a must read for you. This series left me on the edge of my seat and with a few sleepless nights. Trigger and Tess have taken up residency in my heard and won't be leaving for a long while. Not to mention their chemistry is OFF THE CHARTS SEXY! Both of them grew up in crappy homes and unloved. Tess has had to be so strong and independent for so long she has a hard time asking for help and support. Trigger is a guy you're gonna hate a lot but also cry for. He is so complicated. It's dark(not grey dark but actually DARK) and there are some SERIOUS triggers so be careful.

10+ STARS.. Can't get enough of this series 🔥😍❤️

Trigger #1
Wow. I've read this book nonstop as each page will hold you clutched tight in its claws. Arghhh. I FREAKING loved this MC book. This is now one of my favs. Right from where this book starts its like hold on tight and you wouldn't want the ride to end.
Tess is starting over at a new place with her friend's help who's also the VP of the MC club. Brick is not only the VP now but has been tess friend for long. He knows all about her past. As she has secrets of her own. A new job and a new beginning, tess just has to forget her past and move ahead. What she doesn't expect is to get tangled in all the club drama and then getting herself into the radars of people who are the from hell itself. And if that wasn't enough she gets the devil attention and allures him.
TRIGGER IS DAYUM HOTTTTTTT🔥🔥🔥🔥. THAT BOOK COVER THOUGH PERFECTLY JUSTIFIES HOW TRIGGER WOULD LOOK LIKE❤️🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.
Trigger has a lot of responsibilities what with being the Head of club. He has a lot on his plate as things are getting out of hand with his business and he has to find out soon that someone among them who's causing all this.
Drama... Suspense.. Secrets.. So much is going in this book and I'm freaking glad to have the complete trilogy. Can't wait to start the next. Loved loved this one. ❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥

Demons #2
Damn!!!! So many things and twists and turns going on in this one. Secrets upon secrets revealed yet many more questions to be answered. As we delve deep into the chaos that ended in book 1, this just goes onto another level now. We get to see tess' past and her story but as of now in the present. Then there's trigger, it seems like things are just escalating for him and the mole is yet to be found. Oh my.. This is one of the rare books where I couldn't even guess who could be the mole. This story is written so deliciously and twisted into perfect tangled mess that you want to go on this wild ride to unravel it completely and hence can't wait to dive into the last book of this trilogy. WHAT A DAMN AMAZING SERIES.. FREAKING GOLD.
A MUST MUST READ THIS ONE. 10+ STARS ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Unleashed #3
OH MY GOD.. I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS BOOK MORE THAN 10 + STARS. This series is just like the best wine, each book has gotten to another level of awesomeness.
I'm still giddy with all the rush of reading this book nonstop without taking a breather. This one had me hanging onto the edge of my seat. There was not even a single dull moment. So many things are happening and there are so many frames. So many facets are revealed and secrets finally exposed and vengeance taken and OH MY...THE TWISTS & CHECKMATES IN THIS ONE had my head spinning. THIS SERIES NEEDS TO BE A MOVIE OR ON TELEVISION. So soooo Damyuummmm Good. 🔥🔥
I can't even say exactly what's going as this book obviously carries ahead after that explosive ending in book 2. But right from the start it's a complete wild ride. Tess being gone, trigger seeing prison, enemies closing in from all sides. So many players to the game. Whom to trust and who's the real traitor. Wow.. Just woo...
I'll just that this an Abso-freaking-lutely MUST READ. YOU'RE MISSING OUT IF YOU'VE NOT READ THIS SERIES YET.
I'm gonna miss trigger and tess oh so much. I loved how they evolved together especially their bond with fin and den had my heart squeezing. So sweet.
There were so many things I didn't see coming but THAT ONE BOMB OF A SECRET AT THE END had me totally like.. WHATTTTTT😲😲😲😲. Yeah you will not see that coming at all. Ghosh I freaking love this series so much. I want more already. Loved loved loved oh so much this one. 🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Down the rabbit hole I went and I finally submerged after four days. I could not put this series down. One minute it’s four in the afternoon. The next it’s 1 AM. Where did I go? What day is it? Sadly I’m still in 2020. This series trapped me and I don’t seem to care.
Tess has had a hard life. Her mom is a bitch and the only man she’s ever been in love with has torn her apart piece by piece. Her only solace is Brick. Her best friend and “brother.” There’s a lot of history between these two friends so of course she would run to him and her time of need. What she doesn’t quite expect is a little glitch in her plan.
Everyone knows Trigger. He’s a dangerous man with power and loyalty from others. He’s been through hell and at times doesn’t know if he ever left. One thing is for certain he knows how to take care of business. Trigger knows all and sees all. What he didn’t see was this little fire cracker dropping into his club and taking over his soul.
With the devil knocking on every door this family cannot catch a break. With jealous hoes, crazy parents, and psycho exs can Trigger ever get his head on straight when it comes to Tess?

I lost about a total of 24 hours reading this series and I have no complaints. It had me on the edge of my seat. Hot ass possessive bikers is a plus. Not to mention the comedy relief at every turn. This book had everything. It’s dark that’s for damn sure. Fin and Denton have my heart. Rail and I could be best friends. And I’ll take a man like Trigger any goddamn day. However if I was Tess and gettin the back and forth mind fucks that Trigger was giving her I would’ve lost my fucking mind. They both have troubled pasts. I get it. But holy shit. She had to fight tooth and nail just for him to say he has a sliver of a care for her. The patient’s this woman has. Either way it’s a great series. I highly recommend. I’m pretty sure I had to stop and take a few shots just to get my mind right. So you know it’s good. Give it a try. I know you’ll enjoy it.

Meh...

Okay so I thought this sounded like one of those deep, suck you in kind of trilogies. I REALLY wanted to like this series but I just never felt it!!
This is the first time I have ever read this author and frankly I was lost a lot because of references and characters from past books. I also felt that it was really character heavy and hard to keep everyone straight.
I felt that really it should have been condensed to two books because there was just a lot of unnecessary plot going on that really wasn’t needed.
I was confused about a lot of stuff and things kept jumping around and then being dropped and then things were built up and then just fizzled out. On the part where Clark showed her the photos of Trigger with other women? Did he cheat? She just let it go and never really confronted him? So confusing!
I really wanted to quit reading in book one because I just wasn’t drawn to the characters and it was just a hard read to follow but I didn’t want to be a quitter so I kept going! Plus I really wanted to know who THE MOLE was...I was kind of disappointed in that and I really thought it was someone else.
I know this had some really great reviews and I am sorry to go against the norm but it just wasn’t for me. I love books that just suck you in and get you on an emotional roller coaster and this just didn’t do that for me!

Wowza! What an amazing trilogy! I was looking for an MC read, so I searched in my Facebook groups for recommendations and found several for this series. I am so glad I picked up this box set on KU! I have devoured this series this week. I just never wanted to put it down. I think it’s smart when authors have their books available wide, but then do a box set or some other edition for KU. It makes it easier for all readers to access!

I loved these books so much. Although, I will say... I don’t read blurbs so it’s on me, but I thought this was going to be an MC series with a different couple in each book. So I was a little bummed when I got to the end of the first book and realized I was reading a trilogy of one couple. The good news is that I freaking LOVE Trigger and Tess. I am obsessed with the character growth for these two. I love it when Tess gets ruthless and Trigger flips his switch!

The Devil’s Reach Trilogy is sexy, suspenseful, and action packed, with secrets and twists around every turn. I have enjoyed every minute of this wild ride for Tess and Trigger. I hope someday the author decides to write more books within this MC. I’m really needing Brick’s book right about now! If you like dark romance and all the awesomeness that comes with an MC, you’ll want to read this trilogy for sure!

i wouldnt say it was a favorite favorite. but it was a good procrastination from exams. liked: that the main guy and girl didnt change his personality after him and the girl get together, girl is a baddie and i really liked her actually, she actually goes off and does her own thing and doesnt have damsal in distress syndrom. also the author writes the guy as having trauma and it actually affects him?? (very impressive). side characters are funny. and also the main couple dont actually get together untill later, and neither of them are totally that bothered with each other in the insane way some authors write their character, like they still got on with their own stuff just the other person was also there now which i lurvv in books. dislike: plot was avg but also good?, and kind of stupid at some parts but i lowkey ate it up regardless. i wish we saw some more jealous side of trigger, and she payed him back for hsi other women drama with another guy but tbh i think ive fallen down a cliche rabbit holes on books recently. but at the same time the fact that they would argue and move on and no one was petty or childish was part of the reason i loved them so much so genuinly why am i complaining. overall i just really liked the two main characters and i felt like i could feel how they fit together. felt natural.

A definite must read series

This was a crazy, intriguing, and intense series, but I loved it all. With a cast of awesome characters, hilarious banter, crazy antics, lots of angst, mystery, suspense, violence, betrayal, the darkest of demons, horrific pasts, but in the end, a beautiful HEA with a unique family made it all worth it.
I'm not sure exactly what order these series' are supposed to be read, and I'm sure that I did it all backwards, but I would suggest reading the Broken trilogy, then Devil's Reach, and finally the Blackstone series. (Which may be how it's supposed to be?? Lol!) It's obviously not necessary to read each series in order to enjoy the rest, but you will have a better understanding of the characters, their connections, the amazing bonds that were formed between them, and the different aspects of each crew. They're all absolutely fantastic, and not something that you will want to miss! I would truly love to see more of the DRMC and the Blackstone crew's in the future!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.

Intense dark romance

This is what MC romance novel should be like!

The intensity, the twisted darkness... Perfect!

The author definitly doesn't hold her gun when she executed Trigger and his Tigress story.

First scene open with slaughter room. Yep! Definitly come up with a bang there.

The author create her MC world like I imagine an MC world should be. Dark, no rules but theirs, twisted, violence, name all crimes and they have it with loyalty to the club being the number one.

And Tess... She's the Queen! Her abusive background didn't break her to pieces. She face her demon by embracing them.

Trigger and Tess love story doesn't go easy. It's hard, Rocky even deathly. But the way they love each other with their own demon, the way they become light and anchor to each other... I love it!

Ok ok ok. I've recently decided im going to start reviewing. I read waaaay to much and i always have an opinion so let me begin by saying i have mixed emotions about this book. I was deeply embedded in the story but there was a lot of unanswered questions i had. The book series in its entirety gets a 3.75 from me. I LOVED Trigger even though he was a HUGE asshole (but who doesnt love a good asshole hero right?) This book is really gory so if you not into a violent read i would skip. Lots of sex, tons of bad ass bikers. The Characters are amazing and you love some and hate others. I wont go into a lot of detail because then ill start spoiling it. This is my first read series by this author

Confused

Book one was good, book two was good but book three confused the life out of me!?!? It seemed to be stuff happened after the stuff that had already sorted that out. E.g. One character was dealt with and killed off, then there was a chapter from Allen's POV where he and the dead character made a deal to take back what was theirs?? What??? How?? The other character was dead already. For a while i thought they hadn't actually died and was coming back for revenge, but no that didn't happen?? So i guess what I'm saying is it felt like the chapters were in the wrong order. This is just one example, it happened more than once.

What a series!!

Oh they both had demons. They each dealt with them. I loved how Tess took care of her mother....now unless you read this book you won’t know how I mean that. Was it because she watched over her and was there when her mother needed her.....or did she take care of her because of how mean her mother was.....you will have to read the series to find out. I think her mother got what she deserved. Anyway Trigger was such a beast but I love how Tess pushed him to tell her his feelings. This was a phenomenal series. You have to read it. So many great characters. I want to see more of these characters. One of my new favorite authors now

Trigger. Tess. My addiction!!! I realized I never left a review here, so this is a little old, but with all the love nonetheless.
This trilogy grabbed me and refused to let me go until I had finished. I read this time and time again and always wish there was just more. This ride will take you every which way, through some dark corners, with light and laughter along the way. I have no good summary blurb because there is too much to sum up, these characters (all of them) evolve and what you know changes just when you think you have it figured out! An amazing ride for any reader who doesn't mind a tad of dark.

I recently found J.L. Drake and have been devouring every book I can get my hands on. I loved this MC trilogy and how previous characters from other series were sprinkled in towards the end. I kept wondering were the connection was going to be.

This book started “almost” too dark for me. I had to give it a chance because I have been loving Drakes words. I’m so glad I hung in there. This trilogy has everything...dark, alpha, betrayal, revenge, mystery, loss, redemption, steaminess, hope, family, loyalty and more.

Holy cow, wow

What an intense series! I've never read any books by this author before but when the set went on sale, I purchased it. Trigger is the pres if a MC. His past is horrendous, being raised by an abusive father who taught Trigger to kill at a young age. Read needs a job and starts working at the MC bar. Read also had a terrible childhood. The relationship between Read and Trigger is emotional and steamy. Each book has a cliffhanger, so I'm glad I was able to continue right away. These books are gritty, dark, steamy, and not for the light hearted. Well written.

FANFREAKINGTASTIC!!! I had such a serious hangover from this book. Lost countless hours of sleep but it was so worth it!!! Trigger has become one of my most favorite alpha's ever!!! The DR is such a dynamic group of men and women ;-) I love that J.L. includes characters from her other books in everything she writes, it great to see them all interact with each other in different ways. I absorb very word J.L. writes and crave even more. If you want hardcore MC, this is the story for you. If you want a mystery/thriller that keeps you guessing, this is the story for you.

Holy hotness!

Trigger, Demons, Unleashed by @j.l.drake
Firstly, apologies for the triple review here, but I got the box set and could not stop between each book to review! I absolutely DEVOURED this series. I was so sad it ended. I adored the MFC and Trigger, the plot was intense, captivating and kept me on the seat of my chair. I LOVE MC books, but I was in a book funk and now after these I'm on my 6th MC book in a row! 🙈😂 J.L Drake is a brilliant writer, I am looking to read about Savannah and Cole as I feel that I've missed a brilliant story! 5*

If I could give more than 5* I would .

Read has demons, Trigger is one . Together hell shakes. Fell in love with this book from the very first page. The chemistry between Trigger and Tess is combustible. There is so much action going on you have to stop and take a breath. The screwed up back ground of both Trigger and Tess adds to the story but I loved there was so much MC action too and there was a lot of club interaction . This has a definite place in my top five MC books . Loved it and hated I had to "adult" inbetween reading.

A true MC series

Dark, dangerous, demon filled Nolan Vineyard aka Trigger is president of the Devil's Reach MC. Along comes Tessa Marin a "sister" to his number two Brick who needs a job. She becomes the club bartender. This is not your typical MC love story with the HEA this is the real thing. It was so intense that I had to set it aside quite a few times before I could finish it but I'm glad I did
