Desired
Reading Forever Desired kinda reminds me of Until the Sun Falls from the Sky by Kristen Ashley's Lucian., just a little bit though.. Anyways, the overall story was good. I enjoyed Sorin and Athena's story it was simple yet interesting. I love how their story ended and would love for Linkin to also have his HEA. 👍🏻

This vampire romance enthralls readers from the very start as the strong, captivating characters easily draw them into their story. The romance is full of vivid electrical chemistry that readers can practically feel flowing off the pages and the fast pace of thrilling suspense as Sorin’s enemies introduce Athena to truth about Sorin’s world while trying to kill him which adds exhilarating excitement to the story. Although the story is short, the world and this romance is quite suspenseful and fascinating ensuring that readers can really sink their teeth into this delightful vampire read involving vampire brides and hunters.

Forever Desired (Vampire Brides Series) is a paranormal romance novella with a rich & sexy vampire. For a novella, the world building descriptions were very well detailed & illustrated. Danger lurking through out the narrative keeps you captivated. Romance & suspense intricately weaved together to create a magical read. The Courtship between Athena and Sorin is sweet, yet a bit intense. This novella is a light read that is a escape from the real world.

Great story line and characters, Awesome !! Loved this book. The storyline was so interesting that it had me turning pages in anticipation of where it would lead . I was very intrigued with the characters in the story. Simply awesome . Definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a great read. I would recommend to others. Worth the read and the money!

I liked Athena’s personality. She was her own person, determined to make and follow her own path. She wasn’t trying to rebel or make a statement—she simply had a dream and a goal.
Sorin was more complicated because he preferred going his own way managing his empire while searching for his mate, however, sense-of-duty came calling. Can he answer the call and take Athena with him?
This is a good story and premise, and both Athena and Sorin are strong characters with sizzling chemistry between them.
But the delivery fell flat for me.
The pacing was off for me and along with continuity—it didn’t feel fluid. Grammar errors, incorrect word usage, and redundancy dragged the story down. When vampire hunters kidnapped Athena, I wanted to feel the suspense and urgency of the moment, but it never happened.
The vampire hunters were disappointing—not that I wanted them to win—but they didn’t seem smart or clever enough to get as far as they did. They know vampires avoid the sun and can be killed by a wooden stake to the heart, but what are they doing? Shooting a gun at a vampire? Seriously?
I admired the way Sorin’s assistant, Devin, stood up to him about Athena and forced his hand, but she and head of security, Linkin, seemed diluted… not as badass as I’d expect those in Sorin’s inner circle to be.
I own twelve books and a boxed set by this author, and this is not the quality of her work I am used to. While this read didn’t work for me, I’ll continue to read new books by her, and I’m sure readers of paranormal romance will enjoy Forever Desired, it just didn’t work for me.

New to me author.

She is living her dream, with the support from her best friend Pam. Athena’s parents wanted her to go to college to get an education as this would get you through life, not signing. But after her parents pass and she becomes estranged with her sister, Athena has nothing to loose and everything to gain. Which she does with great success, she is making a name for herself and building a future.
Sorin Ludovici is a multi billionaire, he travels all around the world collecting arts and paintings from new artists for his hotel. He is also the Las Vegas Vampire Clan leader but has never wanted to take the position. He doesn’t mind travelling to the other clans and helping them out and fighting for fellow vampires, but being the actual leader is not something he wants to do until he finds his mate. He has searched all over for his Bride with no success, but fate works in mysterious ways. On his one time of doing a walkthrough of the ‘Turin’ he is mesmerised but the beauty that is the reason for his sales going up in the club. While watching Athena and listening to her, Sorin knows his found his bride. He has to claim her before he’s overtaken by blood lust.
I really enjoyed reading about Sorin and Athena. But I also loved the Devin (Sorins Assistant) and Linkin (Sorins best friend and head of his personal security) they were both so enjoyable to read and the way they would pick and frustrate Sorin was hilarious. I really hope to see a story on them in the future. Pam (Athena’s best friend)was also hilarious and I hope to see more on her as well.
Very clever with the twist of vampires being born to vampire and human couples. One of my favourite scenes was this, you can just feel the bond between these two characters.
“I just don’t get it.” He reached for his woman and brought her close to his side, wrapping an arm around her. “I can make the toughest of vampire warriors cringe, but my own two children don’t even bat an eye at me when I yell.” He shook his head. Athena’s musical laughter filled the air. “You don’t offer your men piggy back rides, do you?”

I enjoyed this book, it is well written and well told with interesting storylines that were captivating from start to end. Ariel Marie has a wonderful writing style and a way with words, I loved how much story she managed to fit into this novella sized book. Her characters are well developed, Athena is the star performer at a Las Vegas nightclub and Sorin is the own of the casino that houses the nightclub. Sorin is a centuries old Vampire who has yet to find his mate, after seeing Athena perform he needed to see her unclose and personal, he is certain she is the one. The chemistry between the two is undeniable. Athena is a strong and independent woman but a bit naive when it comes to vampires and other paranormal beings. Sorin wants to take it slow introducing her to his life, he does not want to scare her away but circumstances force him to speed things up. I love how everything plays out in this fast paced story. There is never a dull moment, there is drama, action, some thrilling & suspenseful moments, some heartfelt ones and some hot romance. Ariel Marie, thank you for this great story.
I listened to the audible edition, Meghan Kelly is a wonderful narrator and voice artists. She brings the characters to life giving each their own voice and personality. She does a great job portraying each character and projecting their emotions into her performance. She is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Forever Desired is both exciting and terrifying. The characters are very compelling. I love that this story takes place in Vegas. I could actually hear the slot machines going off while you’re waiting for Athena’s show to begin. Sorin was captivated before he heard the first note she was singing. Athena felt the chemistry the first time she saw him. I can see how Sorin saw her as a siren, with a voice that mesmerizing. And of course, whenever there is a powerful vampire there is a hate group trying to kill him, enter Clay Weber. I would love to know Clay’s backstory he seems extreme in his hate for vampires and Sorin in particular. Like a person whose wife or daughter left him for a vampire. It’s a good thing that love lends strength because Athena and Sorin needed it to win the day. I just love happily ever after. This is a good book for a lazy afternoon because you will not put it down until you finish.

Athena is a beautiful black woman she moved to Las Vegas looking for work as a waitress but her passion is singing and she was lucky enough to land a job as a nightclub singer in an exclusive hotel called the Turin. Tonight the owner was coming in and everyone was nervous and when the night came Athena sang her heart out, she saw a gorgeous man sitting at the VIP table she went over there and sung to him and he didn’t take his eyes off her. Sorin Ludovici is a vampire and a very wealthy one at that he owns the Turin and he is in charge of the Vampires in Las Vegas, Sorin was a born vampire and his birth was in 1652 so he’s a very old very powerful vampire. Sorin has traveled the world looking for his mate he never expected to find his mate working for him in the nightclub singer Athena. That’s all I’m going to give you guys but this is just the beginning of this amazing story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Sorin never thought he would find his fated mate. And then he heard Athena and she changed his world. But she isn't the only change in his world. Danger has come from an enemy he thought eradicated. I really enjoyed this quick read by Ms. Marie. Athena was sweet and was caught off guard by Sorin's interest. But was she ready for the changes he brings? Athena and Sorin's courtship was sweet and intense. Neither was expecting the intensity of their desire. I loved seeing them work to find a balance as they got to know each other. I enjoyed seeing both Sorin and Athena come into their own. While this is a quick read it is well written by Ms. Marie. It felt real and complete. I hope that Ms. Marie will return to this world and gives us more in the future.

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Forever Desired by Ariel Marie is part of the Vampire Brides Anthology and a stand alone read. This sweetly enticing and sexy hot story is a quick read. Sorin and Athena's story is filled with action, passion and sexual tension. I really love an Ariel Marie read because it can always be counted on to deliver a feel good hang over that will keep you smiling for days. This book is included in the Vampire Brides Anthology that includes stories from various authors. This book can also be purchased as a stand alone read.

Forever Desired by Ariel Marie is a great addition to her paranormal romance world. Can a human and a vampire find love? What about all the secrets in the world? The characters in Ariel's newest paranormal romance are wonderful. The lead vampire is hot and extremely sexy. Her heroin is human but with the voice of an angel. It just goes to show that you don't have to come from money to have your dreams come true. I hope that we get to catch up with some of the other characters in later books. There are just so many interesting ones that need their story told.

Sorin is a vampire that is in Vegas and he has no intention of finding his fated mate then he heard a sirens call Athena is a singer in a nightclub but she has no idea what her singing is doing to Sorin. This vampire has found his fated mate and now he has also brought danger to her. Will he be able to keep her safe will she accept him There will b plenty of suspense and danger is this thrilling roller coaster ride it may only be a relatively short story but it pulls out all the stops

This is a sweet love story between Athena and Sorin with some excitement and danger included. He first sees her singing in his club in Las Vegas and it is love at first sight for him. I wish the book was a little longer just because I liked these two! I am a little unclear about him turning her into a vampire or does he? Sorin is on my list of book boyfriends.

Such an enchanting Romance. With my love of Paranormal Romance this one is definitely a great addition to my library! The storyline is so well written that is flows beautifully. The characters are a treat to read as they find one another and their love blooms for one another. The action is well placed and keeps this reader totally intrigued from beginning to end. I recommend this to any lover of Paranormal Romance with the HEA. Quite a lovely quick and enjoyable read!

Ok! This is the tantalizing BWWM vamp romance for which I’ve been searching. Sorin is such a broody, swoony hottie that I have had the vapors for two solid hours while reading this novel. Athena is a great protagonist through whom we get to experience this fated, invigorating mating. Be still my beating heart! “Latch” by Disclosure should definitely be included in this story’s soundtrack!

An amazing, entertaining, solid, and fast pace paranormal romance. It is a well written, intriguing, and well developed read. There is drama, danger, suspense, and twists and turns. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is instant and intense. This book takes you on a wild ride that will leave you wanting more. Definitely recommended!

Great book in the Vampire Brides series. Athena and Sorin were great characters with a really good story line. The battle between the vampires and the hunters is never ending, but good always wins.Looking forward to reading more in this series.

Forever Desired by Ariel Marie is an awesome story that I have read. I loved reading this story cause I love reading about vampires. If you love reading about vampires as much as I do then this story is definately for you and I highly recommend it.

Loved the midnight coven authors so far
Another great novella by these authors. Such fun, sexy story lines. It's nice to have a finished story set but would love additional stories about some of the secondary characters. Sorin and his siren were a fun read. I didn't want to put it down.

As a Vampire of over Three Hundred years he one goal was to find his forever Mate so when he meets Athena at his own Hotel/Casino as a singer he is determined to make her his. Trouble is always learking and then the Hunters try to close in they make one mistake they take his Mate . Nothing will keep him from his future and his mate. Great Read.

This is a truly captivating story with captivating characters. There is great details in the world building. This is a fantastic light read that has an intense yet sweet romance between Athena and Sorin. This novella has made me excited to read the other books in the series.

Sorin the vampire and Athena the singer are fated mates that have quite the journey fighting the hunters. Interesting characters and a fun story.
