Marrying Ryland

Rate this book
Ryland awoke to find himself wrapped around the most delicious man he’d had ever met.

Thrown over by his longtime boyfriend for being wanton, Ryland decide to swear off men for good. Deserted by his best friend Sandy and stuck with a strange woman in his house, Ryland went to the local tavern to drink his blues away. The last thing he expected was to find himself in bed with the most delectably chocolate man he’d ever seen. A man it seems come with his own built in complications.

Gabriel left town; moving into his Cousin Sandy’s place after narrowly escaping a disastrous marriage of convenience. Only wanting a place to lay low until the embarrassment of being left at the altar died down. Not only had he found a place to lay low but someone to lie with. Ryland Adderly was a complication he was not expecting. Not only was he deliciously addictive but he was his cousin’s roommate and the owner of the house where he now resided. The last thing he expected was to find himself married to the sexiest man he’d ever met.
The attractions between the two are undeniable. Through snobbish ex-boyfriends and gold digging ex-fiancées and their own insecurities; can Gabriel and Ryland hold on to what they’ve found?

3.5 stars. Cute story of two people who were down on their luck and was set up by a mutual friend and they ended up married. They both realized that they had a special connection so they decided to work on their marriage. Gabriel was known to be cold and had all kinds of Rules in place but things changed when he met the soft and caring Ryland. Ryland was with a man who thought he was weak and feminine but Gabriel made him feel accepted and loved. Both Gabriel and Ryland made each other feel accepted and love. I feel that was what I enjoyed most about this story. They did get off to a rocky start but things changed when Gabriel started to really get to know Ryland. They were total opposites but they worked so well together. I was confused about the beginning when it was said that Gabriel was involved with both Alan and Natalie. I felt the author should’ve given us more information about that situation and not just thrust us to the wedding. I was like whoa what’s going on here? I also would’ve appreciated a conversation Sandy and why she decided to trick them into being together lol. I enjoyed that part too. This book was good and I enjoyed it. It just had some inconsistencies, errors and scenes that should’ve been fleshed out missing . Other than that this was a good read from this author

Fantabulous and OMG

This was such a heartwarming story. As I was reading the story I was taking to Sterling springs and Barrington I was there with them I got to see them. the characters were so vivid and bright. I loved how the characters developed and found one another and found that chemistry that is sometime lacking in a relationships because the other person is not open to it. But what I love the most is that I like so many gay stores especially black gay stories it ended on a positive and happy note.

Really? I’m not sure where all of the five-star ratings are coming from. This had to be one of the most ridiculous over-the-top soap operas I’ve read in awhile. With barely likable characters and nonsensical plot lines this story was actually quite funny. I gave it three stars merely for the entertainment value. As for the writing itself, dear author, please get yourself a proofreader who understands punctuation and what a complete sentence looks like.

Amazing job. I love Ryland and Gabriel. Their chemistry is off the chart.

Hot hot hot. I have no words. One of the best that I have read portraying an African American man. If all of your book are like this, I will seek to discover more of of them.

Wow just wow

This is one of the greatest Gay and Bi love
story I have read in a while. I love how the guys found each other and strong and masculine they are. This would make a great movie. We seriously need something that reflect our race, no offense bro white people.

The storyline and the people were interesting and varied. I found the writing somewhat choppy, it seemed to jump around a lot, sometimes it seemed as if the actions and people in a
paragraph had nothing to do with the previous one.
