Womanizer. Casanova. Heartbreaker. Skirt-chaser. And my personal favourite, Mr Steal Your Girl. I've been called them all. But still, the women keep on coming. And coming. Hundreds of women slide into my DM’s and I slide into their…well, I think you can see where I'm going with this. Men want to be me and women want to bed me. Despite what the bunny boilers of San Francisco call me, I go by the name of Buzz. I'm 6’4” and the proud owner of a six-pack, beard and too many tattoos to count. I’m a walking wet dream. For the longest time, I didn’t believe in love. I didn’t even believe in relationships. I couldn’t understand why anybody would willingly choose to have sex with only one person. Until I met Lori. She turned my entire world upside down and made me feel things which I didn’t even know I was capable of. But when I couldn’t deal with her career as a honey trapper, I lost her. But now I want her back. And I always get what I want. It’s lucky that I found her again. It’s unlucky that she has a new boyfriend. Unlucky for him.
***Although Buzz can be read as a standalone, it is advised to read The Honey Trap first as it provides some background to Buzz and Lori's story. The Honey Trap is currently free in Kindle Unlimited.***
Karli Perrin is an English Language and Linguistics graduate from Manchester, England. She has always been a big lover of books (and pizza) and was inspired to write her debut novel back in 2013. She is a huge believer of fate and is a sucker for a happy ending. Her ultimate goal in life is to live in a house made entirely out of books with her husband and four kids. ...Velaris is plan B.
I spent a year writing this book and therefore a year thinking like Buzz. Read it and you'll agree that I deserve a medal ;) But seriously, Buzz is something else. I hope you love him as much as I do. To infinity and beyond, my friends.
I love Karli Perrin. The Honey Trap is one of my favorite books and Buzz was one of my most anticipated books for this year, but while she made me swoon over Mason and Soph while reading the Honey Trap, she made me want to punch Lori in the face while reading Buzz.
Buzz is a character I fell in love with the second I met him while reading The Honey Trap, we bond over twitter, and Shmideon and closed the deal when he got his own kindle. My feelings for him are super strong, so that's why it was hard to see him suffer at the hands of Lori—even though I knew he deserved it.
Lori, I love that girl, but she turned into someone I didn't like in this book. My first thought was HATE, I hate her, but that's a strong feeling, and in my heart, I knew I did not. So I tried really hard to put myself in her shoes, but that ended up with me trying to punch myself in the face, so no thank you. Somehow, I understood what she was going through, but it was not an easy pillow to swallow. The heart wants what it wants, but sometimes the head likes to mess with our hearts a little before surrendering to it.
With an angsty twist that I didn't see coming, some forbidden but delicious encounters, Karli Perrin give me a dose of reality delivering a real, human character that made me FEEL. And no matter how much it hurt, I would walk this road, again and again, just to see Buzz getting his happily ever after. To infinity and beyond.
This book was brilliant I've been DYIN for this book for sooooo long. It was so worth the wait. After meeting Buzz in The Honey Trap it was hard to not want more from him. Buzz is just a crazy, sexy, funny, cute, sweet, annoying, so confident, a Manwhore and his ego is huge. He has never not had a woman that he wants. Woman want him and men want to be like him. Buzz's life is pretty great he take life in a his stride nothing bothers him. He wants an easy life her woman with no strings and it's all good. He has had a few relationships but they never really go anyway. Until he saw Lori. She is different she is everything he wants. She is so sexy, smart, funny, sassy and a total ballbuster. Things had been so good between they there sexual chemistry has been off the chart and they got on well. But they both wanted different things. They are 2 different people but they got so will. But they can't live there life just on a sexual relationship. Even though it's amazing Lori needed more and Buzz needed something from her as well. Things got a lil complicated and time went by and now they don't even have each other.
This is another book that had my emotions all over the place. My heart was broke for Buzz throughout this book. People are mean and I don't like it. I wanted to punch them so bad. I was so protective of him I just wanted everything to be the way it should. I know that's not the way it's meant to be but I just needed everything back to normal. In parts of this book I wasn't happy with Lori at all. I understand why she has moved on but with John. Really. He's nothing like Buzz at all and I didn't like him from the start. He actually made me want to hit him allllll the way through this book. He was snobby and thought he was better then Buzz haha crazy guy how can he be better than Buzz he's amazing.
I would highly recommend this book. The story is hot and funny there is also a few parts where I did get a lil scared. But it's what made this story so good. Buzz and Lori are brilliant but Buzz is what made this so good. Ye he's annoying but you can't help but luv. After this book you will luv him to but remember I seen him first. If you haven't read this author before you really should. I luv her writing and her characters are just so good and addictive. I can't wait to see what she is going to come out with next. I just hope the hero is as hot and funny as Buzz.
I found this one very difficult to rate because I immediately appreciated this author's style of writing and enjoyed several hilarious moments throughout the book. The lower rating comes down to the fact that I had no respect for either of the main characters by the end of the book.
This was a romantic comedy second chance romance with a very sarcastic, very obnoxious but loveable playboy hero. I actually really loved Buzz for most of the book. His lack of filter and satire was refreshing and hilarious. One of the worst things an author can do is create an amazing character who makes the most stupid mistake at the end of the book and that's what happened here.
Lori on the other hand I got pretty frustrated with from very early in the book. I don't even know where to start. Her indeciveness was annoying and her behaviour was so ironic given that she was a honey trapper. She was an extremely difficult character to like and something is wrong if you don't want the hero to end up with the heroine in a love story. These characters just didn't connect for me and when they got together at the end, it felt quite rushed.
Ugh! I really wanted to love this more and it frustrates me because I saw the potential for this to be such an amazing book. This author has a very fast pace style of writing I really loved and I enjoyed her sense of humor so much. Unfortunately I couldn't look past the ridiculous behavior of the MCs and their bad decisions made them unrelatable and unlikeable.
This book is the one that I have been waiting for. I first met Buzz in The Honey Trap back in September 2017 and I always hoped that he would one day have his own story. He is a character who I just couldn't help but fall in love with. He is witty and constantly made me laugh and I absolutely adore that about him. In my opinion you don't really need to read The Honey Trap before reading Buzz, but I do think you would enjoy this book more knowing the history of Buzz and Lori plus you'd be crazy not to.... it's that good! I have a tbr list that would circle the circumference of the earth a few times, yet I've read The Honey Trap more than once!
I read this book in one sitting. My home could have been on fire around me and that wouldn't have stopped me from finishing this book. I fell even more in love with Buzz from when I last spent time with him. The humour that I loved in The Honey Trap continues in this book and the special friendship between the four main characters in both books is just as fabulous now as it has always been. Buzz. Lori, Mason and Sophia are just incredible characters in their own right but put them together and you have a group of friends that truly bring out the best in each other.
It was lovely to catch up with Mason and Sophia and see what was happening in their lives but this book focuses on Buzz (obviously) and his feelings for Lori. It was certainly lovely to get to know Lori more and catch up with what has been happening with her since The Honey Trap.
The author was able to bring out every emotion in me. I so wanted Buzz to have his HEA, whether he does or not you will have to read this book for yourself to find out. His fantastic personality will have you rooting for him no matter what.
I said in my first sentence of this review that this was the story I have been desperate to read and it was certainly worth the wait. It was amazing! Buzz is going to be a book that I re-read over and over again and I urge you to read it as soon as possible..... you will not be disappointed.
5 massive stars!!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 *ARC received in return for an honest review
Oh, I LOVED this book, and Buzz, to infinity and beyond!!!
We first met Buzz in The Honey Trap and it was obvious as soon as he burst onto the scene that he was too big of a character to just sit on the sidelines. He was definitely shouting for his own story. If you've not read The Honey Trap yet then I recommend you read it before Buzz to get a better understanding of his back story, and to avoid possible spoilers.
Buzz was so not what I was expecting. I thought it would pick up where The Honey Trap left off but it didn’t. Instead it chronicled the journey of Lori and Buzz, from when they first met to how they broke up and how Buzz tried to win her back. And boy, what an explosive journey it was, I was worn out by the end!
Karli Perrin has totally smashed it with Buzz's story and I couldn't get enough of him. I was gutted when I read the last page, I wanted it continue indefinitely. I totally fell for that larger-than-life hunk with his naughty, dirty talking ways. I loved how he knew just what Lori needed, even before she did. Although I thought thee were perfect together, I did think Lori strung Buzz along a bit longer than was necessary. I wanted to give her a shake to get her to see sense.
Buzz is a funny, hot, passionately explosive and emotional tale of a second chance romance between two people who are destined to be together, no matter what. I have growled in frustration, fanned myself with the hot passion and laughed my way through this book and I can't recommend it highly enough. Do yourself a favour and make Buzz your next read, you won't regret it.
Just wanted to start off by thanking the author for this ARC copy of Buzz. I thought this was a funny, lighthearted read and it was super quick to get through, generally I was a fan of the writing style and I think the author did a good job of portraying Buzz’s personality — he had some super funny bits that actually made me laugh out loud.
However, I didn’t read The Honey Trap before this and I think that took away from the story a bit in terms of knowing the foundation of Buzz and Lori’s relationship, since this is a second chance romance. I would’ve liked a little more refreshing in terms of the past in this book and a little more insight into their relationship in general in Buzz because I felt like at times it felt a little rushed.
Also, SPOILER but I’m not a fan of cheating in books and that really brought down my rating, unfortunately. Communication is key and sometimes I felt like that was lacking.
Anyway, if you’re looking for a fast-paced, witty read — this is the book for you. Also, Buzz really made the book for me and his characterization was great. Once again, thank you to the author for providing this ARC!
Thank you so much to the author for giving me the chance to read the ARC.
As much I really wanted to love this book, sadly it was one I could not get into. I felt the relationship rushed, and although it is recommended to read the Honey Trap to get a better idea of the connection and history of Buzz and Lori, as a standalone, I just wasn’t feeling their chemistry. The writing was solid, but character and relationship development felt too plain. One thing I did enjoy, was Buzz, he is a very funny character and his interaction with various other characters was very entertaining.
Loved it!! I’ve been dying to read Buzz’s story ever since meeting him in The Honey Trap. This guy is so funny and he always knows just what to say. I recommend reading The Honey Trap first so you can start from the beginning with these wonderful characters! The four of them (Buzz, Lori, Mason and Sophia) really do make the perfect group of friends, and I was so happy to see that Mason and Sophia were doing well, and it was awesome that they made several appearances in this book. It made my heart oh so happy!
While Buzz and Lori’s journey to hopefully get a HEA isn’t an easy one, it does show how much both of them care about the other. I could really feel the pain that Buzz was feeling throughout the whole book and oh did my heart ache for him! I just wanted to give him a hug and tell him that everything would be okay.
It was really nice to see him grow as a person in this book and get a backside to his story that he isn’t just the goofy playboy, he’s a real guy with a lot of hidden emotions.
This is such a hard review to write. I postponed it for a very long time, because I had such a bitter taste on my mouth when I was done with this and I wanted to see if this would remain. I struggled so hard while reading this and it actually hurt me, because I have loved this author's books before and sadly this was the only exception that I didn't. I loved Buzz as a character since I read The Honey Trap last year and I couldn't wait for his book, so it was such a big sorrow when his book was released and I didn't enjoy it as much as I wanted to.
I'll start with my issues with this one, without spoiling anything, but I honestly felt lucky for reading The Honey Trap beforehand because it also helped my reading with this one. What do I mean? People who hadn't read that book, may had some difficulties due to the jumping scenes at the beginning of the book. For someone who hadn't met these characters beforehand and didn't know how they met and started their 'relationship' this would appear to be an insta love with time laps that made no sense. I have to say that I needed more of their beginning as a couple, as well. I do understand why this happened though, because the main subject of the book wasn't to read a slow burn romance, but a sort of second chance romance.
Coming to my other issues, were the heroine's behavior. I honestly feared that Buzz would be the one that would piss me off, but alas it was Lori. I want to say so much about what bothered me, but I can't without spoiling, so I'll just say I didn't approve of her actions and didn't even care to see them together at some point, because she was just.. ugh.
Overall, there were definitely some scenes that I enjoyed, like when they had some scenes with their common friends, some bookish scenes and honourable mentions I appreciated and Buzz remains a favorite character. Maybe this book was a bust for me, but Karli writes great stories and I can't wait to read her next book :)
When I read Honey Trap a few weeks ago, I must admit I was irked by Buzz's multiple conquests and blatant disregard to relationships. Mason's best friend was everything that every woman's mother would hesitate to meet. Buzz was a playboy, a Lothario, a womanizer, a rake, whatever you want to call him. He's all that and so much more. He even had his own version of Throwback Thursdays where he reconnected and reconvened with his ex-girlfriends so they could "reminisce" their pasts together. In short, he slept with his ex during this day, no strings attached.
Now that Buzz got his own story to tell, I am telling you... Buzz deserves 28 stars, to infinity and beyond!! O.M.G. Broken hearted Buzz burned me. Emotionally distraught Buzz nearly killed me. Happy, flirty, sexy trashtalking Buzz resuscitated me. Buzz with his mint choco chip ice cream floored me.
I didn't expect to love this book so much, yet I did! A rare feat when you think about how Buzz really annoyed me at first, until I finally got to know him better and how he pursued and persuaded and persisted his feelings for Lori. It was great to see how deep these two got with each other amidst the changes that happened between them within six months. Their crazy banter filled with sexual innuendo really had me laughing out loud. Plus the addition of the vanilla dentist into the mix absolutely made this story lived up to Buzz's catchphrase, to infinity and beyond.
I'd like to thank Karli Perrin for this hilariously buzzworthy story. Oh, and let's not forget the special participation of some of my favorite authors that were included in the book, like CoHo, McGuire, EL James, and John Green, to name a few. They're all a hoot! Likewise, I couldn't stop laughing and grinning and snorting at all the characters. They're all so fun to read. Even the often serious Mason Hunter deserved a slow clap for his undying friendship and outlandish relationship with the man of the hour. Seriously, this book couldn't get any more better! Karli Perrin claims to bring book boyfriends to life... and she really does! Now I've fallen for Buzz for all the right and wrong reasons.
I guess what I'm really trying to say is - Karli is my unicorn!
To Infinity and Beyond is exactly where this book took me! The journey of Buzz and Lori was heart wrenching and emotional
To watch Buzz’s fun animated personality suffer so much heartbreak killed me that much I spent quite a lot of the book wanting to throat punch certain characters! He becomes so lost at times I wish I could hold him and tell him it will all be ok. His personality still comes through at times don’t get me wrong he’s still the amazing guy we met in The Honey Trap but he’s also grows so much as a person throughout his journey. He’s taken the step he thinks he needs to be a better man but one dinner is all it takes for him to realise it might be too little too late, all I can say is I’m glad he didn’t loose his determination because that’s what really gets him through.
Lori was in a horrible place after spending months fighting through her heartbreak to come out the other side she accepts what she wants from life is something only written in the books she loves so much. She needs the security of a love that although may not be the fireworks she experienced before it’s safe and her heart is in no danger, that is until she realises the heartbreak might have left her but those feelings so tried to bury are still there running strong. But does she let her self get swept away again only to end up hurt all over again or should she stay on the straight and narrow road even when it doesn’t excite her nearly as much!
A witty wonderful journey of discovering what love really is, not the sweet smiles and flowers but the feeling of not being able to breath without the other person, about endless hours spent just thinking about them and wanting what best for them even if that kills you in the process.
I fell in love with Buzz when we were introduced to him in The Honey Trap. Now I am gonna tell you, you absolutely do not need to read The Honey Trap. This story can totally be read as a stand alone but you get so much more Buzzy goodness if you read both.
So onto my love letter to Buzz (and by association, Karli Perrin, because he was born from her talented mind).
Buzz is the story Lori and Buzz. Buzz has always been the consummate player, with his Throwback Thursdays and Follow Fridays (you think you know what they mean, but Buzz has a whole new spin on them!). He and Lori meet and fall into a fun, respectable relationship until the truth of what Lori does for a living comes to light. Buzz has a hard time dealing and decides it's better to walk away....grrrr.
Flash forward six months later and Buzz has done some growing, some maturing but keeps his hilarious sense of humor (which I absolutely FLOVE) and wants to try again with Lori, but is he too late?
This story is gonna make you laugh, it's gonna make you cry, scream in frustration and it made me gasp with the bit of a twist that was thrown in! It's everything I enjoy in a story! The quick, snappy dialogue and the white hot chemistry between Lori and Buzz is amazing!
You will get surprises and the ending is so "Buzz-worthy"! You are gonna fall in love with Ms. Perrin's writing! I cannot wait to see what she comes out with next!!
Buzz, Buzz, Buzz you had me at Hello! hehe but seriously Karli Perrin kills this book with Buzz's outrageous and lovable character that had me rooting for him the entire book. I thoroughly enjoyed The Honey Trap and will always read anything that this author publishes. Buzz is hilarious, lovable, and being a second chance romance has you rooting for these two the entire book! I could not put it down and finished it in a day, because its that good!
4.5 Stars {I received this as an ARC in exchange for an Honest review}
Oh my goodness this book. I love Buzz and Lori! Buzz is such an asshole in the beginning but he totally makes up for it. I loved him!! I loved Lori so much! She is such a book nerd and it's so amazing! The beginning of this book is very fast but once we get to where Buzz is trying to get Lori back it's wonderful. I loved being inside of Buzz's head and getting this book from his POV. Him and Lori are so amazing. Buzz has to fight to show Lori that he is still the one for her. Lori's struggles are so real and she doesn't just fall back into Buzz's arms. I enjoyed this book so freaking much!! I finished it in two days. I laughed so much, Buzz is so funny. I fell in love with both of these crazy characters. I was so invested in their story. I definitely recommend this book! It's so good. I will for sure read this book again! I loved it. Karli is such a wonderful writer!!
His speeches of love were just amazing, but oh my little heart broke a few times for him! Just enough arrogance that he was funny rather than been annoying. I love him.
What a beautiful, hilarious and sexy book. Buzz was definitely not a buzz kill. What a glorious creature he is. Karli, you made me laugh and cry. The ride was indeed wild.
I give Buzz the characters a million stars. Buzz the book only gets four, because as much as I loved Buzz, I just did not love Lori. Maybe this is because the entire book is told from Buzz’s point of view. You love Buzz and root for him and Lori just keeps leading him on and leaving him in pieces.
I understand that she has difficult choices to make, but I just couldn’t connect with her. I often found her selfish as she carelessly dragged three hearts around with seemingly no regards.
As much as I didn’t love Lori, I loved Buzz enough for the both of them. You reluctantly accept her because he loves her so much and you want him to be happy. Buzz is just precious and he burrows into your heart and you just want all the best for him.
I will say that I loved them together in the beginning and if this is what they’re like after their HEA, then I’m 100% here for them being together. So while I had my struggles with Lori, I still super recommend this book. It’s funny, it’s sweet, it’s heartfelt and you won’t want to put it down.
oh my god. Just OH.MY.GOD. I am speechless. Reading the Honey Trap, I thought Buzz was nothing more than Mason's weird best friend, but he's so much more. ASDFGHJKL 😍😍😍 Literally no words can encompass how much I want my own Buzz right now. Even though he wasn't as much of an avid reader as Lori (and omg all the references were A-FREAKING-MAZING), he went and read all of her favourites because that's the kind of man he is. This book made me laugh, cry, and clench my hands into fists because the anticipation was killing me. I'm so glad books like these exist, because they make me believe in love, and humanity, again. I honestly want more Buzz and Lori, and Mason and Sophia. Those two couples are legit #RelationshipGoals.
What an emotional rollercoaster! and yet again, a book i could not put down!
We first meet Buzz and Lori in The Honey Trap as side characters and best friends to Mason and Sophia. Buzz was this incredibly exhausting womanizer, but once he met Lori, he was just exhaustingly persistent. I didn't think i would enjoy his story as much as the first, but i was completely invested in the drama that ensued.
It was... a lot. There was cheating, which i can't stand overall, but i don't know... Buzz and Lori were just meant to be together. Both made some messed up decisions that could've been avoided, but hey, it all worked out for them in the end. Surprisingly, Buzz was actually a really thoughtful guy... in his own buzz-worthy way ;)
After I read The Honey Trap last year, I was like, I need her to write Buzz's book! I was so excited when she announced it. We met Buzz in Mason and Sophia's book, he was the fun, funny, hot best friend of Mason. His love, Lori is Sophia's best friend.
28 isn't just numbers anymore. I will never look or hear the number 28 without thinking of these two. Their code. There were so many cute quirks of their relationship in this book, it was adorable.
Buzz has found the love of his life, this is so different, especially coming from a guy who loves to play the field and not be in any relationship. But, Lori is his person. But, he just can't get over what she does for a living, and he breaks it off with his love. Six months pass, and he's gone through some issues and dealt with them, he's ready to win her back, but she is already in a relationship.
I loved all his declarations to her. OMG like really, major heart eyes!!! Buzz's character is not for everyone, but I think he is funny the way he just out right says things, even if they're inappropriate, it makes his character more genuine and more real. It was steamy, their chemistry is HOT! There were really sad moments where I wanted to jump in and hug him and never let him go. He loves so hard and deeply, you can't help but to fall in love with him. Loved their story.
Buzz was a fun, second chance romance. This book has characters from The Honey Trap. Buzz is a playboy, but a very lovable one. The one you just wait to watch them fall hard. I went back and forth between liking the heroine and not. Sometimes the transitions felt a like bit jarring like I was picked and plopped down. It a minute to figure out who I’m with and what’s going on. This book had a fresh feeling to it. I look forward to more from this author.
I. Need. More. I need the after Sophia and Mason are married. I need the after Buzz and Lori have the baby.
I couldn’t put the book down. I loved the seriousness and the laugh out loud parts. It was just the right mix of pulling you in and tugging at your heart strings to lightening the mood and making you snort.
Karli Perrin, I’m hooked. I’m a new fan and I need more! Ow, I’m on to reading “The Book Boyfriend”
For off let me say thank you to the author for generously providing an ARC.
I wanted to love Buzz but I had some trouble with this book. Part one of this book was ok...it was like basically like they meet...they’re in a relationship and then they break up and I was left with wanting the in between story...I wanted all the things leading up to them falling in love but there was none of that. Part two is Buzz trying to get Lori back but she has a boyfriend. The problem is that I didn’t feel the connection ...I didn’t feel the chemistry they are supposed to have. I didn’t feel these unresolved feeling they have for each other because all that was non existent in Part One. Sorry for the spoiler but there is cheating and I’m not really down with that in books. Lori can’t seem to make up her mind about what she wants. She acts like Buzz can’t be the man for her but it doesn’t stop her from having sex with him while she’s with another man.
On the brighter side of Buzz...this book is funny. Buzz is the entire book. His banter with every character is hilarious.
it was very quick to read, and i really flew thro the pages.
It’s more of a second chance romance, but not in the way that i’m used to it.
The story starts with How Buzz and Lori met, and how they had this instant-Click. it was so satisfying to read. And then they get together. And they have this on nd off thing thro the novel.
Which as i said is fun and quick and all, but i didn’t feel that connection with either of them, that makes me root for them to get back together.
Like they are fun as the idea of a couple, but deep down, i didn’t have any memories of how they actually fell in love, so it was fun with the on- and off thing but it just wasn’t meaningful to me.
On the other hand, Lori, is a bookworm, the books she read are basically my favorite so the book-nerdy references were just AMAZING! I absolutely loved how relatable Lori was as a character ( not a partner in a relationship)
Buzz, Holy hotness, that dude is sexy AS HELL, he is my current book-boyfriend and he will be for a while, I AM SURE OF THAT.
"i'm going to put all of your damn book boyfriends to shame"
Anyways, it was such a quick read, if you wanna speed up your reading challenge or participate in a read-a-thon
I didn’t think I could hate a female character as much as Keira from the Thoughtless series but Lori comes ridiculously close. Loved Buzz but the way the story progressed and Lori herself ruined everything good about the book.
Reviewed on behalf of 3 Degrees of Fiction book blog. I loved this book!!! Buzz is such a playboy but he met his match in Lori. She made him develop feelings that he has never had before. Shockingly after many years of playing the field and loving every second of it, he found himself in an actual relationship. Lori was the woman he didn't know he needed or wanted in his life. He adored everything about her. Except for her job. This job was unique in the fact the majority of the story was him trying to win her back after he stupidly broke things off because of her job. I get it, I do. I wouldn't be happy either. All that it made him was miserable. Buzz then went on to try and woo Lori. At times it was funny, but most the time my heart was breaking for him. As this book is only in his pov, I could feel his emotions, love and utter helplessness come through on every page. Then near the end I thought, well this is it - the relationship is done. But in actual fact I couldn't have asked for a better ending.
The early days of Buzz and Lori’s relationship is featured in The Honey Trap. Buzz is a second-chance romance and focuses on their relationship second time around, after spending some time apart but in my opinion Buzz can be read as a stand-alone (I haven’t read The Honey Trap yet and I totally loved this book as a stand-alone, I can’t wait to read THT after reading this book tbh..
BUZZ is the book you NEED in your life. I never expected to read such an angsty book. Buzz and Lori’s story prove love isn’t always easy and sometimes it’s what makes it great, this story ripped my heart out but I enjoyed EVERY.SINGLE.SECOND of it and would give anything to be able to read it by the first time again!
I will never be able to look at Buzz Lightyear without thinking about this Buzz ever again! The sexual tension between Buzz and Lori is nothing I have ever read before, they flirt, they tease each other but I think above all, they really love each other or the person they are while being together. Buzz was a cocky, idiot who changed women as often as he changed his underwear (#TBT has a whole different meaning here). Then he meets Lori and she really changes him or more like inspires him to change and makes him tear his walls down. I loved reading how Buzz truly put a lot of effort on making her happy and how much he loves making her happy. I mean, where can I buy my own Buzz? Yes, book boyfriend material everyone...more like husband (I’m so in love with him) but let’s keep going... I wanted to scream at them so much!!!! I felt there was always something left unsaid between them, and I just wanted to make them say to the other what they really felt instead of just making assumptions. The rollercoaster of emotions is one of the greatest I have read I wouldn’t be able to not read this book on one sitting. The effort and fight he puts on Lori’s love is just what everyone would love to have. After there very angsty dialogue there HEA was P-E-R-F-E-C-T
