This started off so strong. A hunter x Alpha wolf? Fated mates? Protective H? Heck yes!
After half way it seemed to just drag. The plot twist wasn’t a surprise and the fact Ero’s couldn’t be found both times annoyed me.
It was a nice and quick read. I read this on Inkitt. :)

Never read this author before and this book was a very good read. Look to read more of this author's work. I enjoyed the characters and I thought Eros was such a patient wolf.

It started out really great, I couldn't even put the book down. The back stories were unique, not those cliche stories you read all the time. I was really getting into it. Then it took a turn for the worse.
I don't know why they keep saying Eros is the most feared alpha when his own pack ain't got no respect for him. Because the pack members keeps disrespecting and hurting her (in dumb ways and/or for dumb reasons I might add) without the slighted regard for him. Then he lets it go with a slap on the wrisk, like are you kidding? Most feared alpha my butt.
I'm not going to even talk about the writing because we'll be here for days. But between the writing and the plot itself, I could barely force myself to make it to the end.

This book a really fucking good, HOWEVER.
So any unanswered questions how tf can she just not a acknowledge what happened to her when her mates bro orders her kidnapping, what happened was disgusting and violating.
So what about the other pack member that were in on it?
ALSO why did the rival female pack member just HAPPEN to be in the facility parkinglot when Emira escapes.
One more thing, apparently Breeders can have multiple litters a year, say she has like 4 babies per three litters in one year, these mofos can live to like 2,000 years old, taking into consideration she cant breed because shes a child, skip those years and assuming she'll eventually go through menopause AND her mate is already like 900 that gives us about 12-18,000 muthfukin babies. THATS A LOT OF BABY NAMES TO PICK OUT AND THATS A LOTTA GROCERIES. Just sayin.

Ummmmmmmm?! What happened!? This was a 5 star read...then all of a sudden it dropped to a 1 star. I almost DNF! *spoilers*
She gets kidnapped and degraded....and nothing gets addressed HOW MANY TIMES IS ZANTHOS ALLOWED TO ENDANGER THE PACK BEFORE HIS ASS DIES?!?
After that things just kind of keep getting thrown in there. I've read several books where the h works at a government experiment lab but they are ALWAYS justified some how but not this h!! Several times they talk about how she experimented and lead to their death. Then they throw in a chapter about her sister. This book was so disappointing because it started off sooooo good great plot but everything fell apart for me after they finally mated. And another thing why was she complaining SO much about the sex!! That really annoyed me. *spoiler*ALSO 900 year old virgin?! Ohhhhkkkkkkaaaaaayyyyyyy

This book has a good premise, however it does fall though in a few places.
Emira is a human working in a research facility that experiments on shifters and other creatures, however making her feel uneasy as she looks for answers as to what she is she has already handed in her notice.
With an attack on the facility however she never gets the chance. She and her colleagues are kidnapped and not treated well, only when she is near death do they stop and things go from bad to worse. Eventually she manages to escape, but she finds her way to another pack ground and she is now stuck with another alpha.
Lot happens in this book, but I struggled to really connect to it or the characters. I have book 2 to read, so i'm hoping that is a little better.

Eros Hall
This is one of the first werewolf books I've read. Tay has given us an amazing story and characters. Eros is a real "gentleman in the streets but a freak in the sheets" and boy do I love it.
He's a charmer and owns you from the first time we meet him. He's an Alpha and is a really good one.
Emira is gorgeous, fire and strong. She's his mate and the fact that he's been so patient with her, is perfect to see. The fact that he waited for her, His mate is so beautiful.
She goes through a lot in order to be with him and it takes time for them to finally be a couple. Their bond forms beautifully and touches your heart. Their moments are both funny and sexy

I vaguely remember the plot and I have to say the foundation is there but that's it. I didn't like the main female lead and neither did I like the male either. I never finished reading if that tells you anything. This novel isn't something I recommend not even during the COVID-19 pandemic where we are all stuck inside.

Potential
I thought the storyline was lacking. It started off great but then the lines became blurred with Eros in the picture and honestly I couldn’t get into the characters. I liked the prophecy and the buildup but how could zeros protect her when the pack is against them. I just didn’t feel it and it’s a shame because there is so much potential.

Interesting read, but...
Quite intriguing idea for a shifter book, unique too. I, most definitely, did not read storyline like this. Saying that, I found that there were lots "holes" in the plot to fill in. I hope, this information was purposely withheld and I'll get my answers within following books.

I loved it.
This her first book but you wouldn't know that by reading it. This is a new spin on werewolf lore and I always enjoy that. I hope she follows this up with a second in and makes it a series.

This book is absolutely fantastic I love it the tay the author really knows how to right I am so intrigued I have only read the Wattpad version but I can tell this edited version will be much better I just had to give a review before I even started to read the sequel

This book was SO good !
Romance, and action packed ! Kept me awake until 4 I’m the morning 😭. It’s one of those books that when you start reading you can’t put it down. I was cooking, cleaning doing everything while still reading this book ❤️

This certainly had lots of action and fighting
It was a good story line. The two !Ain characters had some flesh but the rest were talking heads. There was a bit too much back story and filler words to be smooth paced. All in all a good read.

I loved the book. I first started on Wattpad and then I bought the book off Amazon. It has a nice flow even though the ending got a bit messy in my opinion.

Oops I read this in a day. I came for the smut and stayed for the story. The writing is a bit lacking, BUT - this is a first novel and the fight and spicy scenes are written well
