Flirty Dancing (The Green Room Chronicles, #3) by J.D. Frettier was fun, light heart and quirky read, that will have you in tears both happy and sad.
Not my first read from this author or in this series, needless to say, but once I saw book three go up, I was excited and couldn't wait to get my hands on it.
This book, as well as the others in this series, plays on the, what happens after death mystery. It's well thought out, and as I have said, fun, quirky, and full of laughs. It’s more on the playful side of the steaminess, and gives a nice nod to Dirty Dancing at the end. I have to say, out of all the books in the series so far, I enjoyed this book the most. I think it was because the MC is much younger and truly loved her husband and family, not saying the others didn't, but this one I was just, I don't know, it struck a cord with me, and I just loved the MC to bits. It was as quirky as it was heart touching and steamy.
Overall this book, this series, is a must read, and gets my super high recommendation and my stamp of approval.

Her demise will really tug the heart strings since she leaves behind a new 2nd husband and two kids. She’s always been one to take life by the reins so why let the afterlife stop her? Determined to still be there for her family she enlists the help of her new Green Room pals to find a way to make it happen. Just because she’s dead doesn’t mean she has to stop livin’. If life is gettin’ you down then I recommend this humorous and naughty look at the afterlife. And while you’re at it be sure to pick up books 1 & 2. They’ll be sure to brighten your day.

Flirty Dancing by J.D. Frettier a four-star read that will have you a twirling. This is the third story in the Green Room Chronicles, and you don’t have to read them in order, but they are so funny, they each bring another part out. This time it’s the chance of Kitty to show us more than her moves. We do see some of the characters from the first two and they help show Kitty the ropes, they are a little different to what she is used to. This will have you laughing out loud, there are some great one liners and situations in this one.

Nice quick read. The story is heartbreaking but sweet and a little sexy. Poor Kitty is at a loss when she dies in a freak accident in her pole dancing studio. She has to leave her kids and husband behind, but that just doesn't sit well with her. Upon entering the green room or Purgatory, she meets some ladies that end up becoming some very true friends to her, as well as being all the help she needs to fulfill her dreams of seeing her kids grow and to have precious moments with her husband. Milly and Gilly are the ghostologist and scientist that work to make it possible for Kitty to spend a sexy night with her husband, and it is so beautiful how all these people flock to her and help provide exactly what she needs or the guidance she needs to live in the green room and thrive.
This book was funny, I really enjoyed all the characters that played a part in creating this “green room”. It is sad how we come to learn how all of them die but the way they make light of their situations makes their personalities shine through and tells how great they are. This is my first book by this author but after reading Flirty Dancing, I am eager to check out the other books in this series. I recommend this book, it is a great read if you are looking for something short and sweet and also a little crazy.

Flirty Dancing is the 3rd instalment in the Green Room Chronicles Series by JD Frettier. The Green Room Chronicles are a series of funny, spicy novellas set in the afterlife. This novella is approx. 81 pages and I devoured it in one sitting.
In Flirty Dancing we are introduced to Kitty Eatin (sorry, just her name alone has me giggling). Kitty is a pole dancing mother of 2 who is married to the love of her life. So it’s a major shock when the grim reaper comes to claim her and she finds herself as the newest resident in The Green Room.
Beloved characters Dee, Bonnie and Linda from the previous books are there to welcome her and introduce her to the wonderful world of the Green Room. With the help of a ghostologist Kitty is able to reconnect with her beloved husband and children who are struggling with life without her.

Flirty Dancing is the 3rd instalment in J.D Frettier’s Green Room Chronicles series. If you are looking for funny spicy novellas set in the afterlife then this series is for sure for you! You will cackle like a witch and roll your eyes and hope that there will be more instalments and that there will be many more stories telling the stories of the Green Room residents! And by the way, you should really read the stories in their rightful order to really get the maximum out of them!
When you know that this is a story about afterlife and the title says “Flirty dancing”, what kind of dancing pops into your head? In mine, all those funky pole dancing videos from YouTube! And yes, you would be right; we have Kitty Eating, a pole dancing mother who is led to the Green Room by, surprise surprise, by our friend Grim Reaper! The characters from the previous stories are meeting her and help her to adjust to her new reality.
I mean, yes, all the stories are funny, still, they all start with the main character dying and how they struggle with truly understanding they are dead … while reading Kitty’s story I was thinking in my head “I wonder what I would be feeling and thinking”…
It is a quick read so if you need some pick me up then go for it!

Kitty has a tragic accident and ends up in this strange place. A group of wonderful women meet her and tell her she is dead and in the Green Room, a purgatory of sorts. But she can't be dead!! She is way too young!! Not to mention her family that she left behind. They need her. Can she come up with a way to still help them, not to mention show her wonderful husband just how much he means to her? With she be able to survive in this crazy place? With the help of her new friends, it may just all be possible....
This series has been so much fun and this book continues the excitement. We are introduced to a new character, but the ones you loved from the series are back too. They make a wonderful group of people. This book is hot, amusing, and so intoxicating. It is not a very long read, but I could not put it down until I was done. Different enough from the rest of the series to be new and exciting, it fits in seamlessly.
If you enoy a steamy, humorous shorty read, I highly recommend this book.

I could not wait for this, the next in the Green Room Chronicles..I've loved every one of these so far, they are all quick and fun reads with just enough of a seriousness to keep them feeling real on one hand and then interesting on the other.
Being that I have read the 2 before this one I feel like I can say without a doubt that you don't want to read these out of order. There are characters in this one that we meet in the first two , and not having those stories would not allow you to appreciate the whole of this story. It's a fun read yet also has those times that make you sad and find yourself feeling the feelings that Kitty was feeling and I loved that the author can do this.
I want to say this is my favorite of the 3 but then I think about the others and think I can't pick a favorite..I Love them all and I hope we have many more green room stories to come. I love this author and will read anything she releases.

I have read this series from the beginning and it just keeps getting better. This is the third book of the Green Room series. I fell back in love with these characters. This talented author’s writing style makes you feel like you are also one of the characters in the book. I was so excited to read this I stopped everything and started it when I got it. I was so hooked on this story I read it in only one sitting.
Kitty Eatin is married to the love of her life. She is taking some pole dancing lessons for him but she never thought it would cause her death. Kitty finds herself in the green room. She is so upset that she had to leave earth. Kitty doesn’t know what to do until she meet the ladies of the green room. She quickly becomes friends with these woman. Kitty misses her husband so much she wants to find a way to have one more night with him. When she finds out that it is possible she will do anything to make it happen. Will Kitty find a way to see her husband or will it be a lost cause?

But I also think this story has more emotional moments in it than I remember the other two books having. But like the other two stories, it’s funny, cheeky, and entirely entertaining! There are supernatural elements, magic, and some spice to be found in this witty romp. I am really enjoying Ms. Frettier’s imaginative, fun, and slightly tongue-in-cheek look at the afterlife!
An unfortunate stripper pole incident takes Kitty Eatin to purgatory- aka The Green Room. She’s not ready to give up living, and certainly isn’t ready to say goodbye to her husband and children. So she enlists the help of some newfound friends and comes up with a plan. What ensues makes for some very entertaining reading.

Flirty Dancing: A Spicy Romantic Comedy About the Afterlife by J.D. Frettier is the third book in The Green Room Chronicles. This time we are introduced to Kitty and she is not going to let her death stop her. I recommend reading these in order because each book is adding to the next book with characters and stories. This is a short, fun read. Kitty is a good addition to the Green Room crew. I like that she is younger but still works well with the other ladies. This is one of those books that is a bit outrageous (as is the whole series) but makes it a fun read. I like that the idea of purgatory is a light-hearted fun place versus a scary place. This is one of those series I was not sure I would like but I am glad I gave it a try. I laugh out loud at some of the antics and I enjoy having a book I do not have to be thinking deep thoughts to understand. If you need a fun book and do not mind some adult situations this might do the trick for you.

She has found herself in The Green Room. It is here that she has new experiences and finds friendship. She also has a wish, to reconnect with the love of her life. Will Kitty succeed? Read this book to find out. Kitty is a character that I found myself rooting for. I enjoyed that some of the characters from the previous stories also make an appearance. Don’t miss out on a book that had me trying not to fall off the couch laughing and also had moments that warmed my heart. Highly recommended reading.

With plenty of tongue in cheek laugher along the way ensuring it is a magical read. It is witty and funny, and oh so entertaining, just as the first two where. J.D. has certainly written something that is a brilliant concept and made it work so so well. It is as wonderful and clever as it is endearing and the women are just hysterical and had me laughing out loud from start to finish.
Kitty is in the prime of her life with two children and a wonderful husband but all her hope and dreams are no longer a reality. She is now an official member of the Green Room, where she meets the delightful ladies, Dee, Bonnie and Linda, that show her, her new way of life and the fun begins.

Flirty Dancing: A Spicy Romantic Comedy about the Afterlife is the 3rd book in the Green Room Chronicles series by JD Frettier. While it can be read as a stand alone book, they series complement each other and have overlapping characters. They are all short and easy to read, and are funny and entertaining. The series focuses on what happens in the afterlife, with this book specifically focused on Kitty. Kitty is a young mom, recently remarried to the love of her life.She is finally at a good place, owns her own business, when she dies on her stripper pole. She finds herself in the Green Room, purgatory, and is taken under the wing of the main characters from book 1 and 2, Bonnie, Dee and Linda, along with some new characters. With their help, she returns to earth to plan the birthday present of a lifetime to her husband Sam. I recommend this series to anyone who is not easily offended. It is hilariously entertaining.

Flirty Dancing: A Spicy Romantic Comedy About the Afterlife (The Green Room Chronicles Book 3) by J.D. Frettier is a five star novel. I have loved every minute of this series. The author is really able to draw you in and make this afterlife believable. When Kitty finds herself in an emergency room and then brought into the green room with Dee, Bonnie and Linda, she realizes her life will never be the same, or her afterlife. She knows she can’t change what has happened but after falling off her stripper pole, she dies and leaves her babies behind. The only good thing is that she now has a reliable husband who she knows will take care of her children no matter what. As Kitty tries to find her way back to Sam for just a little while, she helps him to take care of the kids and help them through her death. Even though this series is about people who have passed on, the author is able to get the reader laughing right from the start. I think this is my favorite part!

Flirty Dancing is the latest installment in the Green Room Chronicles from JD Frettier and I loved every single second of it! Being the third novella in the series I knew a bit of what to expect and still was taken by surprise several moments along Kitty’s journey. In Flirty Dancing we are once again following a sad soul that has landed in the Green Room, or a hilarious purgatory, and this one Is Kitty Eatin’s tale. Kitty just seemed to have the life she wanted when she found herself her and now she really wants to find a way to be there for her family even though she is no longer alive. Will the gals and the specialists in the Green Room be able to help Kitty out? You will definitely want to see what happens, and if you haven't checked out the rest of the novels make sure you do while we wait and see what will come next in Green Room Chronicles from JD Frettier.

As with the previous two books this story is highly entertaining. This time it is Kitty who ends up in this delightfully new version of purgatory and is left to navigate her way through this new world. Clearly there are antics and hilarity as she begins her whole new journey.
As usual the authors writing style did its job in grabbing my attention and holding on tight. I always find myself chuckling about something that happened in the book a couple of days later. They are light hearted and fun and are the perfect books to turn to when you need to unwind and switch off from “reality”. I am looking forward to seeing what might be next.

My heart breaks every time a child gets separated from their mom. The author has struck again with the witty text and emotional luggage. I get the appeal of this story. We all want to know what happens after we’re gone. This just goes to show you that we all need a little faith and hope. Kitty was an interesting character. I don’t understood the need to change their appearance or to get something they always wanted. The author finds a great way for you to see the humor in this awful situation. These stories keep getting better. I hope the finally book is either them getting their lives back or something else grand because there has to be a light at the end of all this. A reason for it all.

Each book is short and can be read as a stand alone but the stories mean more when you’ve already had a glimpse into the past of characters in the first two books. I promise once you read the first, you’ll want to read the rest immediately.
I don’t even know where to start on the book itself, Flirty Dancing has a bit of everything, it’s hilarious and naughty but there is real emotion mixed in making characters relatable. I can’t recommend this book enough and I really hope there will be more Green Room Chronicles to come.

This is the third book in her Series and I can I just say I wasn't disappointed. I really like how the book seems to keep the flow of the series. I really felt the emotions that Kitty was going through. When your time is up your time is up but she definitely was gone too soon. I really like how the author ties different prospects of the afterlife and gives the slight comedy twist as well as keeping the romance in it.
I found that the author really has a refreshing way to put the humor into the story and brings the characters to life or should I say the afterlife. The way that the author entwines the characters in the afterlife with the living characters really adds to the story. Kitty brings the little bit of spark to the Greenroom and really brings a nice twist to the Three ladies already there.I really look forward to reading more from this author and this series in the future.

These books are so funny and will have you laughing out loud! This one is the story of Kitty Eatins who is a Stripper and she loves it. Never in her wildest dreams did she think the Pole would be the end of her. When she dies a tragic, crazy death leaving behind a new second husband and 2 kids they are devastated. When she gets to Purgatory and lands in the Green Room she meets up with characters from the other books who offer to help her get accustomed to her new life. She sets out to find her one and only love. Will she succeed or will she be miserable in "Purgatory"? Read Flirty Dancing to find out!

Flirty Dancing is the third book I have read in the Green Room Chronicles series and I think this was my favourite. Once again, we are quickly thrust into the thrilling world of the afterlife and we reacquaint ourselves with Bonnie, Dee and Linda, while being introduced to our new lead character of Kitty – a 20 something mother who has met an abrupt end while pole dancing. It has a slightly different feel to the previous two books as the lead character was in the prime of her life and felt like this was a premature death. I love the support she gets from the terrible trio.
As with the previous novels, the characters were entertaining and colourful and their adventures were spicy and fun. I enjoyed this as it was a no-hassle, short read for an evening after a long day at work. It is pure escapism and a little bit of naughty fun thrown in.

Flirty Dancing is funny, romantic, and definitely pulls at your heart strings. This short read is definitely my favorite out of this series. Kitty dies after an accident while practicing for her pole dancing class. She is devastated at what she has left behind, which is what really pulled at my heart strings. She meets the rest of the crew in the green room who help her out and help her adjust. This story was funny and easy to follow. I could not put it down and I loved how it ended. This book is an excellent read and can be read as a standalone. I do, however, recommend the other books in this series. The author has done an amazing job with them.

I've read the other 2 books in this series but this is the first one that I've read since my mother died and I have to tell you - if there is a "green room" I hope to hell she has made friends as fun as these gals. (of course that's as far as I'm going to go with that thought because if there really is a Dr. Draper and she is visiting, I'm better off not knowing).
This story packed a punch for me.
Light and sad and funny and all these emotions tied up inside. It's a combination of YOLO and YODO and how acceptance plays a key role in settling in to a new "normal".
This is a fun, short story that I absolutely recommend. I would recommend it to my mother's book club but - well, I can't so I will recommend it to you.
