Don't miss this inspirational Christian romance series, brought
USA Today bestselling author, MARION UECKERMANN’s passion for writing was sparked when she moved to Ireland with her family. Her love of travel has influenced her contemporary inspirational romances set in novel places.
I initially read this compendium of the nine inspirational Christian novellas in the original Tuscan Legacy series written by seven wonderful authors, including the bonus. New tenth novella concerning the grandmother [matriarch] of Rossi family, Isabella Rossi. But after reading it I decided to purchase this KINDLE item to be part of my permanent collection, especially since the cost made it only ten cents for each novella.
Even though the majority of books I’ve read [over 50%] have been for Christian books, it’s been a long time since I’ve read a wonderful, inspirational Christian romance; here, I had an opportunity to binge in reading ten such stories. Every family has secrets concerning its members, and the Rossi family is no exception. Wanting to celebrate her 80th birthday, Isabella Rossi, wishes to bring together all of her nine estranged adult grandchildren to the family estate located in the hills of Tuscan, a family separated due to distance, deaths and naturally personal secrets.
The stories contained within the pages of this book, are stories which are fraught with inspirational emotions of companionship, family, devotion and most importantly forgiveness; which are part and parcel of the love and happiness that they reportedly had found. While this might seem the case are there more secrets which are going to be made known by the end of the summer? And if they are, are these secrets going to be forgiven and forgotten about, or will they unfortunately going to be repeated, only time will tell.
For having given their readers and myself this compendium of inspirational romance novellas that are fraught with the Christian tenets of love, faith and forgiveness, novellas which are sure to warm the cockles one’s heart, I’m happy to give the authors of the novellas, and the stories as well, 5 STAR.
Oh, I love this new series of books. From the first book in the series to the last, I was captured and taken to many places with many wonderful events. Yet the best part of this series is that it is about an Italian family, and I'm part Italian, this book had me wanting to research my heritage. I LOVED all the imagines and flavors of this book. It really brought Italy and all the family traditions to life. If you enjoy good clean stories and LOVE Italian life and flair, you'll love this book. In each of these books, there is a mystery and it connects all the books in a suspenseful way. These books each show us lessons God wants to teach us. I loved seeing how God can help heal old wounds and make wrongs, turn right. Forgiveness was a big part of these stories and an important lesson we all need to learn. I really appreciated how each author presented her characters with issues. Yet, only through the strength, mercy, forgiveness, and love of God could they find healing. Now that the series is over, I'm not sure what I'll do! I truly was blessed by this collection of stories and by the many different authors. I'll be watching for more from them! Wonderful series!
BUT WAIT . . . There's more! Innamorata by Autumn Macarthur When I heard Autumn Macarthur was going to write another book in this series regarding Isabella Rossi I knew it would be the icing on the cake, and it is! This story is so wonderful because it gives hope to those who are older. Love is still out there. I got a kick out of Isabella’s comment regarding love - “At my age, the most likely thing to sweep me off my feet is, la morte.” Which is the word in Italian for death. She really didn’t see how God could bless her again because she already has lived a full life. Yet, that’s exactly what God enjoys doing for His children. “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” Proverbs 19:21 (NIV) I was truly touched reading about Isabella and Giovanni’s back history. Their friendship was strong and yet life events took them apart. Could it still be strong after all these years? Pick up this book to put a sweet ending to all the stories in this collection of books! You won’t be disappointed!
I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed this entire series! These authors did a fantastic job of writing about one family....and this boxed set is amazing as it includes a 10th never before published story!
Isabella at 80+ finds out there is no age limit set on love.... absolutely lovely book about finding romance when you thought those days were ling passed you!
All of the writers did an excellent job of making the characters and the settings come alive. I have never traveled to Italy but feel like I know about different places because of the descriptions in the stories. Such wonderful characters all woven together beautifully throughout the books.
Innamorta by Autumn Macarthur is the most charming Christian romantic novella. It is the tenth book in A Tuscan Legacy series which I adore but it can be read as a stand-alone. No matter how old you are, you can still dream big. While you still have breath, God’s not finished with you yet. Outside you may look eighty whilst inside you feel eighteen. You are never too old to rekindle a love. Innamorta is a beautiful book that sets your senses on fire. Familiar characters and setting really come alive under the skilful pen of Autumn Macarthur. A lifetime of regrets and the burden of guilt weighs heavy. “It was time he surrendered that guilt to Papa Dio.” God longs to relieve us of our burdens that we were never meant to carry in the first place. We have just one life and God wants us to live it. Family is important. The wonderful family atmosphere extends from the novel and figuratively wraps its arms around the reader. I adore all Autumn Macarthur’s novels. They are warm feel-good reads that soothe my heart and soul. Innamorta was a wonderful and unique read with its main characters being octogenarians. I loved it. Grab your copy today. I received this book for free. A favourable review was not required and all views expressed are my own.
At the time of writing A Tuscan Legacy box set of ten books is jut 99p or 99c on Amazon kindle – so treat yourself today. You really do not want to miss this offer.
Innamorata by Autumn MacArthur was a lovely novella! Those who have read any of the books of the series will have already fallen in love with Isabella. When Gianni appears on his motorcycle, she is reminded of the past when he recklessly set out to conquer the world.
I enjoy seeing romance between older characters. The fact that Isabella and Gianni had loved each other as teenagers allowed this story to move quickly naturally. Gianni' had carried his guilt of events in his past for decades and it was so sweet that Isabella was able to help point him to God's grace.

Even if you have read the series The Tuscan Legacy Complete Collection is a bargain for 99 cents - JUST so you can read Book 10 Innamorata (Sweetheart) 80 year old grandma Isabella's Happily Ever After and Second Chance at LOVE. Written by seven talent international authors The Tuscan Legacy stories are an inspiring love saga, which spans three continents - America, Europe, and Australia. Diverse character with intriguing occupations, mysterious paintings, and cultural tidbits make for a page turning plot. Each story can be read as a stand alone. My favorite 2018 summer series, but well worth the wait for Isabella and Giovanni's story.
I just finished reading That's Amore by Marion Ueckermann. I LOVED Rafaele and Jayne's story!! Jayne and Rafaele had met two years ago, danced the night away, and then Rafaele never called her. Now, Jayne has a chance to go to Tuscany, and decides if it's God's will, she'd meet Rafaele again. She did, and the spark lit a fire. Then, Rafaele begins to think that he'll be like his father, and he couldn't stand that. When he finally realizes just how much he needs Jayne, and not just Jayne, but his Heavenly Father, too, he finally realizes that he can move foreward. Now, if it's just not too late and if Jayne will forgive him. Love how everything comes together!!
Oh, Luna Rosa by Elizabeth Maddrey was sooo good!! Louisiana has moved to DC to be the pianist for the symphony orchestra. There, she meets Nick, and while he thinks she's nothing but a Diva, their paths cross again, and they end up playing a duet at church. Once they both realize they got off on the wrong foot, that Louisiana really isn't the Diva Nick thought she was, and Nick is a very talented musician, not just a piano tuner as Louisiana thought, their friendship develops. Until Louisiana pushes Nick way out of his comfort zone. Will these two be able to get past their differences and see each has value being the people God created them to be? And that maybe, together, they can fulfil God's plan for them??
All of these book are soooo good!! In Rapsodia by Alexa Verde, we meet Samantha when she and Marco are flying from Florence to TX. Marco doesn't like flying, and Samantha feels sorry for him, so tries to help him keep his mind off the long flight. When he finds out where Samantha lives, he decides he has to open a pizzeria there. He then goes to help out when the manage is ill, and ends up spending a lot of time with Samantha. Marco learns he has to give up control, that he can't control everything anyway, and the only one who can is God. Samantha has to learn to forgive herself, and give her grief to God. She realizes that God is totally in control, too. Is it too late for these two, or will they figure things?? Love how everything turns out!!
In Ti Amo by Marion Ueckermann, we get Alessa and Michael's story. Michael came to Italy as a two-year missionary, to reach others for Christ. The first time he sees Alessa, he hears God tell him that Alessa is going to be his wife. At first, Alessa doesn't want anything to do with him, even though she's also jealous of Sienna's talking him. Sienna invites Michael to join them over the next few days, and the more time Alessa spends with him, the more she's drawn to him. When Alessa realizes just how much she likes Michael, she pushes away. Then she realizes that she may have just lost him to someone else. She also realizes that she needs to stop running from God, and asks for Sienna's help to know Jesus. When trouble comes for Alessa, Michael shows up, too, and Alessa learns that God is also always there for her.
In La Fiamma Sacra by Clare Revell, Ric lives in the apartment above Bracken and her son, DeForest. Ric enjoys spending time with them, though he thinks Bracken is married since she wears a wedding ring, and he's respecting that. When Ric finds out that Bracken is a widow, it changes things, except she still wears the ring, until she doesn't. Bracken helps Ric to see that no matter what he thinks he's done, she and God will always be by his side, and love him. When a near tragedy comes, will Bracken still want to marry??
In Bella Notte by Heather Gray, Piero meets Felicity. However, the first time he thinks they meet is NOT the first time they really met. Felicity doesn't want anything to do with Piero the Playboy, and doesn't hesitate to tell him so. She's not like the models he's usually seen with, nor the celebrities. From the moment he meets her, he changes and wants to be the best man for her that he can be. Now, if Felicity can just figure out that she can trust Piero and God, she just might find the happy ending she always wanted.
In Solo Tu by Narelle Atkins, we have Sienna and Dave's story. Sienna has her first teaching job in Australia. She's living with two of her cousins, and finds out that Dave lives near her and he teaches at the same school. The more time they spend together, the more they fall for each other. Sienna is heading back to Tuscany in September, and hasn't told Dave she has a one way ticket. Dave finds out that he's got a teaching job in away from Sydney for the next school year. Will these two be able to make things work, or will they give up on their love?? Love how things work out, and how they continue to rely on God to get them through.
In Dolce Vita by Autumn Macarthur, we have Rachel and Jonathan's story. They've known each other for years, and live in the same house, on separate floors, and work at the same school in separate departments. Jon has loved her as long as he's known her, and Rachel was drawn to him, but told herself he didn't see her as anything more than a friend. The truth is, Rachel wasn't ready to be loved by Jon, though she did need his friendship. Now, she needs his help to see that she's worthy of love on her own, and that God loves her just as she is. When she finally accepts that she deserves to be happy, things change for the better Love how she does try to follow God, and especially that she's open even when she feels her prayers go no higher than the ceiling.
In La Risposta, we meet Albertino and Teresa, and mystery of the paintings is solved. Albertino realizes that he loves Teresa, and he'd like for things to work out for them. Teresa finds out just what Albertino thought of her when they married, and why things were as they were in their marriage. Now, she's ready for things to be over, as she's letting go of hope that things can be better. When they both start praying that will God show them what He wants from each of them, and when they finally open their hearts up with and for forgiveness, they realize that what they both want is really the same thing, and they can find happiness together. Forgiveness from each for each, and for themselves, opens them up for the blessings God has wanted to give them all along.
In Innamorata by Autumn Macarthur, Isabella and Giovanni. Isabella and Giovanni have known each other for years. They grew up together as children, along with Isabella's deceased husband. Now, Giovanni is back in Italy for the first time since he left, when Isabella turned down his proposal of marriage and married his best friend. Now in their 80s, they're both widowed, and the old feelings they had for each other are still there. They grab their second chance with both hands, and both are thankful that they listened to God, and that He gave them this second chance.
I haven't read the entire collection yet and will add reviews as I finish different stories. I read the first book and then jumped ahead and read Rachel's story to the end of the collection. I've enjoyed the different stories so far.
That's Amore - What a fun start to a series. It definitely has me intrigued. The scenery is amazing. Rafaele and Jayne have a very interesting beginning and second chance at love. I know with God all things are possible and He directs our paths, but things seemed a little too easy most of the time for this couple. I liked them, but definitely felt this was more a fairy tale.
Dolce Vita - I loved how real these characters were. Rachel was hurting and had been her entire life. She needs to forgive herself and those around her. Jon is such a great guy, but he is also realistic that he can only wait so long. They are so sweet together. I love friend to more stories. The gospel talk was maybe a little too much for me, but at the same time it was beautiful seeing their faith and trust in God. Forgiveness is not easy, but it is so freeing. I loved the Welsh translation/definition for forgiveness.
La Risposta - Wow, what a twist! I don't want to give anything away, but this was another beautiful story about forgiveness and the importance of communication. Along with Teresa and Pepe's story we have the wedding of Rafaele and Jayne, which was beautiful and so sweet. I haven't read the whole series, yet, but have enjoyed what I have read and this book did a great job bringing it all together.
Innamorata - A sweet end to the series. I love that Isabella and Giovanni get a second chance at love. They are so sweet together and deserve to be loved and cherished.
Finishing these books felt like I was saying goodbye to a family who had become like my own. I felt a measure of grief that I could no longer follow their journey's and connect with the characters. The way this series tied together was so clever. I especially loved the last 3 books. I love that having different authors involved meant each character had a distinct voice, although at times this also made my picture of a character change as the way they were presented by one author felt different to the way another author presented them. I did love that each author brought different skills and knowledge so that each character could be so real, showing the authors clearly knew their subject (eg. art, music, missions.) I have never travelled overseas, but this book carried me to another beautiful country and made me feel as though I had. The covers of the books are beautiful and I feel as though I have learned and experienced other cultures and languages through these heartwarming stories. Thank you to all the authors for your part in this amazing series! Well worth buying.
Book 9 La Risposta (The Answer) by Autumn Macarthur I really enjoyed this book even though this is the only one in the series I have read - so far. It was so good I want to read some of the others. A story of forgiveness and extending grace to others. 34 years is a long time to be resentful and it is a long time to stay with someone who doesn't love you. I wanted to scream WHY don't you just talk ??????!!!!! Teresa and Beppe are a couple that proves that anything is possible and that it is never too late.
BONUS NEW NOVELLA! Book 10 Innamorata (Sweetheart) by Autumn Macarthur Love has no age limit especially for a second chance at first love. These two show so much wisdom and grace in extending forgiveness. Love how they communicated this time.
An amazing series by some amazing authors. This is a wonderful series full of faith, family, forgiveness and much love. Stories of a family rich in history set around the world but with deep roots in their Tuscany heritage. Share is all their stories as they grow in their faith discoveries each of their paths and all those who come along joining them on their journey as they find their way. Share in their discoveries and adventures of self discovery. See wonderful places and experience new things through each characters eyes come to Italy, Australia, England and Wales to name of few of the exciting things you will experience in this amazing series. You won't be disappointed.
A very satisfying read.... Thank you for this adventure
Almost a world wind to remember all of each book! Most enjoyable is the honesty of passion and emotion shared within the characters by each author, yet placing God first and honoring His plan to wait unti marriage to fully discover His plan forintimacy. Each author has their separate styles of writing, and it’s true, they interweave and continue the last journey into the next. A great writing team for sure. Many blessings to the authors and each reader.
I received this book from the publisher. All thoughts and comments are my own.
My first peek into this family was through the bonus novella, Innamorata. This is the first time I've ever read a love story who's main characters are seniors. It was a sweet journey to watch this couple address their old feelings from over 50 years ago and what that could look like in this new season of lives they have found themselves in.
I have read all nine books and the bonus novella too. Innamorata is great to read as I love to hear of romance between couples who are more mature. I didn't read the stories in their correct order the first time but I would recommend you do. It will help to sort out all the characters mentioned in the novella and reading the ninth before all the others would spoil the suspense which is so integral to the overarcing story.
I don’t normally write reviews but think this book deserves one as it has many twists and unexpected turns especially towards the end. It is good to be reminded God is there all the time though which these books demonstrate with lots of different peoples with different characters and imperfections. Some of it was set in the UK so that was nice as a Brit but now I think I want to see Tuscany! Great read.
These entertaining books are all heartwarming and sweet. Each book encompasses the tale of an individual romance but they are linked by the family ties and history as well as a mystery that runs as an underlying plot throughout the whole set. Therefore, I recommend that these books be read as a complete set in consecutive order. This boxed set is sure to spark the reader's interest in Tuscany if it doesn't already exist.
A beautifully written collection showcasing Gidd love, forgiveness, redemption. I could not stop reading until I had finished and the last book brings everything full circle. So many emotions, so much beautiful scenery it was truly like watching a movie that you didn't want to end. Each story distinct yet intertwined.
A box set full of love, friendship, family and forgiviness. You will fall in love all over again following the mystery around the Rossi’s family and how the nine grandchildren found love and hapinness. Even Isabella Rossi, the grandmother, will have her second chance.
This is an impressive collection of the legacy of a Tuscan family. I loved each story, the interesting cast of characters and the chance to be an armchair tourist . I highly recommend this collection. You will have many hours of entertainment.
Romance, travel, family and faith brings this family together in full circle.
I have always wanted to travel to Tuscany. These writers took me there and other destinations I so want to visit. Thank you for my brief visit in this lovely country through your words and imagination.
Loved every book could not out it down and did not want it to end. I love every one of these authors and can't wait to read more and I like that they like sharing their love of God in their books
I loved reading these stories and learning about this family. The mystery of the paintings was a lot of fun! A lot of forgiveness and new love ran through these stories and especially the love of our Father in heaven. Very well done!
I am glad I read these books. The family life and their love of God is a treasure. Their love of God did not give them a problem free or easy life. But with God's forgiveness, mercy and grace which is shared in these books in an awesome believable way. Must read!!!
These stories are delightful. The thread of mystery was skillfully woven into each book leaving the solution hidden to just the right moment, revealed in an unexpected way. A good Christian message without sermons. Lovely, enjoyable read!
I loved every book in this series. God is good . The struggles felt like mine even though they weren't. I loved that these books were filled with trusting in God above all else
I really enjoyed this series. I thought the series was well done and it was very descriptive of Tuscany and other places. The characters were delightful and sometimes frustrating (aka real). I appreciated the look at forgiveness from different perspectives and other challenges that needed to be worked through without making them trite. I would absolutely recommend this series!
Some of these books were excellent, some slow and boring. The one by Alexa Verde had so many typos and editing problems, it was annoying to read. Please get rid of the ridiculous errors that could be caught just using a grammar checker!
I have never met a book by Autumn MacArthur that I didn’t like. And I also liked all of the rest of “A Tuscan Legacy” books. Read them from first to last. Now to go to some of your other books!9
This wonderful story was a real joy to read and identify with. It's amazing that so many authors worked so well together. Loved it, will miss this wonderful family.
