미완의 계절 Broken Season
The most traumatic event in Haero’s life was coming out to his best friend, Don. Growing up, they were like brothers. Closer than brothers. As they aged, they drifted apart, hiding each other’s mixed feelings. Back together again in college, can Haero come to terms with his true feelings? And will Don accept him? Or, will there be broken hearts in that ever-interrupted season of changes.

Wouldn’t have finished if I didn’t already own the whole thing from a sale at some point. Very melodramatic and bad pacing takes away from what could’ve hit harder; the majority of the story is the season 1 “prologue” of them dating in college and the season 2 “main story” is rushed.
Example of the melodrama: in like the span of 2 days the character’s old crush shows upon the middle of the night domestic abused asking for help, the LI’s bully died and he gets beat up at his bully’s funeral, the MC’s mom gets cancer, and the LI moves and hides? Like all at once ??! That’s how the “break up” happens at 65% that is supposed to kick off the real plot.
And with the 10 year time jump we don’t see any of their growing or grieving or healing process, which didn’t work for me with how much time was focused on high school and college.

Fue una historia verdaderamente maravillosa y sobre todo real.
El personaje de Haero que para muchos está mal, yo lo sentí el más real de todos, puedo lograr conectarme con él debido a que representa el ser humano con todas las inseguridades que nos cargamos. En cuanto a Don... su encanto y pensamiento me rompieron el corazón (de la mejor manera).
La historia en sí no es el típico BL, "Temporada indefinida" (como yo lo conocí en español) nos muestra en pocos capítulos como es la vida de dos jóvenes que se amaban, pero que se ven envueltos bajo el famoso dicho "eres la persona correcta en el momento equivocado". La evolución de los personajes en la segunda temporada es la cereza del pastel, pues con la madurez que ya ambos se cargan ellos ahora sí pudieron luchar y pelear por el amor que sentían el uno por el otro. El final fue el más impactante, nunca he visto que un BL termine de esa manera, de hecho las autoras siempre quieren que sus personajes terminen completamente felices "solos", aquí es diferente, la existencia de Joon es como el detalle que nos permite decir "wooo".
Los gráficos fueron los que más amé, a pesar de que en algunas escenas se notó alguna que otra carencia en los recursos, el trazo y las paletas de colores que se usaron fueron las indicadas para este género. Los diálogos también fueron muy buenos, no por nada lloré con alguna que otra escena.
Escuché que podría haber una historia paralela y si fuera así me gustaría leerla con mucho placer.

No one can understand the sheer panic I felt the three times there was a self-harm/ suicide warning at the beginning of those three chapters!

This story was quite heartbreaking, and at times I really wanted to yell at the characters, but it was also really good!

La ilustración es preciosa. La trama tiene momentos que no le gustó y la dejé por meses, pero el final estuvo bastante bien.

This was so intense and heartbreaking, it made me to cry a lot 😭
Reading the story I kept thinking please let it have a good ending, please have a happy ending 🙏🙏🙏
They had so many obstacles to overcome and at one moment I thought this is it, I have to prepare myself for a sad one 😭
Finally the ending came. It was not the typical happy ending but it felt wright after everything they have been through.

Geez 2nd time reading it. Loved it but dang I hate that Haero leaves Don, he keeps running away. If I were Don I would have beat him… Lol jk but it was too much. I hate that so many years pass and that it hurts Nami although it was her choice and she knew Don loved Haero and not her. Still loved the ending and I love that Nami got her happy ending!l as well!
