Having spent four years of my life living in Bermuda in the mid 1970s, it was time to read this book written over 50 years before. I had gifted it to my parents when they had a vacation there to celebrate their retirement. I received it back on their passing.
The book as a historic instrument is fascinating. Not many island countries can trace their beginnings to an actual shipwreck event. Mrs Terry Tucker wrote this book as a new immigrant to this island she loved. Bermudians should be very thankful for the efforts she took to document their history in such a prideful way.
A worthy read. It just took me 50 years to get around to it.
