Tony Ortiz shows real promise as an author but is in desperate need of a professional editor. There are prolific errors on nearly every page of FRACTAL that detract from a positive reading experience. Conversations are not designated with quotation marks, punctuation is sporadic, and words are often misused and misspelled. In short, the author published what should have been considered a rough draft rather than a final submission. It is my hope that he will take this constructive criticism to heart and properly finish what he started. The story is clever and would result in a fun read once competent editing is finalized.

This is a DNF. I quit before Chapter Three because of the writing style. I could tell what was speech and what was description, but... not easily. Dialogue tags ("") would have made it so much more readable. Plotwise I have nothing at all to say; I didn't get far enough.

Had Potential

Good story but horrible editing, if it was edited at all. Words like bear and bare mixed up, some words used entirely wrong, no punctuation, all combined to make this hard to wade through. Good concept if polished and cleaned up.

A fun read

I enjoyed the read. Not quite what I was looking for in a time travel story though! Still a good read!
