~ 4.5 Tall, Dark and Panther Stars ~
Tall, Dark and Panther is book five in the Paranormal Dating Agency by Milly Taiden. I like picking up a little smut every now and then and Ms. Taiden is the Smut Queen.
I loved it! Ms. Taiden has a way of writing powerful confident curvy women, smoking hawt sex scenes, and some fun characters. Noah is one hot panther shifter. I adored him! Maya is a funny and sassy women. I loved her confidence. I enjoy the possessiveness that the shifters in this series have of their mates. I also love Gerri Wilder who gets write down to the nit and grit of finding the perfect match. The story flows and you feel the attraction between the characters.
There is one spot that made me knock my rating down a half a point. I just had a small issue with a comment Noah makes during a very hot scene. The comment was about getting Maya Pregnant (you will know the spot, when you read it). Now sometimes I have issues with this and others not so much.
I adore this series and love reading a little smut especially after a harder read. If you are looking for something fun, naughty and with some humor, then you need to pick up Milly Taiden.

Tall, Dark, and Panther is Milly's 5th book in her Paranormal Dating Agency series. I've enjoyed them all but this one is definitely my new favorite. Heroine Maya Zara is sick of dating losers so when she runs into the matchmakers she takes a chance and finally gets to meet Noah Wright, the neighbor she has been lusting after. Noah is instantly smitten but with a stalker ex-boyfriend and meddling family, their romance has a couple of roadblocks.
I liked Maya, liked that she put up with her family because she loved them but she didn't take their barbs seriously. My only complaint about the book is I wish there would have been more resolution with her family but overall I enjoyed the story. Highly recommend!!!

Paranormal Dating Agency is a great series....this time around we have Noah Wright, the godson of agency owner Gerri Wilder. Gerri knows her godson needs to find a mate, but he doesn't want to date anyone. He's had his cat's eye on his curvy sexy neighbor Maya Zara. Maya has also been watching the handsome shifter from afar. Maya is tired of dating the wrong guys. None of them appreciate her curvy body.....but Noah thinks Maya's curves are the cats meow!!
When Gerri matches Noah & Maya for a date, we all know what happens.....the sparks fly and the angel's sing! As always Milly Taiden gives us plenty of hot steamy love scenes with this new couple....and the all important happy ending!!

I don’t know why I keep reading this series......I guess because the sex is smoking hot and I see potential? But unfortunately I found this one to be lacking, but because of one major thing. Insta-love to an extreme. The hero sees the heroine, and that’s his "mate". That’s it, it’s a done deal. Without knowing a thing about her or vice versa, she didn’t even know his name and yet it was the person they would spend their entire life with. Um no. I just wanted more. The relationship never had a chance to progress. The hero never seemed to have to put forth effort in gaining her affections. This book was short, and consisted of nothing but hot sex. No character development, no plot depth. Just hot sex, insta-love, and talk of the heroines weight. I'm fine with BBW heroines, but in this read, the story lacked a lot of detail with the exception of her weight. It was continually brought up not only by the heroine herself, but her ex- boyfriends opinion on it, her mom, her sister, the hero...............there just seemed to be too much emphasis on her weight in general. I also prefer my BBW heroines to have something this one lacked..............confidence. She just seemed insecure and weak to me personally. I think I can officially say I'm done with this series now. If you are looking for a short, but hot read, without any sense of a storyline or realistic personalities, this one will work for you though.

I love how confident Maya is. She's also very funny and sassy. And Noah.. I adore him! So sinfully sexy and sweet. I love how possessive off the bat he is with Maya. They make one steamy couple!

This was a great quick, cute read. I love this series because the author always infuses humor with the minimal drama. The book is very light, even with the little drama with Bud. My favorite part was when Noah unveiled the video game he designed for handicap children.

Woohoo, another hot sexy shifter story!! I loved that this one was not your typical animal shifter and the characters had different reasons for using the agency. Noah is a complicated shifter that knows who his mate is but she is unavailable. Maya just has bad luck with men and they all seem to want to use her. Her family life isn't all that healthy either but once she decides to take hold of her love life things start to change. This series is SOOOOOOO Addictive!

While I love the PDA concept, the love stories, and HEA, this book didn't quite make the grade. I loved the H/h, but we didn't learn much about Noah until near the end of the book. I didn't feel the bond between the H/h the way I did in the earlier books.

Good story about to that are attracted to each other from afar. A human woman and a panther shifter. Of course Gerri, the matchmaker, who apparently has a perfect record for set ups, sets these two up and POW! sexy good times for all. I am really enjoying this series.

This was a very good story. I liked both Maya and Noah a lot and was happy to see them get together.
Maya is a nice woman and a BBW. She's happy with her curves but her mother and sister constantly think they know what she feels (the exact opposite of what she actually feels) and put her down over her weight and their (baseless) ideas that she can't hold on to a man. Admittedly, Maya hasn't had much luck with men but if she can't hold on to them it's because she dumps the guys when it becomes clear that he's a loser that thinks she should kiss his feet to be with him just because she has curves.
Noah is a panther shifter and a game designer. He was abandoned as a child and was raised by Gerri (the lady that runs the dating agency). She tried to take care of him but he tended to be guarded emotionally because of his abandonment as a child. Now he's kind of a loaner and hasn't done long term relationships before.
Noah and Maya live in the same building and have seen each other. Noah knew right away that Maya was his mate but since she had a boyfriend he didn't approach her (he doesn't poach). Maya felt the attraction in return and has been fantasizing about Noah. Bud, Maya's ex, was another of the "convince her she's lucky to have me because she's a BBW" type guys and so she dumped him. Since then he has been trying to get her back, bugging her with calls, texts, messages and just creepily hanging around outside her apartment building. Maya tries to ignore him and goes on with her life and happens to meet Gerri in the elevator of her apartment building. They start chatting and Gerri convinces her to give shifters a try through her agency. Maya agrees and find herself set up on a date with Noah.
Maya and Noah's mutual attraction comes to the forefront very quickly once Noah realizes that Maya isn't attached anymore and Maya accepts that Noah wants her. They end up having a hell of a night and Noah convinces Maya to give him a chance with her. He tells her pretty quickly that she's his mate and that reassures her, making her more accepting of his interest and desire. They start getting to know each other and find that they have a lot in common and fit very well together. There are still issues with Maya's ex, Bud and it doesn't help that Maya's mother and sister both think that Bud is the best Maya's going to get so she'd better take him back! (where is my sarcasm font!!!) TBH, I thought that was bad but Maya's family gets even worse later. I was very pleased with how Maya handled them in the end. Despite the issues, Maya and Noah's connection makes things move quick and it doesn't take long until Maya accepts being Noah's mate and they start their HEA together.
This was a really enjoyable story. I really liked both Maya and Noah and can't think of any complaints about either of them. The story is shorter than some of the others in this series but it worked alright for me, maybe because the plot was pretty straight forward. Overall, this was a really good (and sexy) story and I'd recommend it. :D

Ms. Taiden has out done herself yet again! I love all her books and maybe this one even more. She combined a unique in depth feeling with these characters to take this book to the next level. Plus, adding her hot and spicy sex that only the smut queen is known for. Everyone reads books differently but to me this is the best of the series.

What can one say about Milly’s talent...how bout amazing! She hasn’t wrote a book I didn’t love. This one... I felt more than others for some reason, maybe because I identified with Maya, who knows but what a excellent story I loved it.
Maya pretty much knows what she wants and she isn’t willing to accept less than, no matter what others may think. Maya sassy and full of curves with a bad track record with men. To top off her less than desirable choices in the male species.. She doesn’t have the luxury to pick her family. Maya’s mother and sister thinks its all about her weight that is contributing to her luck or the lack of luck in the male department.
Oh and the sexy Nathan such a quiet spirit he is. He has watched Maya since she has moved in longing for her in a distance. His panther knows she is his, but how does the man get that across to her.
I love simply love Gerrie want to put her up on my mantle and stuffs, just the sweetest “fairy god mother”
Tall Dark and Panther is just about the perfect length to read, the story line the sexy parts all mesh well with just enough detail to be hot and interesting but not way down the story. In the normal world where thin is in, we love that Milly writes with ladies with an abundance of curves and a payload of sass. Its all about being you and only accepting whats best for you, not whats second best. I recommend this awesome story. Enjoy

Maya is sick and tired of guys that want her to change who she is or thinks that she is the safe bet since she is Curvy they figure no other man will want her. Then she meets Gerri and she sets her up on a date. She is pleasantly shocked to find out that it's Noah. But her ex and his stalking almost puts a damper on her newfound happiness.
Another GREAT book in a great series by Milly Taiden! I couldn't wait to read this book and I wasn't disappointed. The Smut Queen has once again given us a steamy book with a very yummy shifter. Love this series plus a Milly fan. Loved this story. I really liked Maya a lot. She was funny as hell. Quirky and beautiful. Noah has been a creepy watcher of Maya since he purchased the building. He's rich and a loaner and keeps to himself and has had a thing for her but never talks to her much. He can see everything she does in her apartment through her blinds. Ok...that was the creep factor for me lol. Thats ok though cause he's in love with her and somehow thinks she's taken. He's hotter than hell and talks so dirty to her at this ball that Ms. Wilder throws. LOL. Naughty! They both reluctantly agree to do this one date that Ms. Wilder sets up. Neither knowing its the other. Noah couldn't be happier. Maya is unsure but goes with it but then freaks a little because she has a problem with accepting he'd want someone like her and her crazy weird ex keeps hounding her. Needless to say after much coaxing she realizes she loves Noah. Great story and can't wait to see who Ms. Wilder hires to help her out with her work load! Yay!

Overall: I really loved this book and the idea of an older shifter woman starting her own dating service and helping shifters and human alike to find their soulmates. There was just something magical about the story. My only con is that I wish the book was longer and focused a little less on sex. I think that if the author would've added an extra 50 to 100 pages, as readers we could have gotten to know the couple better. I also really love that the author celebrates larger woman and embraces their curves instead of wanting to hide them. One of my favorite parts of the story was in the beginning when Noah would watch Maya from her window, while she would dance around in her underwear and sing off key. I also loved that Noah knew what he wanted and once he found out that Maya was free he didn't stop pursuing her until she was his.

This book is a must read!!!!! I am loving this book 500% I can relate to Maya most of all because she has spirit and drive. I have never read about any one hold their head to high when someone is tearing them down and I love her for that. I have never wanted to punch someone in the throat so bad but I will make and exception for linda. Can we say bitch. Remember no matter what anyone says you can pick your family. I fell head over heels in love with Noah. He new exactly who his mate was but he was raised a gentleman and repected that Maya was not on the market. An amazing read!
This is another great book in this absolutely amazing series.
Maya has found every jerk in the city when all she wants is to be loved for who she is. She knows she shouldn't have to settle for what she can get just because she is a curvy girl. Noah and his panther fell for her as soon as he saw her and thinks she has a boyfriend. But enter his godmother Gerri Wilder and she knows just how to fix it. It is great watching this cute couple trying to get their chance at an unconditional love and spending the rest of their life together. It's too bad there is not a real paranormal dating agency because I would be banging down the door to find that kind of special love and don't forget the hot sexy shifters. This is a definite must read.

Gerri is at it again!!

Maya has terrible luck with men, they are all jerks who think that she should consider herself lucky to deal with however they treat her since she's a big girl. Noah is a panther shifter who has a slight obsession with the curvy Maya but thinks she is still with her boyfriend, so has never approached her. Gerri is Noah's adopted mother of sorts and finally agrees to let her match him up. Maya and Noah are set up on a date and sparks fly after finally meeting each other face to face instead of admiring from afar. I love this series so much, Gerri continues to crack me up and I can't wait to see who her next victim...I mean client is.

Maya is sick of dating the wrong men, all she wants is a man to love her and her curves. She meets Gerri the matchmaker for shifters and decides to let Gerri fix her up. When she meets the shifter Gerri introduces her to she realizes that he is Noah her sexy neighbor that she has been dreaming of for months. If you want a short very hot and funny book then you need to read this book and the rest of the books in this series.

This Panther finally gets his woman.
I could really relate to Maya with her doubts and crappy men that had been in her life. Gerri knows just what to do to help Noah. This book was like how did she get in my head and write the words I felt. Milly has the ability to show curvy women to stand proud do not hide them. This book was on fire the passion and the raw sex appeal is off the hook. Noah and his Panther self has wanted Maya for sometime but he thinks she is still in a relationship but she has broken it off although Bud doesn't seem to get the hint. I recommend this book to all my friends that are over 18.

Loved this book. Her writing is one of my favorites and I always love new releases but hate them because they aren't longer. But then I balance it out in my head knowing I get even more from her because they are shorts and she is able to put more out quicker than regular length novels.
The chemistry was great and the "alphaness" if you will is the perfect amount from the lead. I didn't care for the family so when she stood up to them I cheered while I was at the gym and made a good little fool out of myself lol.

Noah is a panther shifter who is hot for his curvy neigbor Maya watching her from afar but knowing she belongs to him... Maya is a curvy woman who is comfortable with her body but it is everyone else who seems to think she needs to change in order to be happy and find a man.. Once these two meet it is an instant connection and heat between them, but nothing is that easy with a stalker ex & a very unsupportive family Maya needs to decide what she wants and know that she deserves it... I was giving an early copy for an honest review...

Gerri (Milly) has done it yet again.
Milly has got talent in writing shifter stories. Even though they are short the story line and passion in each PDA book is amazing. The girls are real women not the sticks you see on the covers. They have curves and are sassy. While I wish there was more suspense like Bud could have kidnapped Maya to make it interesting. And I do wish there was more interaction with the past characters. So Milly if you do read your reviews think of those ideas.
