Doctor John Kappler was a respected anesthesiologist with a dark secret: he wanted to kill his patients. He administered anesthesia incorrectly a number of times, took someone off life support without consent, and also used other methods that resulted in serious injury. He retired due to disability, at which time he drove his car on a walkway, striking some pedestrians. One of those, also a doctor, later died from his injuries. The author of this book was a personal friend of the doctor that was ran down, thought he is a forensic psychiatrist in his own right and has consulted on many court cases and television programs. I did not particularly enjoy this book.
