Henri Cartier-Bresson was a French photographer considered to be the father of modern photojournalism, an early adopter of 35 mm format, and the master of candid photography. He helped develop the "street photography" or "real life reportage" style that has influenced generations of photographers that followed.

What is there left to say about HCB?

I have always found his work to be a good way to study things like composition, framing, use of angles and patience. Waiting for that frame to fill up before hitting the button.

Now as we move to digital, does one need to be so patient though? With demand for content, and more content and more content, is capturing one decisive moment enough?

Absolut lesenswert.
