Bali, the langur, decides to move back into the Wild World after getting fed up of chasing monkeys in the city. Bhola, the bear, escapes to the jungle from the brutalities of his human owner to lead a happy and satiated life. On the night of Bali’s welcome party, Bali saves Raja, the tiger, from the bullets of a poacher. The other animals are impressed and request him to go back to the city and help Rani, the tigress, to escape from the City Zoo. Wild World is a whacky and hilarious tale of a runaway langur and an ever hungry bear who join paws to save the jungle from becoming a human colony.
I saw "Wild World: The Adventures of Bali and Bhola" by Deepak Arora book's praise post by Preeti Shenoy. I was attracted to cover so much that I simple inquired my friend in publishing house about the book availability. That book was provided to Preeti Shenoy as ARC or maybe for her feedback. So I had to wait for the book to get released. Though the book released after two months of my inquiry and It took another month for me to get the book, the wait for the book was justified.
It is a story of a sanctuary called "Wild World National Park". Though the park was known for its tiger reserve. Only one tiger was left in the jungle. The protagonist of our story was Bali, a langur, who had recently returned from the city. As a child, Bali had a dream of living in a city where he would be working with Men to chase out Monkeys. So he voluntarily got trapped in poacher's plan. He was taken to the city and there he was sold to a drunkard who went to one society to another where Monkey's were harassing people. It was then Bali came to know the reality of his dream. For his owner, he was just a Monkey with a black face who chased out Monkey with red/white faces. He ran from his owner and came back to his actual home Jungle. On return langur clan, started treating him as a star. He was given importance. On top of that, he saved the life of Tiger - King of Jungle. This made him an important figure among other animals as well. Read the book to know more.
Indian literature needs good books for middle graders. When I see books available in USA / UK for kids in the age of 7-12 they have so many options. Where in India kids were given limited options and due to that they move towards other options like gaming, mobile/tablet. If we can provide proper books to kids they can cultivate the habit of reading. A book like "Wild World" can actually make it happen. The book is written with such a wonderful concept and a thought process that I don't mind gifting it to friends' kids on their birthdays. Don't worry Deepak this copy will stay with me, as my kid has asked us to keep all kids books safe till he starts reading. :)
Good points about the book 1) Awesome cover art. I don't think a child or parent can reject such a cute looking cover. 2) Not just cover, a wonderful artwork given in each chapter about the important scene of that chapter. I think this is necessary for the targeted audience. It will increase kids' interest potion. 3) Nicely merged concepts of nature's reserve, animal care, environmental care. 4) Smooth and easy language usage. 5) The fluid pace of the story. No hurdles for kids to go one page to another. 6) Proper characterization and funny naming which will bring a smile to a kids face
I would advise you to get 2-3 copies of this book for gifting purpose. Nothing could be a better gift than a book to kids especially. :)
This follows Bali, a langur who returned from his urban life back to Wild World National Park. Here he gets reacquainted with all the other wild animals and learns how the tiger population has recently deteriorated and how Raja, the only remaining tiger was sulking over Rani, his tigress.
And when a few other animals come to Bali asking for this help rescue Rani from another zoo he wanted to disagree because to make up this mission a success he has to travel to the city which he was not keen on doing. But Bali is a kind-hearted langur and agrees to go and asks Bhola to assists him in this journey. Bhola was a hilariously sweet bear, reluctant to do anything apart from treating his taste buds with all sorts of foods finally accede to collaboration.
Will they be successful in bringing Rani? How can they do that when the city is not their domain and people can be downright cruel?
Their journey is full of hilarious encounters and with some amazing life-changing moments that will make you realize that an unusual alliance can lead to an extraordinary bond of friendship full of happy occasions and good times and never let fear make choices for you.
Wild World is a fast-paced children fiction book that is well-written and has many morals to learn. So many things such as how it is important to maintain the balance of the ecosystem. Abusing the nature people don’t realize it's going come back to them twice more disastrous and due to human interference such as poaching, many species have become extinct and many other things like these have been relied upon through the story. I really liked how the author consolidates the idea of overcoming fear and never let yourself be a victim of brutality and abuse.
I think everyone will enjoy this book because there is honestly nothing there to not like, we have an amazing plot with a remarkably likable cast of characters who can make you laugh out loud with humorous comments. This has been one best read of 2019 and I cannot wait to read more books from this author. Although I purchased the kindle version of this book I will order myself a paperback because it was that good.

Wild world by Deepak Arora is a book that will remind a reader about their childhood readings and cartoons we used to watch. But there's also a message. This book reminds us about our cruel behaviour towards animals.
If you are looking for something Fun,Short and impactful then you should go for it.
It takes a lot of talent to write for children. The writing must be kept simple, but it can still be beautiful. Best of all, these stories must be exciting and very imaginative, something I also love in books for adults. The best children's stories, however, can be enjoyed by people of all ages - and Wild World is definitely one such story.
What a wonderful little book. I really wish I could have had this one when I was a kid. Nevertheless, it was still great fun reading it now.
Very interesting. One of the great children's books and rightly so! I could have finished this in a day or two but I kept forcing myself to put it down in order to enjoy it longer. That should tell you something!
🌟 I'll start with the title first. It was the first thing that caught my attention.
🌟 it's a fiction novel depicting the story of jungle life and how human race is exploiting the jungle and which is very much affecting the animals living there.
🌟 The story starts where Bali, a langur, return from the city to his home and is surprised by the party thrown for him.
Soon he discovers every element of this jungle and came to know about Rani and the threat hovering over the tiger and other animals. He meets Bhola, the bear, and goes on an adventure of bringing Rani back to the jungle.
Bali and Bhola both had some horrible memories from the city and now going back there feels like a nightmare coming true.
Still naive about the current situation and about threat hovering over the jungle, will Bali and Bhola be able to save the jungle?
🌟 I must say that the narration was damn good and I grew up watching Tarzan and jungle book and this book brought back all the memories of childhood. It felt so nostalgic.
🌟 Character development was great and the story was fast paced and the thing that made me like the book more was the rhyming of names like Bali and Kali, Raka and Kala, Mali and Laali. It was interesting.
🌟 Story was medium paced and I read something new and really enjoyed it. Language is simple and a beginner can also go for this book.
🌟I really liked Bhola's character and the way he's described and his love for food. I could relate to it.
🌟 I finished reading this book In 2 days and each chapter was intriguing.
🌟 Writing style was amazing and the story was very much creative and it felt like I was not just reading but I'm living there.
Have you ever felt like you're reading something and your whole childhood is coming back to you? Like you forget all of your problems and feel like a small child that still has so much to learn, so much to explore? Like you are not in your house or some other dull place, but in the jungle, feeling the hard ground under your feet, and smelling the different kinds of plants in the air? Have you ever read something that made you feel free?
Well, that was what I felt when I read Wild World by Deepak Arora. I had loved the jungle world, despite its dangers and secrets. I just wanted to run with the wolves, learn the language of every species from Bali and climb on Bhola's back. I wanted an adventure. But adventures come through books as well, and a reader lives a thousand lives. And I truly lived this adventure while reading this woderful book.
It was cute, and amazing, and wild, but at the same time, the exquisite vocabulary can not be ignored. It was childish but also had lots of metaphors for matters of our society. It was truly lovable.
Bali, the langur, after being sick of the city life he was living in gets back to the wildlife to find it getting destroyed by poachers. Bhola, the bear who has escaped from his human masters to live the life he wanted in the jungle. Together they fight to keep the wildlife alive for them. Will they succeed or fate has other plans for them? Who will survive and who will die to fight for its kind?
This book brought back the memories of me watching 'The Jungle Book' where animals could talk and do what's right for their kind. This book had illustrations in between which made the read interesting and also the writing was so accurate for children to love. Few places were stretched but still, I loved to go back in times of my childhood.
Must read for children to know what it means to save their own kind.
Wild World. ~ Thank you for sending over the review copy @srishtipub. ~ Animals forming a defence club to stop humans from taking their home is a unique plot indeed. This book has illustrations in it which entices kids and grasps their attention. This story is of Bali and Bhola, a langur and a bear who make it their mission to save their friends. ~ The plot starts while focusing on Bali who returns to the jungle from his terrible city life where he served as a human's slave. He finds the state of jungle in complete sadness when he realises that their Queen Tigress has been kidnapped by humans. All the animals entrust the responsibility of retrieving the Queen back to the jungle in the hands of Bali. When Bali is left hopeless, he stumbles into Bhola, the bear. ~ Bhola's mission is only one thing. To eat delicious food every day for the rest of his life. Bali lures in Bhola to go with him to the city to rescue the Queen. Meanwhile, the King is surrounded by poachers who are intent on capturing him. What follows next is the adventure of the langur and the bear as they head out to save their jungle. The storyline is quite simple and well written. The author has used simple language so that a person of any age can enjoy the read. ~ Although the concept was unique, it did get predictable as I read along. It's highly imaginative and might not impress everyone. However, this is a perfect read for beginners as well as for children of every age. ~ I would rate this book 2.8 / 5. #wildworld
The author's purpose for writing this book is to entertain the reader. He does this by all the action-pact scenes and suspenseful moments. This makes the book very interesting and entertaining to read.
The adventure is amazing and the story is a beloved well told tale. I really liked the story, because it was very action filled and exciting. All in all this book is very unique and unlike anything I have ever read, and I would definitely recommend it to someone who likes to read children books!
The theme the author was trying to get across in this book is that people and animals can coexist in harmony. To read the book the way the author intended it to be read is a delight for all ages.
Reading Children's tale is always fun. It takes me to my childhood memories and Wild World is one such book, where I re-lived my childhood days. The author has managed to add all the flavors into the story which makes it playful and equally engaging.
The Author, Deepak Arora and illustrator Ishan Trivedi will take readers on a magical journey through Bali and Bhola's adventures in the Wild World jungle and in the city with their story and the illustrations. Which makes the readers worth reading. Children of all ages, including adults will find this book captivating.
The story starts with the glimpse of the Wild World National Park and the visitors witnessing the beauty of the jungle, and somewhere around the corner an owl is observing all the activities of the humans, who is tired and signing off its day, only he couldn't because of the Hustle-Bustle created by the visitors.
Then comes the city boy Bali, the Langur who is back in the jungle from his distaste job of chasing of the monkeys in the city, Which is further explored in the story about his backdrop and the reason behind quitting his job. As the story progress, many new characters are introduced out of which Bhola and Bala steals the show along with Bali.
Subsequently some calamitous events lead Bali to return to the city to bring back the Rani to the jungle, who is taken away by the Poachers. In the aftermath Bhola joins in this mission along with Bali and whether the two were able to bring back the Rani or not is the remaining part of the story.
Overall, reading Wild World was fun and frolic. Deepak Arora has skillfully written down this delightful book, where the reader will feel like it's just happening around them. The book maintains the pace throughout, there were no any dull moments. Along with the entertaining story, the author has added some meaningful contents which creates an awareness about the endangered animals and how the humans are treating them for their own benefits, which will be a strong message and a takeaway for the young minds. I would totally and happily recommend this book for all the kids out their who love to read funny yet meaningful stories, the illustrations make it even more interesting. I give this book 3.75 out of 5 stars.
Book Title: Wild World Author: Deepak Arora Format: Paperback
Book Title: The title of the book ' Wild World ' is alluring.
Book Cover: The cover image of the book is an animated image of wild animals with a forest as the background. The image syncs with the title perfectly.
Plot: In the era of Robotics and Artificial Intelligence playing a major role in human life, the thought of animals talking in the language that humans understand is definitely a fantasy and extremely imaginative. This thought a few decades back was brought into visual media and books. It's a known fact that movies like The Jungle Book, The Lion King, Stuart Little, etc., have made a long-lasting impression in everyone's mind.
This book, ' Wild World ' to some extent has done the same to me. The book was definitely a page-turner and very fun to read. Bali and Bhola take us on a super ride of fantasy.
What I like: 1. The author's imagination and honest writing 2. A very interesting illustration is found in the book 3. Social message with some humorous writing is a great attempt.
What I didn't like: There is nothing that can be disliked as the book can be read by any book lovers, though it's a children's book.
Characters: The author has helped every reader to re-live their childhood as one can relate back to watching The Jungle Book or Tales Spin or Suck Tales, where animals talk and behave like humans, or better than humans. Hence, the characters in the story Bali and Bhola take the readers on a nice fantasy ride.
Narration: The narration is very interesting.
Language & Grammar: Nice, easy and simple language with good vocabulary is used.
My Final Verdict: A fun and colorful read with a social message.
Book Title: 3/5 Book Cover: 3/5 Plot: 3/5 Characters: 3/5 Narration: 3/5 Language & Grammar: 3/5 Final Rating: 3/5
I have lately been enjoying a lot of middle grade books and WILD WORLD by Deepak Arora was one such fun read. Written with a simple language, Wild World primarily targets the younger audience but is an equally important and enjoyable read for all readers alike.
As the title suggests, Wild World follows the adventures of Bali, the langur and Bhola, the bear as they fight against all odds to protect their sanctuary. Bali, with his wit and Bhola with his physical strength make them a interesting and not-to-be-messed-with duo despite their initial differences in opinions. Bali and Bhola , tries to bring back the glory back to their home i.e their tigress Rani who has been captured and taken by the city zoo and in the process restore the peace and safety of their forest.
With witty dialogues and an equally entertaining plot the author manages to keep the readers engaged throughout the story. Especially all the humorous scenes were brilliantly written and I found myself enjoying every punch line and I am sure the children would love them too.
Along with an amazing plot, the author also puts to spotlight the pitiful events that occur in the wildlife sanctuaries primarily poaching and also how some halfwitted tourists often disturb the peace of the animal inhabitants. Also, the taming and use of wild animals for entertainment and economical gains by humans is put forward by the author.
But in a different light, we also encounter some positive elements like the camaraderie and unity in strength among the wild creatures and their never giving up attitude. Also, that there is still humanity left and there are some people like John regardless who do their part in making the world a better place.

My Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 Title: Wild World Author: Deepak Arora Format: Kindle Genre: Fantasy Language: English Publisher: Srishti Publishers
Book:- Wild Eorld By Deepak Arora • Publisher:- @srishtipub • Page Count:- 200 • Book Description:- This is a beautiful story weaved by the author about Bali, a langur and Bhola, the bear. They decide to move back to the jungle because Bali's human master made him Chase monkeys and in return, gave him nothing but a few pieces of leftover food to keep him alive. And Bhola's master was very cruel and treated him brutally and thus to have a happy life, they went back to the Wild World.
On the welcome night party of Bali, he saves the Raja Tiger while the other members of the jungle describe how cruelly poachers are killing tigers. Also they told him that Rani Tigress was still with the human poachers.
Will they be able to save The Rani? While Bali and Bhola begin their humourous adventure to save the Rani, Wild World reminded me of Jungle book, a movie which I saw in 3rd grade. • Point of View:- This book had pictures which made it enjoyable and reminded me of my childhood stories which had morals describing things about life. The things were crystal clear and the vocabulary was strong enough impress a beginner and encourage him to read good novels further. It had lessons for children but I personally recommend it to everyone. From a child to a teenager and a matured man, this is a perfect read for all. Talking about the cover, it was pretty and quite attractive.

Book Title: Wild World The Adventures of Bali and Bhola Author: Deepak Arora Publisher: Shrishti Publisher & Distributor Format: Paperback Book Rating: 4.7/5
This is the story of Bali, a langur and Bhola, a bear. They both work in the city. In the city, Bali with other langurs is used by humans to scare away disturbing city monkeys. He escapes to jungle from the city and saves the king of the jungle, tiger Raja from the bullets of a poacher on his welcome party. After the incident, all the animals jointly request him to bring back tigress Rani from the city. How he with Bhola frees Rani is the full story. On returning time, they teach lessons to humans as well. In the story, there are sub episodes which are very funny. Readers definitely like them. This story can be enjoyed by every age group but it is written for toddlers to young kids.
The writer draws the story in such a way that requires a special appreciation. The inscription of the Wild World National Park reminds me of the safari that we witnessed in some Hollywood films.
The cover image resembles The Jungle Book to me. Although it is very attractive. Other illustrations inside the book are amazingly sketched.
A cute little book for Kids with nice illustrations. Characters of animals are personified in a witty way. Story line portrays adventure with funny incidents. In a very lucid and smooth narration author takes a reader ( a kid in this case ) in a world of imagination where monkeys and bears with big furry wild cats set out on naughty actions , tricking each other and enter into human world. They enjoy their time but also through the all the adventures the story conveys some important lessons in a subtle way talking about how humans have affected lives of the ones in wild by hunting and the conditions of mind of animals living in captivities like zoos. Apathy towards them have not changed but all beings have a soul and love for their families and freedom. For a funny , witty , adventurous and yes imagination rich read give this book to your little ones :) . Pretty cute cover. Small chapters.I like books by srishti publishers.
Wild world by Deepak Arora 🌸 Shristi Publications 🌸Rs 250 🌸Children fables. 🌸192 pages BLURB- The protagonist is Bali a langur( not a monkey, this is almost funny to mention), who left the jungle in search of a job in the city, to live the glorified city job, but saw it was all a sham and this returns to the jungle instead where he finds everything in mayhem. The once great population of Tigers have decreased rapidly and the live of the only tiger Raja is endangered. Inspired by Bali's heroic acts, the animals decide to send him to rescue Rani the tigress from a zoo in the city, which will inject a new life in Raja. The story is how Bali with his friend Bhola the bear rescues the Tigress and the funny accounts that followed. OPINION- I like the clever analogies made in the story. The story is cute and funny and reminds me of the afternoons I spent watching Tarzan and Jungle book. How animals thought the human life as the wild world. The conversations among the animals. A considerably short read, I completed it in one sitting. Easy language and engaging fun plot. The cover is fun, the story also has some illustrations which is like super cute. The plot and the concept is fairly unique. Even though I have read the jungle book, this story and the narration was out of the box. The pace is fast with smooth flow. I didn't get bored for even a second. Every animal had their own individual name, which I found intriguing. Every kid who reads the story will end up many a dozen friend and will take lessons for life home. Even though the story is meant to be a light read, there are plenty of metaphors and heavy lessons beneath. Important issues like wildlife and nature conservation, respect for other kinds and treating even animals with kindness is touched.
Wild World is a decent read for school children plus the young adults. The thing I liked the most is the way the author touched the brutality faced by Animals by so called evolved social animals named Humans.
The dancing Bear and brave Langoor are all things that just made it wow in the story telling. Touched the aspect of the wrong in Zoo culture, the sin of Poaching and freedom of animals in their natural habitat is what I can say is the best take home message found in the Book.
The other characters humanised is what made me feel Nostalgic about the whole Book for I deeply missed Jungle Book minus the Mogli. The Author has made it enough to be made into a full fleged animated film.
This book has a very unique plot.. The coverv of the book is very Gorgeous and the title of the story is Interesting and the language used in the book is really easy to understand.
The narration is very Interesting The 2 main characters in book are bali the langur and bhola the bear.
This book is based on wild animals and their lifestyle and this book spread a social message through a funny book. I love the illustrations wish there was more😟 but all tho the really good to read full of adventures. This book really took me in my childhood days.. I enjoy this book! I recommend this book to everyone.🙈🙈
Book: Wild World Author: Deepak Arora Pages:192 Publisher: Srishti Publishers Format: Paperback Genre: Children's book
Ideation: This short story is the collection of the adventures of Bali, the langur and Bhola, the 🐻! It is a humorous tale of the wonderful animals and their resonance with humans metaphorically. The soft intricacies of the subtle animals brings animation to the plot and a path towards the light narration of the story with vivid imagination.
My Take: I loved the sweet little illustrations of the animals which makes the book a table of soft plushy toys. The paws at the beginning of each chapter gives the book a cute and funny outlook! Also, the chapters are short and the dialogues hilarious. I read a few chapters with my little sister and enjoyed the experience!
Critique: The plot is nicely elaborated but the vocabulary used is a bit hard for children to understand at their level which would help them lose interest in the story from the beginning. Nonetheless, the age-group 11-14 is best suited for the book, but it could have been more lucid for the young minds to comprehend.
Rating: 🌟🌟🌟.2/5
P.S. Bears are my favourite! But one of them is uniquely destined 🐻🤗🤗🤗🤗🐙🐙🐙🐙😇😇😇!
the story has two main characters Bali the langur and Bhola the Bear, sounds better as Bhola Bhalu. Anyway so basically both Bali and Bhola work in the city under their masters and were fed up with the way their masters treat them and both decide to run away back to woods with their fellow animals and hence they did. Their Bali saves the king from bullets and was then the Hero of the Jungle. All the animals and the king then request him to save the Rani (Queen) from the Zoo. So wanna know what happened next, buy the book then. I am not gonna tell you everything.
Well how much I like this book, I would say it’s a sweet little read for me as it comes under the child fiction for them, it’s really really great. A child can read it again and again but for me, it was a one-time read though I loved the concept and the narration of the story.

I would totally and happily recommend this book for all the kids or even adults who like funny yet meaningful stories.
"All humans are not bad there are lot of good humans that is why humans and animals have come a long way together. "
This book is just so good full of adventures, wild animals and creatures their talks and emotions, yes it's a must read for every one. Although it's a children book but story is so intriguing and well written that I just flowed in, I am reading this and narrate story to my son and he is so excited all the time what happen next? I can definitely say it reminds me of my childhood panchtantra stories of animals. Story goes so well and narrated beautifully. Story about a langur Bali who works as a monkey chaser in city and comes back to Wild world a national park where poachers are behind a Tiger called Raja of jungle, he is only tiger left in jungle. His Rani Tigress is back in city caged in a Zoo now all animal plan how to take Rani back so they send Bali and Bhola bear to city zoo to take Rani back so life in wild world came to normal. Bali and Bhola journey to zoo and how they got Rani back is very hilarious and full of adventures. So its a must read. There are much things which are described so beautifully like how we conserve animals and nature, how should we behave if we visit a tiger reserve or national park.
An amazing book that transports the reader to the jungle with every sentence that so lucidly evokes visuals of the animals that populate the Indian jungles! Had read The Jungle Book decades back when in school and also had seen the movie but this is the icing on the cake! Author's prose is like poetry and one literally can sing through the book playing with all the characters.
The language, the flow of thoughts in all the stories is so fluid that it is like watching a movie while being a part of it. A true representation of what a good book should be. If you love the language and wish to revel in the Indian jugle with creatures galore, this book is for you! If you miss reading it you would have missed leading a fulsome childhood.
The writing style is average. The narrative was likeable only upto a certain point. A lot of human concepts were included in the narrative with respect to animals which just felt lame and made no sense whatsoever. After a certain point, the animals were pretty much acting like humans, even a lot of dialogues were just animal version of cliche human dialogues. Such things, a child might find funny but it's not for adults. There were also a lot of pictures included in the book to tickle a child's imagination. The plot follows exactly like that of a spiced up and extended version of a moral story. It starts off with a problem (cruelty towards animals by humans) and ends with a nice, happy ending. Overall, it's a good moral story for children.
