This was a pretty good read! I gave it 4 stars because it started out a little slow for me! There were a few inconsistencies in the book but it did not take away from the storyline! I love how ReRe grew as a person. I could relate to her in a few ways! I’m glad she was finally able to open her eyes and see the world for what it was! This was my first read by this author and I look forward to reading more!
Another five star banger!! Re Re finally got her revenge and moved on. At first, I wanted to knock her head off but she was a victim like many of us had. I'm glad for her friend Letti we all need a friend like that. I wasn't disappointed at all with my author. Loved this story so realistic!
I was not disappointed. This was a great story. I totally felt Zaria and was glad about the ending. A real page Turner. I didn't stop till I finished the book. Great read

"Jail Talk" by Niki Jilvontae
My Rationalization:
This was definitely one of those reads that will keep you turning the pages to see what is going on with Zaria [RERE] Davidson and Jacori [Co] Walker with all of the twist and turns that were presented. I felt so sorry for RERE hoping that she would finally get it all together and learn enough was enough! All I can say is karma is definitely a bitch and it was definitely delivered to the right person after all was said and done with Zaria finally getting her just revenge. Thank God for friendship that Zaria had in Lette that was with her through all of it. I only wish Zaria had listened a little more to her friend but sometimes one has to learn it all for themselves.
I enjoyed this story because it speaks on the foolish things we do when we're desperate for love and affection, however I do not see Zaria as a victim. 1) there's no way in h3ll I'm staying with a man who's side chick jumps me while I'm pregnant putting the life of my newborn at risk! 2) she enjoyed years with a good man being loved the right way so even though he died, she could have found other ways to grieve and move on without getting back involved with Co. 3) Once she realized he was out, living his best life, she should have walked away. He didn't owe her anything when she chose to go back. She set herself up for the heartache and pain.
I would have scored higher if the book detailed how Co was able to kill 3 goons with a broken arm and broken ribs.
Everything is seemingly good until your man goes to jail. Suddenly that's when he flips the script and begins that slick "Jail Talk.”
Packed full of lies, betrayal, plot, planning and scheming…Jacori was groomed to bait and hook ‘em. And he was a master at his craft. The storyline was both entertaining and authentic. Letti was my favorite character. Loyal, lovable and always down for whatever! The definition of “Ride of Die.”
This is my first time reading Niki Jilvontae’s work and with a little fine tuning on editing, I would’ve definitely rated 5🌟 I’m hyped to read “Jail Talk Chronicles” so take my word, 1-Click NOW and read what all my hype is about!
It was a good read. Was Zaria a fool yes a fool in love and Co played on it. I didnt care to much for how she was willing to sacrifice her time with her kids over a MAN. No man is worth me having to lose my kids and have someone else raise them. I’m glad she did snap out of it but she was playing with fire. I’m not gone say some of what he did was her fault but she did allow somethings to go on and in the end she got burned by Co. she did get her happy ending and Co got his Karma. Read for yourself.
This book was really good. There are so many women like Zaria it's ashame smh. I wanted to slap Zaria so many times fooling with Co smfh. I swear I couldn't stand him. He was low down clown. Zaria knew better and didn't do better until the end after she ALLOWED Co to do her how he did. I'm glad she finally got it together. I love Letti. She was a good friend. She always had Zaria's back no matter how dumb she was being. Good job Niki !
OMG!!! This book was excellent. I found myself getting angry at Zaria, but in the end I had to remind myself I was in a similar situation so I couldn't be mad at her. Nikki you did your thing with this one, it's so realistic, I'm sure after reading this book it will save someone a lot of heartache. I was especially happy with the ending, Co got his just dues. I'm anxiously waiting on your next book.
Great read. A lot of women can relate to the dealings of this story. I recommended it to a few women i knew could relate and get a laugh out of the reality of JAIL TALK... It lagged my interest a little to where i kept putting it down waiting to get to the action, but i finished the read and sent it to some sites that need a wake up from the foolery of living a bum of a man with
Everything in this book was on point. RERE had me on her head. I swear I wanted to knock her out. Co was a ruthless dude. I wanted something to happen to him. All them dudes in jail was all saying the same crap. CO , he was talking all that mess about RERE. He had me so mad In my the end who walked away laughing .
This was a really good read and being a complete standalone made it better. I’m glad Rere finally woke up and got to experience happiness. I think Co needed something worse to happen to him but his outcome was still good karma. Letgo was the best friend and I absolutely loved her!
Sad but this is a lot of women’s reality maybe not as much heartache but the lies and bull we as women tolerate when you love a man behind bars ,Zari almost lost herself and her kids behind lies and deception of a man she thought loved her but was just using for years , be careful what u ask for
Zaria really put up with a lot of unnecessary mess dealing with and listening to Co. I was so hoping she would come to her senses. Storyline was full of drama as Co used and abused all he could. Letti was the best friend ever. Real life situations kept me reading. Good ending
Niki never disappoints when it comes to her pen skills..... the twist and turns of this book keeps you reading til it's over and u left wanting more !!!!! Another banger..... I'm a fan for life
Wow!! This just shows you that people can be so naive. Some of the things in the book was just not connecting at first. The ending was good. She was so in love with him it really was rediculious!!!

I felt sorry for her but at some point she had to take some of the blame. The signs were there from the first trip to jail. I’m so glad she got her happy ending.
There were sure a lot of ups and downs and bad decision making situations in this book. I felt like it was decently written and the characters were pretty well fleshed out. I enjoyed it.
