Packed with beautiful illustrations of these fantastic mythical creatures, this book informs readers about what a dragon is as well as describe each country's dragons in detail. I was surprised and elated to read about my birth country's dragon, not having any prior knowledge that we even had our own dragon with its own mythology where it would apparently eat the moon. Learning of this fun little fact definitely brought a smile to my face.

Interesting fantasy tales related to the history of a number of nations.
I found the Filipino Dragon quite interesting since it eats the moon.
This dragon is named Bakunawa which means moon-eater!!!
Bakunawa Dragons live in the sea and rise out of the water into the sky to eat the moon; thus causing the eclipses!
