I agree with the previous reviewer who stated that is it best to read this manual in pieces rather than all at once. It is not the most user-friendly manual and it does try to accomplish too much, I think. Be prepared to be overwhelmed with information! The summaries at the end of each chapter are pretty much useless, also.

As advertised, a basic introduction to technical services. This book wasn't very forward-looking at all but it did serve as a good CliffNotes version of the history of library acquisitions and cataloging operations.
