‪I LOVED this book so much and reading about Emma Smith❗️❤️😇🙏🏻 It makes my Testimony of Joseph & Emma Smith that he was a true Prophet and did restore The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Gospel keeps getting stronger every single time I read books like these. They went through SO much together and they were a powerful couple together were true living examples of living the Gospel the fullest and best as they could and they were incredible parents to their children and examples of serving others other then themselves and they are Heroes to me and to many others all over the World 🌎 I can’t wait to meet them and give them a BIG HUGE hug on the other side of the veil and tell them thank you for restoring the one and only true Church and translating The Book of Mormon❗️❤️😍😘😇🙏🏻 This book is a must read no questions asked. I HIGHLY recommend it to everyone that has not read it yet. This book has 92 pages.

I picked up a few books at the library about Emma Smith desiring to know more about her. I read this one first simply because it's so short (92 small pages). It's a collection of memories and recipes from her descendants. I felt like I was sitting at someone else's family reunion--interesting, intimate, respectful, and reverent, but I'm not sure I should be there. Some accounts were more tribute testimonies than memories (like a 5th great-grandson who never actually knew her), while others were first-hand accounts of Emma. I enjoyed learning some things about Emma like her love of horses or how she always wore an apron and was a great cook over the fire. The account by Robert Wendell Smith,"I Heard Emma" was very enlightening, and I do feel that Emma was faithful to Joseph until the end of her life. But the book left me with more questions than it provided answers. Luckily there are plenty of other sources out there to tackle in order to form a more clear picture of who Emma Hale Smith was.

I picked this up at a Bookstore not sure if I would like it. I read it in one sitting,(only 92 pages) I found it to be very enlightening. A collection of memories written by her posterity, showed that Emma was very much loved and respected. Her children were the most important things to her, and keeping them safe and together was her focus. Her great, 2nd, and 3rd great grandchildren pay tribute to a grandmother that was strong, loving, loyal, and forthright. I had a good feeling reading this book. There were some amazing stories about her posterity searching for a way to really know Emma, and their success. My emotions were close to the surface as I read some of these stories. The more I think about it, and remember what I read, the more I like it. I will reccomend it to my family, children and friends. I will read this again, in the future.

This new little book is a collection of excerpts from the progenitors of Emma Smith. Though I learned some new things about Emma that I hadn't known and enjoyed seeing her recipes that have passed down through her family, I can't give this more than an "ok" rating. Touted as being a "collection of memories recalled by her posterity", I was hoping to learn a lot more about her. But much of it was a collection of "I'm so proud to be a part of Emma's posterity" or stories of how family members were converted to the LDS church--- which is all nice, but doesn't really belong in a book that's supposed to be about Emma. Save that kind of stuff for the Smith family reunions!

This was a nice short read filled with short stories from descendants of Emma Smith. Also inside are a handful of recipes of Emma's including biscuits, peanut brittle, corn bread and more.

There are a few stories in this book that makes the book certainly worth reading. The spirit spoke to me during these few short stories and deepened my testimony on The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. They are beautiful words.

This is a very small book in size and length. An easy read.

What a fun read. It's full of excerpts from actual descendants of Joseph and Emma Smith. It was very neat to read. Some are members of the church, and some are not. I really enjoyed reading this one.

This is a combination genealogy, cookbook, history book that was informative. It was written by descendants of Emma Smith, several of whom are converts to the LDS faith. Some of the stories are inspiring and others are more like a who's who. It is very short and a worthwhile read.

It was great to read historical accounts of Emma's later life post-Joseph and what a caring person she was from her ancestor's recollections etc. I've been meaning to try one of the recipes too!
